Gym Leader Tanuki vs Nathan Round 4
"That's right. Noctowl, start with a Hypnosis! Then your first unique attack, whether it's bedtime or not!"
Hypnosis 1
12 Allure -4 actions -4 accuracy = 4d6
(4)(6)(2)(6) - 3 successes
Evade 1
(1)(2)(6)(1)(3)(3)(6) - 1 successes.
Let's test the new rules as Castform sinks lower in the sky, really feeling that rock type, especially in her eyelids...
Steel Wing 2
12 Brawl - 5 actions -1 acc= 7=6d6
(5)(2)(2)(4)(3)(4)
3 Str + 3 power -5 vit = 1d6+1
(2) Castform takes 1 dmg 4/6hp -1 pain.
CD: (5)
Insight 2: (4)(4)(2) 2 successes.
"Again! And Again!"
Steel Wing 3
(5)(1)(6)(4)(2)
(3) Castform takes 1 dmg, but eats the Sitrus Berry! 6/6hp
CD: (6) +1 Defense for Noctowl! Her broad wings become permanently steel-tipped!
Insight 3: (3)(1)(2) - 2 successes.
Steel Wing 4
(6)(4)(3)(5)
(6) Castform takes 2 dmg 5/7hp -1 pain
Insight 4: (5)(4)(4) Castform woke up!
Noctowl takes 1 dmg from the storm. 9/10hp.

Peter Round 3
Rollout 1/2/3
(5)(3)(5)(5)(1)(3)
(3)(3)(4)(3)(1)
(5)(3)(2)(6) Three hits!
(2)+2 , (3) +2 , (6) +2 Butterfree takes 7 dmg! 1/8hp -3 pain.
Poisonpowder 1 on Gargryph
Not enough dice! "Oh no! Butterfree, you're in big trouble now!"
Arbok is already moving to use a Dark-type move on the ghostly sentinel.
Crunch 1 on Golett - just two actions thanks to paralysis
(4)(2)(2)(5)
(5)(1) Golett takes 2 dmg 5/7hp -1 pain
CD: (2)
Substitute 1
(3)(4)(2)(1) (Fight and Stealth don't go up, but Dex does, so you should really only use 4 actions this round given Pain.)
Gargryph takes 2 dmg and hides behind a Substitute
"You sure have a lot of rare Pokemon, Heart! That's something I'd like to work on for myself."
Confusion 2
(4)(2)
(1) No damage for the Substitute. Gargryph's Substitute is a perfect exemplar, since the actual Pokemon doesn't move much ever.
Crunch 2
(1)(1)(4) The Snake Eyes strike again!
Traits seems to include Attributes/their counterpart, Skills, and Specialties. Gargryph has a boost to Str, Dex, Defense, and Insight (I'm cool with that ruling, since Insight is akin to Special in many ways.)
Stored Power 2
(5)(2)(5)
4* Str + 1power + 4 increases -3 vit = 6d6
(5)(3)(5)(5)(1)(1) Butterfree faints!
Gargryph rebuilds 1hp
Stored Power 3
(3)(2)(5)
(5)(5)(6)(4)(4)(6) wowza. Arbok takes 6 dmg 4/14hp. -2 pain.
Stored Power 4
(2)(3) Miss.
Gargryph rebuilds to full HP
Sandstorm deals 1 dmg to Arbok, 3/14hp.
Heart thanks the trainer. "Thank you my friend. Its kinda my job to find and befriend as many types of Pokemon. Both rare and common. I a Pokemon Rare Collector. I have travel for a long travel in many regions in my life: From the beautiful buildings of Kalos to the deserts of Hoen to find the mysterious Mirage Tower. From the forests of Johto to dangerous caverns of Mt. Sentry. I have meet many types of Pokemon. Some unique and rare!"
"And most of all, I discovered at least a bit what kind of strength the Earthpower is capable. Earthpower is the greatest source of power to all Pokemon kind. Even for a few humans. From the lowest Pokemon, to the greatest. From the weakest move like a Ratatat Bite, to the most powerful as a Gyarados Hyper Beam. Its a power it is around us..."
"I will give a advice from someone who is in this journey for a long time: Sometimes is cool make your own journey alone. But it is nothing compared as make a journey with companions or even friends. You may sometimes fight against them and even say goodbye when they journey or yours end, but the memories you most hold dear is what truly matters. Someone only truly dies when that memory is forgot. Never forget that."
With that said Heart talk once again. "Heh, I sorry. I get myself babbling myself about this. I beg your pardon." Heart then talk again to his Gargoyle Pokemon. "Gargryph, you have doing a amazing job until now. If you want rest a bit I will let you return to the pokeball. Is your substitute stay here when you return to the pokeball?"
Mechanics: Ask if Gargryph want to rest and bring Typhon to the battlefield. And if the decoy stay on the field when return.
+1 XP for spreading the Earthpower!
"Don't apologize. Even we young trainers know there's more to being a trainer than Pokeballs and moves. I could feel it from the first moment I looked in another trainer's eyes."
I meant to give +1 Loyalty to Gargryph before that fight started, and with that in mind, he'd be happy to stay out.
If Heart wants to switch, that would be fine but the Substitute will not protect Typhon.
Heart was both happy and satisfy to see the Gargryph with more confident and will to fight. "In that case Gargryph, I must answear your will with same strengh! Gargryph and Golett gonna stay. Do your best you two!"
And Peter sends out a Magnemite! (5) + 7 = 12 Going first.
With that, Heart bring the next session of orders. "Lets focus here in finish this battle! Golett, use Shadow Punch against Arbok! If Arbok have fainted, focus your attacks on Magnemite with Shadow Punch too! 3x against him! Gargryph! Use Stored Power against Magnemite! 3x!"
Shadow Punch Accuracy: Dex (4) + Fight (3) + Brawl (3) - Pain (1) - Actions (4/5/6/7) = 5d6/4d6/3d6/2d6
Damage: Power (2) + STR (3) + STAB (1) + Iron First (1) = 7d6
Effect: First Based (Then I supore this attack go first?). Never Fail.
Stored Power: Dex (4) + Fight (3) + Canalize (3) - Paralyze (2) - Actions (3/4/5) = 5d6/4d6/3d6
Damage: Power (1) + STR (*4) + 4 Increases - NE (1) = 9d6-1
Effect: Already know.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

Terra Introductory Battle vs Shiva
Heal Block fades. Azu takes 1 dmg.
Neither Shiva seems to be discouraged too much by several of her Pokemon havng bitten the dust in this fight so far nor does Azu display any discomfort or fear after having recovered from the Spikes, in fact the blue fae mouse is strenghtening her posture, ready to pounce. With Master's encouragement, she feels bold enough to face that steely bug even! It's rather sweet to see how much she grown since she has been given to Shiva as a tiny and sad Azurill. "If we believe in it, we're increasing our chances to make it, so let us do it, Azu? You see how that Forretress is panting and its shell threathens to crack? If your battle partner doesn't make it to defeat it, please do so with a well placed Bubble Beam, otherwise show that big bulky Fighting Type what a fairy can do with your newest move, will you? Go for it, dear one!~"
Gust 1
(5)(3)(4)(2)(3)(6) It's a hit - but not on Basteele, on Shiranui, who has leapt to provide cover for the steely bug! As a much broader Pokemon he's offering as much cover as possible - 3 dice absorbed by Shiranui.
(5) +1 Shiranui takes 2 dmg 3/12 hp -2 pain.
Bubble Beam 1
(2)(1)(5)(1)(6)(5)
(3)(4) Shiranui takes 1 dmg 2/12hp -2 pain.
Once again he absorbs the attack, his body quivering.
Shiranui nods to Terra. Grimly. This will be just like they practiced...hopefully.
He moves another step to fully cover Basteele. And then everything goes nuts.
The grass is shredded to leave scorch marks and bare earth. A deafening roar. Shards of metal going everywhere, most of them into Shiranui. Forretress shrunken in on itself, its eyes no longer visible, and big craters in its shell.
Explosion 1
(6)(5)(5)(1)(4)(2)
(4)(2)(4)(6)(6)(1) (3)(2)(4)(2) (5)
Tropius takes 6 nonlethal dmg and faints.
Azumarill takes 6 nonlethal dmg 2/9hp -2 pain.
Forretress faints, and in its confusion (Insight -2 = 0) it deals 1 Lethal damage to itself. It's still smoking.
Shiranui's rubbery body absorbs most of the blast, causing the remnant to be nonlethal and relatively safe. He's designed for this kind of thing. But as Shiranui faints and rolls over, Terra sees a big chunk of metal sticking from Shiranui's belly. Shiranui takes 1 point of lethal damage.
The trainers are fine, I'm sure Terra wouldn't order the attack until all humans are at a safe distance away.
(For Terra's information, there's no risk of accidentally going Lethal unless the Pokemon is confused or other very unusual circumstances are in play).
Azumarill stands alone on the battlefield, looking deafened.

Round 5 is the final round of Sandstorm! Go! Maybe this next round will go a little better...hopefully.

Gym Leader Tanuki vs Nathan Round 5
"We'll skip Hypnosis this time! Your steely wings can take whatever she throws at you! Double time!" ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Steel Wing 1
12 Brawl -5 actions = 7d6
(6)(3)(4)(4)(4)(5)(2) - critical hit.
(4)(5)(1) Castform takes 3 dmg 2/7hp -2 pain
Weather Ball 1
(4)(4)(6)(4)(4) Critical hit! Castform launches this Weather Ball like it's nothing, like she's just copying the skill of Noctowl.
(6)(3)(1)(6)(2)(5)(5) Noctowl takes 5 dmg and eats her own Sitrus Berry. 7/10hp, -1 pain?
(included +1 def from Steel Wing)
Steel Wing 2
(5)(3)(2)(4)(3)(2)
(6) Castform takes 2 dmg and faints. Noctowl catches the baby Pokemon before it hits the ground and bears it over to Nathan, not even squinting against the fierce sandstorm.
"Good job, little one, you did great against a much bigger Pokemon! Was that your first battle?" (=^・ω・^=)
Noctowl takes 1 Sandstorm damage 6/10. Then the sand falls to the ground again.
Sticky Web stays.

"Technically speaking, it's her second one, actually. She beat a Kimono Girl's Jolteon in her first one. Using nothing but Tackle. She's still got a lot of growing to do, but she's doing great. She'll eventually be using Sunlight to her advantage at the rate she's growing. Maybe some Hail, too. Not sure about Rain yet."
Next comes... Orthros, his Flash Ball entrance as terrifying as ever, and the friendly doggy inside completely contradicting it! Where's he land in the initiative? He's got a 50% chance to outspeed, after all!

Nathan chuckles. "He's a lot friendlier than he looks, I assure you. That certainly helps a lot, I can say that much."
*bark!* *wag wag*
"Careful, boy, that Noctowl is pretty dangerous. Knows Hypnosis. Careful with that. We could lose this pretty easily if you were to fall asleep."
*bark!* It's quite a confident sounding bark, that's for sure!
Of course, Tanuki doesn't necessarily know Orthros has Insomnia for his Ability, so let's see if she falls for the bluff...
"Alright then, boy, let's show them what you can do! Go get 'em!"
Extrasensory x4!
Acc: 11 - 4/5/6/7 = 7/6/5/4 D6
Damage: 3 + 4 + STAB - 4* = 4 D6
