Ya know, even though I'm 99% certain that it's an accidental typo, I find it funny and ironic that Manectric's nickname is Marshmellow.  And totally believable that Terra would misspell the word IC too

One of my students is challenging the Champion tonight. Jo Boswe is her name, a real rising star of a trainer. I gave her her first Pokemon, a specially bred Furfrou. I know you aren't one for battling, but if you're interested you could catch the news coverage and get a glimpse of that Furfrou. That's all!"

Oh boy.  A Champion challenger.  That would definitely be an interesting NPC to meet eventually.

Maybe Nathan will also finally get to talk about the present day League members a little bit with the group?  That's something I've definitely been looking forward to.

He named her after them because those are her favorite food, not JUST for ironic pun. It was an unintended one until he found out later, but decided to keep the name the same because it was a joke that both he and her can appreciate. Melly is also called as she is because she's also sort of a living marshmallow: softy, fluffy, sweet, and having too much of them (her) will give you a rush like no tomorrow, or make you sick/tired!

Their's a story behind all of Terra's Pokémon, and he'd be happy to tell them to everyone if he gets the chance!

Terra would probably want to battle the challenger after meeting her, even if he would get totally wrecked and would know that was the outcome. He always wants to challenge himself to become greater than ever, and doesn't mind losing all to much at all so long as it isn't high stacks and/or he can learn from it

You can always just tell him direktly if he's interested, it's just that to me and Shiva personally it's not that valid to know already what kinds of people the Top4 are and what Types they maybe specialize. In the Games, I'm holding that knowledge off until it's time to face them!~ *shrugs*

If I could chime in, I ALWAYS like to know what the competition is capable of before meeting and facing off against them, so that I can better prepare for their challenges and optimize my chances at beating them. I don't like losing unless it has a purpose or it was a close lose, and I like knowing stuff, so let's hear about the Elite 4 and Champ!

As for Genie, the story behind her is [REDACTED].

I'll also counter argument Shiva by saying there's one member of the Elite 4 that I'm 99% sure will interest her at least partially.  No spoilers OOC, though!

And ideally, I want everyone in the group present to hear about this.  Partially so I can get to see the IC reactions to the surprises.
