If that meeting will happen at earliest in a few in-game days that can be done. I'm sorry, but I'm having a semi-strict plan to get as much I want to do now at the surface done as swift as possible... Alright?

Meetings don't take up any time, mechanically. You can talk whenever you feel like talking.

He named her after them because those are her favorite food, not JUST for ironic pun. It was an unintended one until he found out later, but decided to keep the name the same because it was a joke that both he and her can appreciate. Melly is also called as she is because she's also sort of a living marshmallow: softy, fluffy, sweet, and having too much of them (her) will give you a rush like no tomorrow, or make you sick/tired!

Their's a story behind all of Terra's Pokémon, and he'd be happy to tell them to everyone if he gets the chance!
Even the nicknames have nicknames.

That's good to know, thanks. But...I just don't enjoy it too much if my plans being semi-crossed because there's a meeting as seen in Atheneum, that happened a few times already but I've always kept silent for the sake of peace. Depends strongly on the current situation whether things will be favourable or not so much, I guess.... Humm.

Well, both our Pokémon last Round brutalized each other, but Melly came out on top with that REALLY lucky Fire Fang! She's getting a treat later for that by Terra, that's for sure!

Thought you were going for a Coil or trying to brute force your way through Melly with Giga Drain and KO her, so I wanted to at least lower their Defense for Terra's next Pokémon, and maybe do some chip damage with Fire Fang, but it went the exact opposite of what I expected. Still worked out, though!

Now you have a slight problem since we're battling with Official League rules, though: Melly's used four unique moves, and the only Electric type one is non-damaging.

That's actually a good thing in this case. Melly's attacking Electric Move is.....indiscriminately strong, to put it lightly. That, and between QA and Fire Fang, and the fact that his living blitzkrieg is on her last legs, she's 'fine'. Besides, with 5 STR backing your attacks, STAB and potential SE Damage are rendered nice bonuses rather than vital, like it was with Ventus!

To be honest, having low Vitality kinda sucks if you're facing opponents with high Strength. Having the stat affect both HP and Defense is really imbalanced for pokemon with low base HP.  Trying to setup is also a huge risk if your opponent doesn't do the same and has enough power to blow through your defenses.  That's really the main reason that those low power moves are so scary right now.

If I don't keep up some amount of pressure, I'm gonna fall behind really quickly. :/  I was really hoping Grid would have survived that QA so I could fire off four Fury Cutters to get some additional damage in.  And now I'm in the same situation with Snivy, too, thanks to that dual proc Fire Fang :/

True, but the price my character has to pay for is that against faster and tricky opponents he'll get easily tripped up, and they get more Crits and Actions to ignore his Vitality a bit in most cases. Being able to hit precisely and a lot can overwhelm every a steak tank like my character, so its not TOTALLY lopsided...

Terra can ease up if you want him to. He was to test you, but he doesn't want to crush you into dust unless you insist that be the case.

Oh and Lucky Chant should have ended by Round 5, right guys?

Might be a good thing.  Do you think Terra would ease up a little on his own now that he's seen how squishy Nathan is?

Nope.  Lasts the whole scene according to the book.  Great move, Lucky Chant.  (Not that Terra needs to Crit stuff anyways)
