Thank Larry for the trait that Cottonee doesn't like being touched/stroked from anyone other than Shiva, to Ventus she's friendly however if he doesn't overdo it and keeps his hands at him.

Hey, more people to throw Pokémon at the Reinis is always a good thing, so even if he's weak he'll still contribute somewhat!

Depends which Pokemon you'd like to use, Dragonstrike, as you haven't stated anything about it yet.

I've been half waiting to see if @Nylon was going to respond (he hasn't yet, obviously), and half thinking about how to go about this.

I can use Ditto, but that takes a short amount of setup and you have to use whatever it is it's Transforming into.  Any other pokemon Nathan uses are going to be destroyed by EQ if they aren't immune to Ground (side note: Telekinesis makes the target immune to Ground at the expense of all moves used against them gaining a never-miss trait). This goes double for Mr. Finder.

I could have Ditto Transform into Tropius and command Cottonee if you think that's worth the risk.  I don't plan to level Vit to 4 right now, but I am seriously considering leveling Str to 4.

I could also level Fight and try to have Kirlia get some Hypnosis attacks off if they're vulnerable to it.

There's also the matter of Solosis that we have to consider...

Frankly, I don't care about that Solosis at all, really. It's completely your responsibility. Forgive me for being so blunt please, but it's the truth...

Telekinesis is Lilith's speciality, but I cannot and will not have her out to keep that benefit as she'll for sure count as a Pokemon out in that case, nor will Shiva enjoy having her of all costs being hit by the Earthquakes. Shiva handing Cottonee to Nathan to command is a big step for both, but she'll surely benefit from lots of Dexterity.

Mind sharing what plans you've pondered, mate? Usually when you do that much brainstorming you come up with several good ones, so lay them on us!

Tropius has Razor Lead to my knowledge, so you still have access to a Spread Move with Ditto that can HOPEFULLY deal chip damage to those cover + shielded fiends, and with Cottonee having Mega Drain couple with High DEX means she can keep herself healthy AND pierce those blasted shields. If you do use Ditto for that purpose, Lucifer will be using Tailwind on them (Both Cottone and Ditto Tropius too so that they can hopefully get of the Transform off before Mamo shakes things up), at the cost of Gustav and Lucifer themselves not getting. Lucifer's probably going to stick with casting Tailwinds/Screeches for everyone this battle, but Nathan's Pokémon will get the first volley along side Malphena and Viktor!

I honestly DO think the risk is worth the reward of dealing with those Reunicli pronto, as Psychic attacks and WORSE could reasonably used through cover to whittle us down more quickly than we could do to them. Plus, they also have access to Recover potentially, which would make the fight a total slog of attrition against us, so high damage is needed to deal with them imo.

I'll leave the choice of which stat to level up to your discresion, mate, as you know what's best for your character better than I.

Just KO the bugger, or let it flee and THEN capture one of the Reunicli instead to put under guard instead. Simple!

I honestly DO think the risk is worth the reward of dealing with those Reunicli pronto, as Psychic attacks and WORSE could reasonably used through cover to whittle us down more quickly than we could do to them. Plus, they also have access to Recover potentially, which would make the fight a total slog of attrition against us, so high damage is needed to deal with them imo.

Giga Drain's better and stronger than Mega Drain so maybe that'd be a better choice of orders, but otherwise I'd agree to everything said, yes.

I can share her current moveset for the sake of choosing orders later as it's nothing secret: Fairy Wind/Growth/Absorb/Mega and Giga Drain, she's collecting XP for all the cool things she'll learn when being a Whimsicott.

I can't KO Solosis with Calam and use an optimal setup of pokemon at the same time.   If it gets KOed and isn't picked up soon after, EQ is likely to kill it (which I don't want to happen).  Capturing a Reuni isn't a convenient option because we can't capture other trainers' pokemon with pokeballs and those blobs with hands are actually threatening, unlike Solosis.  We can only trivialize watching Solosis because it can't do anything to us without getting mulched immediately since it only has 2 Vit.

That plan does sound best for trying to burn through them as quickly as possible, imo.  I'm just worried EQ might destroy us before it destroys them (5 + 4 + STAB = 10 D6 base.  A max damage roll would instantly KO a Grass type with only 3 Defense and 6 HP)

If I'm going to be attempting to help Valder burn through the lot of 'em ASAP with Razor Leaf/Giga Drain, I'll probably level Str (which I've been wanting to do anyways).  4 + 2/3 + STAB = 7/8 base, and Razor Leaf is high crit.

I've been considering smashing pillars one at a time to get to each Reuni one at a time.

I was also considering attempting to 'weaken the chain', so to speak.  KO the ones in the middle first or attempt to strike their arms/hands to separate them so they don't have nearly as much of a power boost.  Don't know if Hypnosis could do that instantaneously, though.
