[Game] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure: Celadon City Vandel

With great care and fully Alert for glowing green danger of any kind, the madman gingerly makes his way towards the Corpse, Zeus and ESPECIALLY Melchior sticking close and balefully glaring at their surroundings. Up close....well, the body look like it was both badly mauled AND burnt to a crisp, the all too gruesome and tell tell signs of a victim of Nuclear Pokémon aggression. Arial has seen plenty of people and Pokémon back in similar or WORSE state back 'home' in Tandor and a few nights prior, so seeing the body doesn't unnerve him in the slightest.

From what you can see, his clothing is completely obliterated, but their is a small, blood stained satchel a half meter or so away from the Corspe. Retrieve it?

Arial have all the cautious of the world. He have lived long enough to know this smell to ambush. He did not aproach the satchel just yet. First, he grab a piece of rock and analyze the strengh and weigh. He try to find some sort of place to hide and give some quick orders to their pokemons. "Zeus. Melchior. This smell to a ambush. My insticts is in hight alert around here. Find a place to hide in the darkness. There might some places to hide around here. I will throw a rock close to the body and see what might be go out. The sound will may atract whatever is hiding close to the body hiding in the dark. When I give the signal, you two gonna use your most strongerst attacks: Zeus, use Tri-Attack four times, and Melchior use Leaf Blade (Hold Lethal Damage) one time and Giga Drain three times. Lets ambush whats gonna go." (This is a Ambush roll so I gonna raise my Stealth skill from 1 to 2). With that say, Arial throw the rock and wait the results with high alerts instincts as hiding too in the darkess (Alert Roll to notice anything).

Nothing happens when you throw a rock at the body, other than producing a semi-meaty/crispy *Bamp!* from it. You Pokémon understand you commands and dart off into the Long Grass to conceal themselves, though Melchoir was rather.....reluctant to carry out your orders at first until you gave him a bit more urging. After seeing you nearly die, your brother didn't want to leave your side short of being Fainted and recalled, or dying in your place, but his trust/Loyalty in you sees that he carries out your orders regardless of his feelings...

You DO, however, manage to pick up a lingering sense of......malevolence and vengefulness from the corpse, but its subdued for now. However, when you turned your gaze towards the Small Satchel, you felt a sudden and STRONG surge of Bitter, Resolved Protectiveness, and its previous passive hostility turning predatory and....waiting. 

Looks like if you try to take the Satchel and/or the Items in it, you'll trigger an confrontation with whatever is guard/watching over things. One that you feel will put you at a disadvantage.....

Leaving it alone will provoke no response (you are certain of this), but you'll waste this Micro Encounter worth of time doing so.

He grab the Nuclear Ball of Sekmet and summon his Nuclear Pokemon. "Sekmet my sister, time to use our diplomacy skills." Then Arial and Sekmet walk a bit, in a secure distance between the body and they. "Might Nuclear Guardian. I did not come here to cause trouble or harm you. I only come here to because there a certain items in that satchet that I need to survive in this Nuclear Facility." 

Then Arial points to Sekmet who is beside him. "Thats Xenoqueen once lived here in this nuclear place, and can confirm I did not come here to cause problems. Please, let us take at least some of these medic items from the satchet and body. If not possible, we will stay out of your way and follow our path. Just dont attack us or cause us suffer. We came here in peace." Say Arial with sincerity in his words, trying to be diplomatic.

When you summoned Sekmet, the....presence seems to grow ANGRY and even MORE malevolent, and you felt shiver trail up and down your spine. The Queen of Nuclear Green was clearly unnerved by this change in mood, backing off several paces until she was hiding right behind you, while your apex predator glare at the corpse and looked Alertly around for whatever was producing these odious feelings.

Diplomacy failed, and automatically at that! Looks like you'll either have to bite the bullet and try to take the Items, or put your Poke where you mouth is and just leave the corpse and whatever is guarding it/the Items BE.

Arial looking the entity became more angry with the appear of Sekmet, Arial came to a conclusion: If she stay, she would might day. With that say, Arial return Sekmet to the pokeball. "Sekmet! Return now!" With that decided, Sekmet return to the pokeball. Arial once again takes the pokeball of Zeus and send him again. "Zeus, quick! Use Iron Defense! Whatever it is, its want us dead! Tri-Attack three times against whatever is there if that thing attack us!" For the second time in the factory, Arial use the Mega Ring, making Melchior become once again Mega Metalynx! "Melchior! If that thing attack us, use Leaf Blade one time and Giga Drain three times if they attack!"

Then Arial talk to the strange presence. "We dont want to fight but we will if necessary! We need the Super Potions and the Anti-Radiation medicine! We are only trying to survive in this place! Please! We dont want to fight! Honestly! Believe me! What I need to do to show you can believe me?" Arial at all costs want to avoid a unecessary conflict, but they need that items. Whatever is inside that factory, is damn strong. They will need these items for the future confrotation. In case any of them get hurt, Potion will be used it.

"Need some assurance things will be okay if you leave, huh?  Well...how about we work together to clear out some of the more dangerous things living in the area, then?  Just cleared out a bunch of those aggressive, radioactive rodents that attacked us on sight.  Came out of it relatively unscathed, but I know there's going to be more stuff like that in here somewhere, and you definitely look like you know how to handle yourself in here.  You help me, I help you and your buds, we make it just a little safer in here, and then you can get past the quarantine line to boot...everyone wins, right?"

Finally, Giegeroach came to a decision. With its two left arms, they pointed towards the direction the Berry Fields were at from the Grove, and with its other two they began miming attacks at you. Next, they pull both pairs of arms close to their chest, then swept them outwards in front of them. Lastly, they point at you , then towards the Berry Fields once more, and at last itself and the Golden Apple, before nodding their head.

Reiner, I have managed to figure out what this Giegeroach is telling us- it wants you to go out to the Berry Fields and clear it of all the Hostile Pokémon that live and/or guard the area, so that their......collective can forage the place freely. If you accomplish this, they will join you freely and allow you to take the Golden Apple. Hm...sound like a good deal, but we do not know what lies in wait over there, besides its a big enough threat to warrant this bug to send you to take care of it. That, and it will take Time for us to do that, of which we have a limited amount of. Ultimately, the choice is up to you, but if you want my opinion, take their deal. A Golden Apple is highly valuable, and a allied Giegeroach would be useful in combating the various Nuclear Pokémon that live here. We can make up for lost Time in one way or another.'

Well, that went rather well, all things considered.  Now to wait and see how Lindworm fared, and how Arial deals with that restless, angry spirit...
