While somewhat irritated (which is readily visible and apparent) that Nathan adamant refusal to teach all his Rock Smash capable Pokémon the move ('Does the boy not trust me or my expertise? …...Perhaps, perhaps not, and both for good reason. *Mental Sighing*') , Ventus decided to let the matter go and not pressure the issue for now. He knew quite well how stubborn they were when they have made up their mind, and more over asking him to compromise on his (admittedly reasonable) guidelines he forced on everyone in front of the rest of the group....that not ideal to reinforce his policy. Just has to bind his time, and try again in private and more....favorable circumstances...

All of this was said in a calm, polite tone, with nothing in his mood or body language indicating it was anything less than genuine. Which was the truth, but he's also hiding how surely he is about not getting all his Pokémon taught Rock Smash, so just want to clarify!

Ventus closed his eyes and placed a hand on his chin in thought at the request, tactfully not acknowledge or bringing up Nathan's own nervousness and fears regarding the Bonding Ritual. A few minutes later, the researcher eye's flickered open and he clasped his hands together as he turned to face Nathan and began to calmly give out the intructions/procedure he followed.

"First, select the appropriate Apricorn and ground it for the Pokémon taking a part in The Bonding Ritual. Different Apricorns are more effective with different Pokémon, such as using Blue Apricorns with Water types, Yellow for Flying, White for Quick Pokémon, etc etc.


"Second,it is recommended you get the permission of the Pokémon taking part in the Bonding Ritual, as having them a willing participant enhance the power and effectiveness of it, or at least that was so in my case. This is optional, mind you, but its still a good idea to implement it none the less."


"Next, you must compose some form of poem or similar that conveys all the experiences you had together, and recite it as you sprinkle it on the Pokémon. I went with an epic poem in a hybrid of Mamo style and traditional Japanesse Haiku and it detailed my feelings and the highlights of my journey with Lucifer, but from what I know the style does not matter so much as its contents, and that they are genuine and heartfelt. If you wish, I can share the poem I made with you, if you need the source material for inspiration or guidance."

"And....all that is left is seeing the Bonding Ritual to its end. You'll know if its been successful, as its....hard to miss, and I doubt you'll have trouble with it, so all that is left is to prepare for it, conduct it, and have faith your bond with the Pokémon will shine and strengthen."

With all that said, he dropped his arms to his side and took a deep breath, before looking at Nathan with a curious tilt of his head and said: "Do you understand all that, Nathan? We can go over it as many times as you wish, and I'm willing to assist you in the Ritual as I said, so don't hesitate to ask for my aid..."[/b]

I'd guess that's a point where Shiva would perk up, marking the first time she actually speaks up in the whole time since the discussion/meeting has started - she remains rather neutral however and keeps her arms crossed. "Doesn't have to be a poem, I guess... I'll do something different with my Pokemon of choice. Do whatever you feel matches your Pokemon."

She's already having the Apricorn Dust so she doesn't need Ven's morter. Maybe later if she'd decide to do a second ritual.

If anyone wants to watch, they're free to do so.  Nathan is going to ground up a Red Apricorn and a White Apricorn. There's two pokemon he really wants to show his appreciation to...

And the first pokemon he'll have out is Swiftfire.

No, Shiva is not interested in watching for a few reasons,  the biggest one is she thinking that this is something owner and Pokemon should do in private. She speaks up once more, still rather neutral. "I guess that ends this meeting then, please? Because.... If you excuse me, I'd rather go back to my own things."


(I really dislike to pester, but I'm still waiting for any results from this action of mine, and I said that I'd like to be in the discussion and follow my researches simultaneously, the latter in a flashforward, and I'm starting to feel forgotten... I'll also be preparing for bed rather soon as it's becoming late. If you've...been working on a result/reply for that @Iron, I'm sorry! ><; I'd just like to know whether she can find something about that particular plant by refining things before moving on.)

Swiftfire tosses her mane, wreathing you in the flames. They don't burn at all - one of the highest displays of trust a Rapidash can make.

It's good that you reminded me because I never saw that edit.

The same roll will carry over for the Kobra Tongue Fern, since you would have noticed any books like that while looking up Arrowroot.
