Weather Report: Rain, all day today and for the rest of the weekend.

No one has done anything too crazy the last couple days, so you can each gain 1 Will point.

(Dont forget the effect of the Mint Tea Punch who restore everyone Will point!)

"Well guys. I would like to join with you in that Cave adventure. Gonna challenge after that. Cant say no with the chance in find a Meowth in that cave. And Meowth know Payday, and with my Amulet Coin, its gonna be even better to get more money to buy everything we will need to our adventure. Count with me in!"

The simple monk was mildly surprised but quietly pleased with the sudden reality that everyone was joining up to go explore Ancestor Cave, crossing his arms and nodding with an air of satisfaction and content surrounding him. While it seemed only he would be directly assisting Nathan with his task, he was none the less glad because they all were going to be in the same place together, doing more or less the same thing. That made doing his own duty exponentially easier, and gave him peace of mind knowing the group was.....well, grouped with each other and under his aegis. It was an unexpected convenience, but it was greatly appreciated by him all the same! 

Plus, it was just nice for everyone to be together, you know?

Heart's declaration to join wasn't the only thing they said that caught Terra's interest, as they brought up what sounded like a very interesting Pokémon he's never heard of before, and a rare, BEYOND valuable Item...

"Meowth? What type of Pokémon is that? And 'Pay Day?' Never heard of both before....but sounds interesting. Maybe I will get one, if it can make Poke. *Nods* Would be useful. *Beat* …And you have a Amulet Coin? Have heard of it before. Can somehow double money someone makes. Very rare....and very good. *Beat* Where did you get it?"

Well, things have gotten more interesting for the mountainous man!

(Oh and yes, Tanzagnuki can join Heart for Berry Hunting, along with Ambipoom, if Shiva and Heart want! They (Tanuki) will be holding a Sitrus Berry to hopefully find more of them, and he'll get his back from them after they are done searching for berries. )

They a little mischieve species, but they do great companions when you go along with they independent style. They pretty nice and cool to have company. The Pay Day to put in simple its a super special move who can make more money you get in certain moments when you use, like battles."

Heart search his bag and show Terra the Amulet Coin with the King engrave in the front. "Pretty neat huh? I get that item when we were in our journey to Mt. Sentry in the Aetheum. Its not only a Amulet Coin, but a Amulet Coin from the Secret Library itself! A nice reward if you ask me. If you need some money my friend, I can give you for a while to get you money when we find a Meowth for you."

Heart quick stand up and decided to buy some items before go to Mt. Sentry: 3 Pokeballs and 1 Great Ball (1200 Pokedollars in total). Heart also take a look in the Egg. It might takes some time until the Egg finally hach. He take the egg and put in his party. Heart team: Beldum Egg, Patrat, Ambipom, Larvesta (to help hatch the egg), Viktor and Hypno (as a gift Heart gave the Wide Lens to Hypno have more accuracy in his moves like Hypnosis). He meet everyone in the Cave with Nathan waiting everyone. "Sure thing Nats. If we find those Unow, we gonna catch. But my priority gonna be the Meowth. But count with me in that hunt!"

Hypno really likes the Lens, and he's enjoying the gloomy weather, too. Hypno gains 1 Happiness

(Excelent! Also, is Heart recover his Will Points? I still have only have 5. Or it is the gain of Will Points recover some Will? 5 to 7 correct?)

Will points never "recover" like HP, they are only "gained" like Happiness. So you now have 7.

...aaaand Nathan's somewhat surprised again.  Aside from Alder, Wallace is probably the most vocal about being Champion given how much he loves the spotlight.  And the spotlight certainly loves him, too!  Nathan snaps himself out of his stupor rather quickly though and politely 'shuts his trap' on the matter for the time being.


On the matter of Melly:  "...oh.  That kind of overeager.  I see..."  And that's all Nathan has to say on that.  I don't think more elaboration is necessary in the case of this one.

On the matter of May: Nathan doesn't actually have much more to say on this topic either for the time being.  Not really the time or place for such long stories.  There is a moment where Nathan looks like he's about to say more...but again, he politely 'shuts his trap' for the time being.  Talking about Terra and his pokemon right now, after all, not Hoenn's most famous people!

So, different topic time!

(Keep in mind that Terra was living a hermit's/monks life and was totally disinterested in the League Challenge before coming to Cheshire, so him not being on the up and up on who's important/famous in that circuit shouldn't be THAT surprising to Nathan. Oh well, moving on!)

Terra simply solemnly nodded back to Nathan, ending that line of discussion about Melly's performance. The less said about it, the less time he can remain embarrassed about it. Oh [i]Melly[/i]….

He doesn't inquire further about them suddenly calming up, but does shoot them a faintly curious look. If that was the end of the conversation, so be it, but it looked like they wanted to say more...

The living, breathing marvel tilted his head at Nathan, before smiling and nodding. He's had people record his appearance in a myriad amount of ways and never minded at all (quite the opposite, really!), so letting the boy sketch him was perfectly acceptable. Preferably while's he's in a pool of water or continuously wetted/moisten, but he could stand being drawn 'dry' too for some length of time.

Okay, so everyone wants to borrow some of Nathan's pokeballs...got it.  So, in that case, Nathan will purchase another $1000 worth of red pokeballs before we set out for Ancestor Cave (which is another 6 since there's a sale going on).  He'll loan Terra, Shiva, and Heart 2 each.  Means Nathan will likely be keeping all 5 reward Great Balls for himself since he's spending so much on pokeballs today, but we'll see how things go from here.

As for Shiva's question about what kind of Unown live in Ancestor Cave...Nathan shrugs.  "Not sure.  Laurelin didn't say.  If I had to guess, though, I'd say they're most likely Modern Unown."

Well then, I think we're just about ready to get this sidequest started!

(Fine with me, as Terra just wants to help Nathan out, and was already rewarded with a couple of Pokeballs from him earlier. That, and if things go well Terra will be getting a Pokémon that will literally make him money! Cha ching!)

If Tropius uses them with Natural Gift, he'll blast a foe with the force of a dragon! I guess with Vulpix's Powder Snow, I could create frozen ones on my own as well while being in town?

...alright.  Ask Valder if he's feeling the lurches too.  He went about his own business soon after we met Terra.  Seems the five of us and our pokemon might be the only ones who are experiencing this if I had to venture a guess...Terra doesn't seem to be noticing the lurches at all, but Shiva, Heart, and Gallade all have.  I think it might be tied to visiting that place*.  Guess my original hypothesis of it being tied to the tunnels rearranging themselves wasn't accurate at all...

Shiva also said she was in contact with a clockmaker of some kind who was going to ask Professor Laurelin about it as well, if I remember correctly...I'm not sure if they'll be able to turn up much, though.

(No mate, you currently have 7 until you use and/or gain more. You don't permanently have 7, unless you habitually spend Will Points to remain at that amount.)

You journey an hour north/northwest, avoiding the Skull Ruins. As you approach the promised location of the Ancestor Cave, set into the Great Divide, you start seeing crumbled Sarimanok statues. Each is painted with one large eye instead of the two normal human eyes he had in life.

Nathan knows Sarimanok marked locations that were important to him in this way. The eye is supposed to warn intruders that there are consequences for their intrusion..."the King always knows!"

The entrance to the small, nondescript cave looks like nothing special. Just a craggy hole in the rock, about head high. However, a smooth apron in front of the entrance has been scooped out by a meteorite long ago. There are little flashes of nickel and meteoric superconductor in the ground, but mostly it has all eroded long, long ago. Predictably, the holographic Deyo flowers grow around it, but sparsely.


Ten yards above the cave entrance is a multi-forked little waterfall. Each individual stream is small and muddy, but there are half a dozen separate streams streamin' down the mountainside. Their source is a broad ledge, which seems to be filled with water and perhaps a small spring. You can see a Starmie up there, perched on a salt boulder, holding court with a small clan of Staryu. Though they are in the water, they stand on two legs at a time and are all facing Starmie, blinking their lights in the dawn. Starmie glows with the same color.

Decorating this entire area, you see little crafts made from Staryu limbs cracked and fused together into geometric shapes, usually set quite firmly into the ground.

Where the streams meet the ground is a crusting of salt. Must be mineral salt in the rock here.

The very moment Shiva, feeling a little better by now due to Lapis L.'s presence and all that talking about Contests, made unexpected eye contact with one of these crumbled statues of Chresire's greatest warlord (and gasped and flinched audibly), she knew that this place was....special. Meaningful. It was a good decision to join in that trip to the cave, unspoken thanks for the offer go to Nathan as she seems to have lost her voice from simply watching these statues.

They worry her. That whole cave, the thought of entering it made her uncomfortable. Fear arises, yet also a sense of importance? Yes, that'd decribe it... Though does gazing at these statues, into that single Eye, fill her with rage as well like that one Helix Nebula was depicted as in a vision of Gothy? Can she pick up anythingelse around here that might be noteable?

Naturally Lilith is summoned from her painted Premier Ball in an instant, Shiva wasn't sure whether she called her out intuitively and automatically or whether Lilith summoned herself; but now the gothloli Pokemon is with her, Raphael and Tanuki beneath the umbrella Shiva still held. "Lilith.... Hello. Please look at these", she tells her without averting her gaze from the statues she pointed to, "That Single Eye... It's familiar, isn't it....?"

Frankly, Shiva's scared of entering the cave now, steps a little closer to Terra in the hope of protection even, looks up to him from the side with a glance of 'Please don't go away...' While doing so, something bitterly familiar catches her eye: DEYO FLOWERS. These... What them growing here in a small number meant Shiva was aware of. What the Starmie and Staryu were doing up there on top of the waterfall she was either, she prefered to leave them alone and would ask the other to do the same to not disturb them in their...'communication'.

Kneeing down, she stares at these unique flowers, being highly undisclosed. She knew what these plants caused to the party... But she hasn't forgotten her initiate fascination for these. Ventus would never know if she.... But was it safe to pluck one to take along?
