A massive sigh escapes Shiva, she doesn't even care to make it impercible. "Bah. These Scimitars.... They're probably not knocking at Atheneum's door THAT soon, but you're probably right that they shouldn't make an appearance anywhere near the Gauntlet. Or the Stone. Or us.... Because if they do, they will pay." *suggestive glance over to Ventus, before due to thinking of the Scims she makes a face as if there was a lemon hidden among the fruit she was happily noming and she hasn't noticed until it was too late*



"Humm. Give me a little and I'll come up with suggestions for riddles that they might - will - hopefully struggle with. Mine were:

"Water, Thunder, Fire...I am eight elements in one. Who am I?"

"I Splash in the stream and I follow my dream and I grew and I flew and you can too. What Pokemon am I?"

"...am I also right in the assumption that the answer to yours is...and Everstone?"

Solosis goes and hides behind a stack of nearby books while this discussion is going on.  Kirlia goes over there to comfort her and assure her everything will be okay.

Nathan shakes his head in response to Shiva's answer to his riddle. That's definitely not the answer.

Shiva however looks at Nathan, in a less annoyed but still deadpan expression. "Eh... You know, given the state I found you in after the battle, dear, I guess it was definitely hard. Darmanitan usually rely on brute force, and these very very few exemplars that are able to enter a Zen-like trance are also capable to let loose an enormous amount of psychic energy if triggered enough."

"...well, a Darmanitan would be difficult to handle...was it just trying to blitz through everything?  I'd like to know the details."

(I'm going to assume Ventus fills everyone in)

"...so it was a huge, super strong Darmanitan with Sheer Force that definitely knows how to Fight and Brawl that challenged you to a 1v1...and you won partially because you used Destiny Bond..."

...Nathan shudders. He's rather glad he wasn't the one who attempted that battle, to be honest...

"...that sounds like it'd probably be difficult for anyone.  Well, provided it has physical moves other than its Fire STABs...might have to ask Slaking for more detail on that one, but it can probably remain unchanged...if they don't have ways to cheese it by using moves like Destiny Bond and various status inflicting moves, it might just outright cream them..."

Sentry, sending Reuniculus and Solosis to search though this place. Those guy will not giving up yet. And I agree with Nathan to discuss that issue, now. Because if not, when? Also my riddle was:"

Shiva just silently ignores the formerly dead Solosis. She'd be somewhat skittish around it if it'd come close to her, but would never do anything that'd hurt the small one if it doesn't give her a reason. Of course she'd delighted that it came...well...'back to life', but that's about it.

To Nathan, she at first mildly frowns, then shrugs, then very slightly smiles; all with a tilted head. "Humm, then no Everstone. Next attempts:

....A Ditto? They are known to turn into stones for sleeping, and can transform into any creature of the sky, earth and sea. If that's not the solution, let's go for the obvious call: Landorus? IS the solution a Pokemon at all?"

"....Magikarp's correct." A sentimental expression washes over Shiva, remembering how she too wishes to fly and achieve her dreams like that karp. "But Seika is not. Urgh, it's enough if that mockery of a Bug Type Pokemon already rules five Types according to what you told, Heart..... Nope, the answer is a Pokemon that's rather rare in the wild and that is a pet at my home, thus belonging to my favorite species."

To Heart, very very coyly blushes and looks away, as she remembers that she inspired him to attempt talking to wild Pokemon at first before outright challenging to a battle if the intention is catching them. Aww! "If you're terrible at riddles, you maybe could watch me playing something from the Professor Layton-series, or even loan a copy from me if you want to give it a try and widen your wits. Good games." ... "Ah, but... I've never seen spoken words growing on a bush so far apart in wild and fantastic dreams, the answer is something that noble N disapproves and refuses to use although he did own some Pokemon himself."

"Hmm let's see...how about this one:"

The whole time during this discussion, Shiva has also been scribbling semi-wildly on a sheet of paper, using her hard-cover book about raising a Spritzee to give off various scents as writing pad. At several points she stopped and considered, but eventually she nods contently and puts her pen away. "A...Alright, I've came up with these four riddles." *showing the sheet of paper and passing it to the others for taking a look at them* (The solution is concealed by the spoiler-tag, clicking it at your own discretion. The paper does of course not include the answer.)

What follows after is beyond our control however, this outcome may stun or disappoint you, but it's always suprising as it draws from one of the largest pool known to mankind since the taming of Pokemon.  Valder says that his was:

Valder says that he found it puzzling.
