Shiva's posture only STRENGTHENED even more at hearing what Heart asked them to promise, she appeared even HIGHER than before. Her arms remained crossed firmly in front of her chest, her gaze fixated Heart even more as if using Lock On on him - soon, it developed into a Glare of the intensity of making smaller Pokemon flee from her. The temperature around her seemed to cool rapidly, if that was even possible in the current environment - in short, she outplayed her 2 point in Intimidate.

Her tone of voice also grew dangerously lower. "Heart, you must have accidently missed what I was bringing up to you a few seconds ago: WE ARE A GROUP. As long as I am a part of it, NONE gets left behind." She shakes her head eagerly, as if trying to directly counter that determination she picked up from the PUNisher as he spoke up. "Please forgive me, but I can't give you my word on your request, nor do I....want to.... Think over what you just said. Brave words, true, a noble action you'd take - but a RECKLESS one nevertheless. If we'd leave ya b'hind, you'll be a free dinner to these bugs. Or the Scimitar's new test object. Think over it again - Remember your Pokemon. What will happen to them if you fall? What be with US if we won't see ya 'gain? You can imagine it all by yourself." A hint of sadness washed over her expression and emotional pool, way too fast be tangible. "We're having better ways to delay progression of danger. Please don't be... Valder finds (5)(1)(2) a piece of thunderglass, a small portion of an evolutionary stone! Not enough to evolve with, but prized by jewelers and such. (And by Larvesta!)

When Valder find such item Heart go in his direction. "Wow. That is a piece of Thundergrass! Please Valder, I really need that item to gain the trust of a Larversta! Please please please. I pay you 1000 Pokedollar for that Stone."

Valder is a bit surprised when Heart suddenly comes. "This? uhh... I guess you can have it. But, instead of the money I'd prefer a favor from you in the future".
 Valder holds the thunderglass up for Heart to take if he's okay with what Valder said.

(a favor might be like letting me pick an encounter you atually had priority to. Like for example if in the future everyone gets a magikarp, but one person is allowed an Yveltal, in which case Valder would like that even if you asked for it first)   (altough I doubt that will happen...)

Heart think in disagree with them, but he stop for a second. As much he want to go ahead to scout, perhaps everyone stick together might be the better strategy to follow. Whatever is ahead, is strong, mean and have desire for destruction. The better way to fight against that is everyone figh together.

"You two are right. Whatever the case we need to be very careful for now on." Then Heart say something with determination. "But before we forward I need to ask you guys something important. You must promise me you are going to do it."

Then Heart say with big determination. "In case...we may not able to fight against whatever is ahead and we got ambushed or outnumber against Scimitars or Bug pokemon, you must promise you going to leave me behind so I can delay the progression of the danger. You all must promise me that."

Nathan glances at the meat gathering Durant horde...

Shudders.  And shivers.

...he'd rather not think about someone suffering...THAT fate...not now, not ever.

Heart take the shoulder of Nathan. Not to yell to him or anything. But like a friend who each other. "I must be honest Nathan. In the beginning of our journey I hated you during our first fight against each other. Everyday I was thinking in leave the group just to not have the chance to tolerate you anymore..."

Then Heart close his eyes for a second. "But, that's change little by little. I begin to know you better, and even if we have fight each other, I begin to forge a bond with each of you people. And as much in begining, even with you Nathan. You are only one who know my past, my traumas...and my failure."

Heart give a sad but the same time determined glare too. "Shiva. Ventus. Once a time ago, I failed in save my own family... because I was not strong or brave enough. After that I walk in a dark path and do things I will never able to forgive myself...you people is very much important to me...you all it's what I have more close to a family. I lost my family once, and I don't want want to lost another one." He make a determined face: A mix of sadness, grief, but also courage and bravery. "I not some kind of hero. I never was." Ventus perked up out of his head and gave a vigorous nod of support as his girlfriend oh so wonderfully found the perfect words that mirrored his own sentiments, giving both her and the pun lover a gracious, kind smile as he responded.

"She's right, Heart. We stand together and support each other no matter how dire the circumstance may be, so please don't forget that my friend. If not for our shake, then at least for your Pokémon, for it is as Shiva said: what would befall them without you as their anchor?"

He quavered though when the fae woman turned her stern glare on him and gave him the very same warning, causing him to hesitate briefly before sighing and nodding his head. It wouldn't do to upset the misses or anyone else with the reminder of how willing he is to use his own wellbeing to further his/the group's goals for the greater good, least of all his beloved, so agreeing with her was really the only outcome available for him...

Nathan quietly nods in response to continuing onwards.  He wants to get going before these Durant decide to start trying to cut them up like they did with that Slowpoke Tail...

...and Ralts is essentially family to Nathan.  Zippy is almost there, too.  And he thinks very highly of Solomon and all of his other pokemon even if they don't view him the same way.

Infiltrating was the Absol's speciality that she currently cares for, and to some degree her beloved fluffball's too, but definitely not the PUNisher's! In a more soft and compassionate tone, she spoke up AGAIN. "Heart, you seem to miss my point. Am I not speaking loud or clear enough? I'm sorry that you lost your family as you say, but....forgive, I haven't asked for your background. Right now...there is no time for big revelation, nor is this the place to do so. Our Pokemon have gone missing, some of them at least. Without dear Slurpuff, WE WILL BE LOST DOWN HERE WITHOUT A CHANCE TO RETURN, and I'd rather not wait until sweet Tanuki finds us. It's generous from her, but only the last restort..."

Ven just chooses to remain silent and let Shiva/Nathan do the talking, and gives his own nod of agreement of continuing their pursuit of their 'lost' Pokémon. He has Lucifer ready to provide Tailwinds for the Group's Mounts, and he's naturally going to be riding with his girlfriend, so we are all prepared......I hope!

Heart go silent for a second listening to the words and determination of his commarades. What was the last time Heart feel in home with anyone? And they even determined to fight together against any kind of danger. Even Shiva feeling fear and Nathan not a close friend...all of them is acting to fight together with him.

A little tear roll from Heart eye. "I really a idiot indeed. I have forget I not alone. I sorry for what I say. Whatever danger is ahead: Scimitars or Bug we going to fight. Together." With a determined face he followed everyone. Time to face whatever is ahead.

As a 'reward' for Heart's sense and as an act of ending things now, Shiva gifts him a very light smile that barely made it to break through her features, but which was definitely still there - followed by a tissue to dry any tears. It has green leaves and a Shaymin in Sky Form boldly flying in between these leaves imprinted on it.

Hearing that he too(!!!) lost his family causes her to in the long run value a even more that she's having a loving home.
