[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Thank you.
Now that you've already stopped it'd probably be best to just pull the whole Stabilizing through in one go, as stopping a second time to do that would be...inconvenient, I guess.

Uh...Lucifer hasn't actually 'taken' Lethal damage yet.  I'd rather not waste resources if we can avoid it.

Plus, that would be the second Potion used on Lucifer today, so it'd be half as effective.

Actually, might want to hold on to that Revive unless it's really needed.  Book says Revives also Stabilize wounds upon use, but only restore 1 HP (unless it's the ultra amazing and rare Max Revive, of course).  That's another backup plan right there.

For clarification though, @Iron, do Revives only restore 1 HP like the book says in this campaign, or can they restore up to half HP like in the games?  I'm not sure this has been properly addressed yet.

Half. It's in the original post, although I put it under Spending Money for some reason lol. Should also be in the Inventory tab, but I cannot check right now.

I...appreciate that, much! Assessing a wound likely will do nothing to heal it though I guess, but unusual strategies can be found. (Shoo, lame thinking-inside the box) But I wonder what would count as an 'unusual' strategy for you, any example or hint? Like, Ventus is naturally tough and a survivalist, while Shiva is on the way to become an expert in a Pokemon's hidden potential with her sixth sense and specialization in Channel-based attacks + nature/using plants to accomplish things, so can some of that be outplayed?

An example would be using nearby herbs, or something risky like cauterizing a wound, or any other thing that isn't just "apply first aid kit"

I been thinking for a while and I been following what Phantom have say about be more insightful. Maybe I was to harsh when Nathan was just trying to take care of the injuries of Lucifer and Calam. I was worried because, we still in a deadly territory with a Legendary bug with millions or even billions of insects behind us and we can't simple stop now to heal everyone. I indeed fear any characters of us can die, human or Pokemon.

I sorry about me and Heart act brute and interrupt Nathan in that moment. That's why I let Heart one of his Super Potion to heal Lucifer. Can Heart in stabilize Lucifer and Calam to at least help everyone to get out? Because as Phantom say conflicts now it's not the time or space. *Offer hand* Can you accept my apologies @Dragonstrike?

Hmm, cauterizing a wound does indeed sound like something that could be done in a very dire situation and I can totally imagine Ventus doing such a thing, a loyal and trustworthy Fire Type could probably help on that. (Still sounds painful.) Shiva could maybe make a makeshift bandage with grass and leaves. I'll keep these suggestions in mind!

Now THAT's quite an XP-reward, despite we haven't even battled Seika directly. <3

Shiva's now the most important person for Mightyena.

I get that.  Nathan is very selfless when it comes to pokemon, so I can understand that it can be frustrating to work with.  The only goal right now is to make sure Calam and Lucifer aren't dying (and to do a slightly more interesting Stabilization scene ith Ventus), not to heal them completely, so that shouldn't take long enough for the bugs to catch up, I believe.

I'd rather you save that Super Potion unless it's REALLY needed.  Same with any Revives.  If Heart could stand guard to make sure nothing interrupts the Stabilizations, that'd probably behow he can make himself the most useful.

My general plan for the Stabilizing whenever it happens is:
- Heal Calam's Lethal damage (done)
- Stabilize Lucifer so he doesn't take Lethal Damage (considering spending a Will point on this, actually)
- Stabilize Calam (half flavor, half preventative in case he might take more from being so damaged)
- Revive Calam (with Hurtloam if Stable, with a Revive if not)

You're forgiven, and you (unintentionally) developed the scene a little more.  Don't worry about it. *shakes hand*

Anyways...just waiting on either getting it done now (provided Ventus thinks it can be dobe quickly enough) or putting it off until a little bit later (risky since Lethal damage could accumulate, but te bugs wouldn't be as big of a worry.)  Nathan personally wants to do it now, but he'll defer to the specialist (Ventus) on this decision.

Edit: well, guess all's well that ends well. The danger has passed. Phew.
