Shiva and Terra, are you going to implement any of the handicaps suggested earlier?

Yes, we will. Most prominently Terra will only use max. twonot held-back moves that deal damage each Round but if free to buff/defuff/cause Status Alignments to heart's content while I can do whatever I want. That, and dear Milotic is the last Pokemon of his to be sent out. Ah, and we are both allowed to use more than four different moves on each Pokemon - that was his idea and I quite like it. I believe if both sides are fine with this, it doesn't break any official League Rules?

Further agreed conditions so that you have it all in one go:

Spoiler

- Full Team Double Battle until fainting.
- No switching, this includes Ally Switch.
- No usage of Items apart from the ones our Pokemon hold.
- No putting a foe to sleep, and no usage of Encore.
- No OHKO-moves, and no moves that raise Evasion.
- We both can prepare before battle, like in the last Introductory Battle.
- No spending of Will Points.

Ah, Two more things came to my mind, @Lord Windos : First up, the usage of Will Points. I'd actually argue for prohibiting the spending of these to soft-prevent the gaining of an obvious advantage for one side, and I'd rather save these Points for Gym and Boss Battles. Unless you have strong feelings to allow them here?
Second, you're fine with revealing our sent out Pokemon openly in the thread so that GM only has to roll out their Initiative like in the former Introdcutory Battle? I am, as we're not allowed to switch anyway and it saves time.

I'm fine with no Will Point being allowed, as it takes off the pressure of ensuring whether or not to use them, and this is supposed be a test/get to know you better battle, not a all out struggle!

However, I'm not so okay with the idea of being open with our Pokémon choice, as depending on whomever is the one is 'open' with their choices first that give the other player and advantage of being able to choose which Pokémon could counter them. We could rely on trust not to abuse that , but its a wee bit too tempting and smack of the Prisoner's Deliema than not....

Thats gonna be awesome. Shiva vs Terra. Magic vs Strengh. Magician vs Monk. Thats gonna be awesome! Cant wait to watch the battle. Its a shame Heart its not there to witness such magnificent battle...But the other reason to stay in Stair City is for training too.

I'm done with preparations, so let us send info to Iron whcih which two Pokemon open up the battle then, shall we? I'm not having TOO much hope to actually win unless getting incredibly lucky, but I'm looking forward in what direction this battle will go. C:

Important question here, @Iron: Does the +2 Defense buff from Hail/Sandstorm stack with Defense buffs from moves or not?




Spiritmon, you'll have to edit your orders a little either way if you want to try and optimize this.  You'll need to account for Gargryph having -1 Pain after using Substitute.  Sandstorm will outright fail (or be relying on a Luck Die, which you can't use a Will Point on) due to having no dice in its accuracy pool if you stick with your current orders.  Edit: Fixed now!

Should we just assume Nathan got it when Valder left, @Iron?

He left it with a note saying "To the group!" I don't see any problem with Nathan getting it.
