"...do you have any suggestions for how we might go about stopping the Scimitars from finding this place?  We know they're using these Solosis and Reuniclus as scouts of sorts, searching the tunnels before they venture down there themselves.  Mr. Finder clocked around a dozen Scimitars in a small area near the surface when we first encountered this Solosis.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure how quickly they can turn these pokemon, or how expensive such ventures might be for them...the best we might be able to do is delay them for now...but maybe that'll be enough?  Do you know how long we have until the Relic Stone moves to a different location?  It took us around...a week to get down to where it was, I think?  If we have to stop a group of them halfway, I think we can probably do that...but if the stone moves before they get there, then we might not have to for the time being..."

Heart try to stop her in gone. "Wait! Lady Ark! What you mean about use the spirit of competition? And what is this Sword and end the experiments? Wai-" Then she have gone. Without any trace of her presence. Heart then try to recover himself. He see the shrine who is hidden between the leafs. Slowy, Heart aproach the shrine and try to see what these "gifts" is all about. Perhaps they are in that shrine somehow.

"You cannot call a Legendary, a spirit of the world, an avatar of nature, like one would call a Growlithe. As for sealing off this realm, I would ask the Librarian."

"Time moves strangely here. From in here, it is hard to evaluate how much time passes in the world of linear spacetime."

Celebi seems bored of these technical details.

It's the Celebi Shrine, of the Ilex Forest! Which, you realize, is One in some unknowable fashion with the Shrine of Celebi Park in Cress City. Which, in turn, is one with the Gauntlet, where your physical body stands.

But all that's in the shrine is a half-eaten dumpling and a few twigs and leaves.

"...well...that's kinda why I was asking if there is a way to contact you in the future...or some more accessible place we could take the pokemon that would contain enough of your power to restore a pokemon's memories (like Orre's Relic Stone in Agate Village)...it's fine if there isn't, though...I need to also talk with Mesprit at some point...I'm just...worried about having access to something that can purify these emotionless pokemon...and about the imminent situation with the Scimitars..."

...if Celebi has a solid response for that great.  If not, that's fine.  Nathan's said what he's needed to.

"...sorry...I guess this isn't quite what you usually deal with, is it?  I can assure you that we'll do our best to stop the Scimitars in their tracks, though.  I just hope we have enough time and that they don't find the Relic Stone before it's moved..."

A quick bow from Nathan again.  "Thank you for your time and gifts, Celebi.  I'll seek to repay and redistribute that kindness as best as I can."

Well, next on the to-do list is investigating that shack that's totally *not* falling apart. Mostly to see if there's any apricorns over there. Kirlia was interested in it, so what's he do when everyone visits?

Again, Ventus found himself staring at the great big Slaking as it began speaking to him conversationally/informatively .....before he recoverd as he closed his eyes and let out a *Sigh* as he took this development in stride. Seeing Antheneum was......multimedia and apparently part of/wholesale temporal anomaly was a big enough shock to his system to dull the surprise of meeting yet another talking Pokémon (one so gentlemanly at that!) , and more over the group's Encounter with the tailless Slowking dulled it further still. That, and this was a mystical, very much supernatural place; anything was possible, least of all like Pokémon fluent in Common, a phenomena seldom but still seen on the surface.

"......Then I can do without. Smoking is a filthly habit I shouldn't indulge anyway, even it would calm my nerves so.... You also have no need to apologize or feel accountable for this....library being in such a state of disarry, since I well know the pains of inventory and time management from my time working in my university's archives. I thank you for your generousity and advice, Slaking, and I promise me nor my Pokémon will not disrupt the peace here, or intentionally break any of its rules. I'll also keep an eye out for those.......particular books too."

"Speaking of your generosity and my one question.......might I ask how to bare this Library to 'unwanted' persons? A certain group of people known as the Scimitars (Ven's face twists up like something foul has been put in front of him).....they are after the knowledge and power that resides in these halls, and would put it all towards nefarious purposes or deny anyone else the chance to partake of it. They've already dabbled in depraving the very conscious self of a Pokémon, and I shudder to think what else they would be capable of doing with all they could learn here....."

Afterwards, the empath bids a good day/night to the supersized simian with a respectful bow, and proceeds to explore The Library and puruse/utilize its various resources in the following order, with short breaks in between so as not to completely spend his energy and pass out:

- First, a trip to the Healing Machine to fully restore the condition of all his Pokémon. They've all had a rough time down here as of late, with Malphena and Abaddon suffering the most injuries recently, so a get run through it will fix most of their physical woes!

- Second, going over to the Time Capscle and, after staring at it confusion before the on duty Slowking informed him of its use/he learned what it does somehow, swaps out Malphena and Lucifer for Sulphaltus (Shedinja) and Lilith in there place, then heads over to the TM Library to teach Michael and them Drain Punch, X Scissors, and Giga Drain respectfully. Knowledge is power for them indeed!

- Third, pay a visit to the Tomes of Geneolgy, since while Ventus knows he's descended from Jhoto and Opelucid bloodlines, he doesn't exactly what ancestors he has since his father/mother never really got around explaining their respective family histories to their children. Choice of Blood being Awoken would be Noble, as the researcher is heavily interested and connected to all things Dragons, and I also like the though of his being distantly related to some sort of elite person!

- Forth, checking out the Technical Manuals and finding a book/books holding tips, trick, techniques, and general good advice on how to hone one's senses to become more aware and Alert of your environment/people. More Alert means less likely Ambushes happen, you notice something important, and Nasty Plot going off!

- Fifth and finally, wander over to the Relic Library and try to find an Amulet Coin in all the stuff in there, since the Mega Stones available are for Pokémon I don't have and will not get, and having additional ways to get more Poke is always a great thing! Roll would be Insight (5) + Survival (3) + Alert (3) - 2 = 9D6 Dice to find the Item!

Once Ven's finished doing everything he possibly could (And helped Valder out if they allow/ask it of him), he'll go over and treat himself to so food and drink that is available here, before going over to a hammock and spawling out on it to get some sleepless rest to speed up his Exhaustion recovery. He deserves a break after everything done, both at the current local AND all that was endured to get here in the first place!

Ventus finds the Amulet Coin in the cushions of one of the comfy armchairs.

"Ah, so that's where that was. I've been looking for that."

"Well, these Scimitars sound very disruptive. I'm sure we don't want any of them snooping around. Why don't we simply reset the Guardians, set them to riddles these hooligans won't be able to answer? It has to be a real riddle, mind, or the Guardians will reject the new settings. If you can think of at least three riddles the Scimitars won't be able to answer, they will simply be booted back to Mt. Sentry, or wherever the Relic Stone is currently."

"Oh? Well, if you were looking for it, then you can have it. I was just poking around for stuff out of curiosity and to prevent myself from ceasing up from tiredness, but if you or the library has greater need for it, I won't check it out."

...

Ven gains a thoughtful look at the simple yet brilliant solution to confound those dastardly and bastardly Scimitars, before he nods his head. "That is an excellent idea, Slaking. Unfortunately *Suddenly looks rather sheepish*, I'm.....not that great with riddles or puzzles of any sort, so whatever I come up with will likely be either woefully lacking or simply be rejected wholesale by the guardians. Insightful and Knowledgable as I am, my skills and talents lie in less creative fields such as those. Its why I choose the Battle Trail, after all......"

"Hmm.....well, I can always confer with the rest of my group and brainstorm with them several painful brain twisters. Group think does wonders for most any task, so long as it can be directed in a constructive manner, as I have learned. Could you also perhaps give me some advice and guidelines on how to make a good riddle? Any aid I can utilize or pass along to my companions would be a great boon indeed, but if that is not possible I shan't impose on you any longer and figure it out.......hopefully, anyway."

"You may check it out. I just wanted to re-file it, like everything that is supposed to be in the Relic Library."

"A good riddle has exactly one solution, though the Guardians overcome all language barriers. When you know the solution, the clues suddenly become an obvious description of the solution. Traditionally, Atheneum riddles contain some moral component or hint at some truth about the world. A great riddle has metaphor, irony, wordplay, and a touch of enigma. I'd suggest using a solution the Scimitars cannot conceive of - silence, or decorum, I'd guess. But you know them better than I do."

Well, now that we're getting into the meat and bones of Atheneum, I think a change in music is in order.
