Michael sits, interested to learn what his relationship with this new gentleman will be like.

For awhile, Terra simply remains silent as he takes in the sights and smells of mother nature, eyes closed and hands in lap, looking content and right at home in these fields. Then, without opening he eyes, he began to calmly speaking to the mushroom of champeons.

"Mikey...what do you think of me? Of being my partner now, instead of with Ventus, the one who cared and raised you into the tough fighter you are now? You fought hard and....diligently in our two fights together, so I know you respect my leadership. ...But I don't know what your.....opinion of me is, or the new path of life you are on. ...Don't have to answer, but I would like to know more about you and your.....perspective, and become a good friend and partner to you. That is all."

The simple monk then lapsed into silence, and let the kick boxing shroom ponder his questions and answer them in their own way. He's not good at communicating with people, but he likes to think he's good at understanding Pokémon after all these years of his rough living/training in the wilds.

Michael gives Terra a punch, giving Terra plenty of time to block it with a boxer's stance. Then he picks up a big rock nearby and looks at Terra for him to do the same. Then he kicks high into the air, much higher than Terra can get of course. 

Terra's Insight is pretty low, so he's not sure what the point of all this is exactly, but it seems relatively positive.

(Okay, thanks to Windos tips I make my choices)

First, Heart trade Starly for the young Whismur.
Second, he trade Vullaby for Silk Scarf and Grimer (if possible)
And third, he trade Crustle for the $6500, the Elemental Punchs TMs and the Giga Drain and Iron Tail TMs.

Is that okay?

Windos is correct. You get one option from each bolded Pokemon's list. You could get Whismur, Silk Scarf, and the Elemental Punches, for example.

In that case, I will get these trades:

Starly for Spinarak.
Vullaby for Silf Scarf.
And Crustle for the Elemental Punchs.

Spinarak comes from a Bug Catcher of about 16 years old.
The Silk Scarf comes from a gal wearing too much eyeshadow. She hands over the Scarf with distaste.
Crustle goes to a man with a Hitmonchan who says he likes to use his punches to chip away at flaking rock formations.

Michael gives Terra a punch, giving Terra plenty of time to block it with a boxer's stance. Then he picks up a big rock nearby and looks at Terra for him to do the same. Then he kicks high into the air, much higher than Terra can get of course. 

Terra's Insight is pretty low, so he's not sure what the point of all this is exactly, but it seems relatively positive.

Indeed he (and me IRL!) doesn't really understand the deeper implication of the puissant mushroom's demonstrations, but he does try to puzzle things out the best he can.

"*Has a curios expression* ...Does that mean you are happy to fight with me, and the chance to get stronger?"

"What, you felt something weird, young lady? Something weird...in time? All my clocks yesterday received the SAME error in their oscillators. Now, an oscillator is the heart of a clock, vibrating back and forth, making all other components move at the right speed! Some of my most sensitive oscillators, like the one made from Stantler horn, are permanently changed. It was just after you stopped by with the stopwatch, too. Very, very strange. Some of these clocks are, are, are showing more ticks than the other. Like they experienced extra time...But I think that's impossible. Could your stopwatch be the cause??"

At first, Shiva seems greatly confused over the clockmaker's reaction and words and couldn't help but to stare at them with a big BIG figurative question mark floating above her head. They didn't seem to have noticed these lurches, didn't see how various other boots switched places with their own, all they've mentioned was how the clocks suffered some damage in thei oscillators. How curious.... But how strange as well.

Next, she catches herself again as they soft-suspected HER for that error, causing her to flinch a little at the spot and raising her open hands in defense. "...No, I'm actually sure that the pocket watch I've showed you isn't the cause for that. It can't be, nothing like that has happened yet since I've been gifted it weeks ago." She relaxes a little after emphasizing that, but only looks more worried now. "So, please tell me:That means you haven't seen, felt or noticed anything but that error on the oscillators, is that correct?"

This was just weird and gave her soft-paranoia about these lurches a boost, how could they not have seen, noticed or.......felt....


.....Eventually it hits her mind without mercy.

With the trades made (and all the items resting in the bag), Heart makes his way to meet Nathan. Heart also makes a quick changes: He changes Typhon for Percival, Viktor in the place of Beldum Egg and Rose in the place of Larvesta. Heart currently part is:

Viktor, Rose, Percival, Caesar, Gargryph and Mudkip. With that he go foward to meet Nathan.

Nathan, lets go meet in the Pokemon Center. I will await you in the entrance.

No response from Nathan this time, because he's there in a flash!  Since Nathan took an hour or two to wait for Gallade and Orthros to heal, Heart probably got his trades done during that time period, and then Nathan Teleported after he got Heart's message!

Upon arriving, he's immediately looking around for Heart with Gallade in front of the GPC.  He waves when one of them spots the collector!  "Hey!"

The two of them approach Heart very quickly and fluidly.  If Terra thought Gallade was fast previously during his battle with Nathan after Steadfast was triggered...well, now Nathan and the pokemon he trains are like that all the time.

That probably leaves quite an impression on anyone who sees it.  Very, very few trainers are that Dexterous.

"Well, it's real convenient that we're meeting here.  Let's head to the park, yeah?  Need some target practice, and an item of yours to make this work."

He doesn't explain what exactly he's trying to do quite yet, notably. (but make sure Heart has the Amulet Coin on hand, Spirit!)

Once at the park, Nathan brings out Swiftfire!  He gives her an appreciative hug, too.

Then he turns to face Heart and states what his idea was.  "Well, you know that Swiftfire knows Pay Day.  And you have an Amulet Coin, right?  Swiftfire's about ready to plink some more metal off of random stuff and generate some money, so need I say more?  I get $1000 worth of valuable metals, and you get the same.  She can do this once every week if you hadn't noticed, provided she's spent some decent time outside of the PC.  Figured we might as well try to get the most out of it by giving her an Amulet Coin before I let her loose."
