"...you can...come in, Fluidity...gah, this is weird..."

A few seconds after you made that announcement, the Odd researcher swung the door right open and entered, strutting right up to you and began studying you with calm, keen interest and a smile on their face.

"Hmm...your body has developed a much more feminine quality from your gender change, yet your appearance hasn't been altered too sustaintially; its rather androgynous like my own, as a matter of fact. A rarity, but not unheard results among the female humans that I've tested, so all is well and you do not have need to worry!"

They then take a step backwards and clasped their hands together, closing their eyes and grinning at you with both the pride and joy of FINALLY achieving their weird yet somewhat noble goal.

"Now, all's that left for me to do is pull the data from the Gender Fluidizer and do a thorough analysis of your female body - with a scanner of mine, just to clarify! - and I'll be done with my research at long last! Your contribution will making sweeping changes throughout the world someday, and perhaps someday soon, so once again and from the bottom, thank you very much for you volunteering, good sir!"

After you....finish up with Fluidity (Feel free to continue that scene so long as you like!), they expediently and happily hand over the promised $27500 Poke, Rare Candy, and Gender Fluidizer, as well as her business card and arranged with you a time to conduct the agreed upon trade, before you two went your separate ways...for now! In particular, the chrome ray gun came with its own tiny cushioned steel case and thorough manual on how to properly use and maintain it, as well as pull data off it if that would be of some interest to you someday. Given how....complicated and delicate looking that thing was, such extras where greatly appreciated!

It is now Saturday Afternoon.

Encounter List Changes

- Lindworm has showed up, and from what you can tell he looks like he's....nervously looking for someone, tugging at his collar as his eyes furtively darting around from where he was surveying the crowds....
- Proton is now available to discuss the past days with, and this will not take an Encounter! 
- A Nurse Joy has come rushing out of the Pokémon Center, and is DEFINATELY looking more than a bit panicked AND frantic!

Arial has also completed his task for the Electrician, and has earned the following rewards:

- $ 1000 Poke
- A Super Magnet! (+ 1 STR for Steel and Electric Types; Can't be Knocked Off/Tricked/Stolen unless the User wants it to)
- A Magnezone! Has All the Level 0 Moves and ? Moves of the Evolutions, as well as Thunderbolt and Magnet Bomb! Loyalty and Happiness is 2.
Ability is Sturdy, which increases Defense by 1, nullifies all Lethal Damage/Extra Lethal Damage (Even after Fainted), Critical Hits, OHKOs, and Residual/Chip Damage like Hail/Bad Weather, Bad Terrain Effects, Hazard Effects, and all Burns but B3 and the Toxic/Poison Burn Combo. Rocky Helmet, Block Damage, and Rough Skin/Its Variants and Counterparts affect this Pokémon normally, as well as contact effects. 


Upon Sturdy activating, Pokémon has Total Death and Faint Resistance for the rest of the Round its activtated, which means that it has Perma Endure for the Round it activated. After the Round Ends when their Ability has Activated and they have taken 'Damage', they Faint. If they did not take Damage after the Ability activated, they remains conscious with 1 HP but all benefits from their ability nulled until the Encounter has passed and they have time to rest. 


Reviving them during the Encounter will reset the Ability, but Sturdy will just work as described normally in the Core Book instead until the Encounter has passed.

You are free to interact with his character however you wish, and I will respond as appropriate!

So, before I get to typing anything concerning what happens next, if Reiner happens to be rather androgynous looking in this form, would it be reasonable enough for her to pass as a guy still?  (As in, could she use the face camo combined with the lack of emphasis on the more...telling details to potentially pull off looking like his original self?)

Its pretty much as Fluidity says: In your current 'Form' you have a neutral face and a female body. Right now most people would assume you are a rather plain or handsome woman, but if you switched to a more masculine Face then everyone would start giving Reiner weirded, creeped out, or just plain confused looks at such a combo. If you wanted you could have the Face Camo come up with a Butter Face to basically get people to outright avoid due to Reiner having  serious case of the fuglies, but you'd still unmistakably have a woman's body. A tough grizzled woman's face would work wonders in keeping up 'tough guy' appearances and detract away from Reiner's femininity, but she'd still pass as a girl due to tha bod of hers.

The only way that Reiner could still pass as a male while in Clair/Female Form is doing one of four things: Wear REALLY baggy clothing and try to pass off as some sort of druggie/slacker/punk of some sort, get some tape or bandages to tightly wrap her breasts down and wear a big coat + hat + suit of some sort to give off a waif man/detective/business man vibe like that girl from Persona 4/Mitchel , try to rock the bishie/gay/Frosslad look and pass herself off as an EXTREMELY feminine guy after tying down her breast and wearing refined/tasteful/FABULOUS! clothing, or fully embrace your femininity and audacity and claim you are a cosplaying trap of some important female character in anime/game/IRL person. 

The last and second one in particular are the options that are most likely going to work for now, since he could easily/shamelessly just claim he's cosplaying as Clair/Some important woman figure, and the second one because he already has a neat hat and probably has bandages somewhere in his supplies/Inventory, but lacks the rest of the clothing (I think. You never really say what he's wearing besides its just plains cloths, so I assume he doesn't have a coat/the right kind of coat and/or suit on) .

Yeah, Reiner just usually leaves the disguise stuff to Petrel, so he doesn't really carry around different outfits...just the usual basic, plain clothes.  Okay, so basically, that plan's not going to work very well at the moment for what I had in mind...alright then...in that case...



Quite understandably, Reiner doesn't exactly want to be wandering around the city quite yet...so before she leaves that private room in the Center, she calls/walkies Arial while using the Face Camo so she can use his original voice to converse with the madman.

"Arial, I need you to get Riza to go get a GTH Beedrill from the warehouses.  I managed to strike a deal with a rather...odd character who happens to have a pokemon that would be very beneficial for us to have for our 'errand' later today, and they want a relatively tame giant bee in exchange for it.  I'm fairly certain it's going to be a lot stronger and easier to get than whatever Riza might end up finding."

It took a few seconds for Arial to respond over the walkie talkie, as they digested the change of his own plans and weighed whether it was really a good idea or not, before you heard a burst of crackling that could be interpreted as a 'Sigh' .

"Roger, Reiner. Rather she have a big old Bug/Steel type to fill out her team for our glowing green roudevous with DOOM, but whatever floats you boat... *Says the next sentences in a Dry tone* Anything other errand I can do for you, boss? Maybe lunch or a new pair of jeans? Over."

Your aggravated offer caused the madman to start sputtering over the line, as he didn't expect you to help him out with Durendal after you stone walling him last night.

"Wait, seriously?! Why....nope, never mind. Not going to screw my buddy out of their Evolution, so I'll just zip up my sass and hang it up for now! Thank ya, boss!"

After that, the madman sounded MUCH like his jolly, trouble making self before you put him through the wringer last night, though his tone was laced with caution and a bit of embarrassment. The former feeling no doubt due to feeling like he was still treading on thin ice with you, and the latter.....

"Ehehe…well, not the type of trouble we usually get up to on the job, if you catch my drift. Electrian's name is Nikola, by the way. The guy was up all in a knot about an overly boisterous Magneton that had somehow get into one of the Celadon's substations, and how it ended up cleaning the clocks of his own Pokémon despite them being specialized to handle electrical problems. He was looking desperate for a solution, so we ended up working out a deal that I'd handle his problem, and depending on how well I handled it I get more Poke out of it, and maybe a couple of Items for my trouble. "

A beat passed after that, before you head him cough politely and continued in a more Mareepish tone.

"Long story short, I ended up making friends with the floating magnet and maybeaccidentlyevolvingthemwithmyWiseKing'shelp, and we ended up sortatrashingatransformerintheprocess. *Pause, then coughs and continues* Nikola was fuming at that, but since I took care of the problem like I said he couldn't squelch on me. Did short charge me on Poke, but I got him to cough up a Pokeball for my new buddy Magnezone and let me salvage a Super Magnet out of the....uh...what was left of the transformer, so I'd say everything turned out positively well in the end! He he he.....!"

…Well, that story went better than you expected.

Sucking it up for the time being, though, she heads outside to check things out...

Arial, something's going on at the Center if the Nurse Joy that just ran out of it is any indication.  Meet Angelica there and figure out what's going on.  If there's something wrong at the Center, it needs to be resolved ASAP.

Angelica was equally fast to respond back to you, though her message was not as brief nor positive as the madman's : "I'm currently patrolling another part of Celadon about roughly 30 minutes away from the Center, sir, so I don't think I can make it time : - ( … I can radio in one of the officers in the area about the situation, though, and tell them to meet up with Arial if that's alright sir!!! Not sure that's a good idea with how......Arial is, but if he needs the help and can not act.....well, himself, then he'll get it without a problem! What are your orders, sir?"

The acolyte vigilante jumped a bit and had a markedly worried expression when you appeared out of the crowds and dropped his name, but he quickly regain his cool as his neutral stare swept up and down on you before he deigned to speak. 

"......No, but I know of him. Might I ask why you are seeking him out?"

Clearly, Lindworm rather...cautious ta'king with a mysterious stranger, but he's not outright dismissive or paranoid of you. Yet.
