(And that is a bad thing how...? Well, I know Shiva rather do things friendly , but Fainting either one and then keeping them together after catching them wouldn't be that much of a cardinal sin, yes? If you rather go pure Mercy Route on them and are willing to accept not getting them if that fails, though, power to you!)

(How high on the wall is the nook with Umbreon-Dad and young Eevee, can Shiva look into it comfortably or is she unable to reach it?)

It's up an easy jump for a quadruped, about waist height on you.

Now you can see a dozen murals on the cave walls, as well as dozens of Pokemon! Most are Unown, two streaming rainbows of the tiny forms from one side of the cave to the other and back again like a Delta Onix, twisting around each other.

Two Duosion were poised to spring on you, but they're now blinded and stumbling around. Curious Solosis hop over around the cave and stick to the walls - about half a dozen of them.

There are two nooks in the back, carved by Pokemon and lined with moss and Deyo. In one, a pitch-black male Umbreon is silhouetted in the Flash, crouching over a young Eevee. It's trembling from that blast of light. In the other nook is a family of Meowth; they look suitably cowed by Flash.

Finally, ANOTHER Primal Bulbasaur stands just outside the circle of Delphox's light, completely unfazed by the legendary Flash.

A few objects glitter in the light, too.

Being warned by the incoming FLASH, Shiva and her Pokemon had enough time to cover their eyes, but she still couldn't help but to feel a little dazzed about all being so...BRIGHT all of a sudden when she uncovers them again and looks around. Well, the advantage was clear, all's visible now! Still, the worry within her didn't case but only increased, wondering whether it was the right thing to do.... 'The King always knows'.

Carefully and with a hint of surrender, she walks on, all while observing the inner of the cave. It indeed doesn't look to big, and from the look of it the bright light has neatly prevented these two Duosis from jumping at them in the protection of the darkness. Shiva was painfully sure though that SOMETHING got attected negatively by the light, she just can't shake that thought off.

She was just mustering these murals on one side of the wall with Delphox's enlighted basswood stick in her hand, as this thought turned out more than true when FEAR and the feeling of BEING STARTLED hit her from very close to her, on second glance a will to protect became apparent. Gasping a little over that sensation she stumbled back two steps, trying desperately to find the source of it and kindly asking Nathan and Ray to stay a little back from the wall the spotted nooks were carved in. "It's as I believed it would, the flash startled some Pokemon calling this their home. Please leave them alone, don't come near them... I.... Leave them to me." She swiftly looks over to Delphox, hand him his toch back. "For you, please pack it away to not cause the wild Pokemon more distress by carrying an open flame. Cast a calming Lucky Chant over the place also - try to express this way that we're coming in peace. Or, that at least I do so. Raphael - concentrate on his singing, soak some the calming feeling in the chant up and use it to power up your own serene tranquility a little. I know you can do that - just do the same you did when soothing my nerves yesterday, imagine cheering someone up - in this case though, we need to calm some Pokemon."

(If an Accuracy Roll is needed for the Lucky Chant, it's 4 Dext + 2 Fight + 3 Perform = 9d6.)

While the magical fox and archangel so that, Shiva eagerly looks around while frowning, cconcentration now shifted to finding who's reacted so fearfully to the light. Eventually, her senses pointed her to the nook around wist height, a short glance was enough to determine that a young Eevee was trembling in there and seeking protection of the other Pokemon with it, a fully grown and precious Umbreon. Shiva's instantly fascinated by the small family, smiling to herself in a dear way.

She takes some step back from the nook though, then kneeing down and beckoning Raphael to her. He nods after having received some whispered orders from the fae enthusiast, and with a hand gesture as a cue he made tiny tiny steps towards the nook with Eevee and Umbreon, cooing calmly all the time and with MAX. Serene Grace surrounding him. Stopping one step before the nook, he doesn't do much more than slowly placing the Deyo Flower from the glass Shiva has given him earlier into the entrance of it as a manner of 'I won't do you anything!', telling the foxes in coos and growls that his Master is very sorry for having startled them, and that the bright light didn't come from her. She's not here to harm them or drag them away.

Of course Shiva can't understand Raphael's growling and cooing, but she asked him to let them know about this. She waits there in a kneeing position some steps away, just watching things and having Raphael as the soothing archangel calm any initial fears.

Gothitelle can remain out of her Ball and do her own thing here, same with Tanuki. I'd bet the latter would be interested in some of these mentioned glittering things!~

The stream of Unown doesn't react as Shiva passes beneath them.

She let out an impercible sigh of relief when having crossed the path underneath them without them reacting, she has kept a careful eye on the stream of tiny Unknown as she has done so.

If there wouldn't be trembling and fearful Pokemon, she would pay more attention to them or the murals - her priority though was calming the worried Eevee and its Umbreon-Dad, interacting with them on a friendly base if all goes well.

The chant of her magical fox serves to soothe her fears of the cave as well to a some good degree, she pays attention how Eevee and Umbreon react to it and Raphael offering peace and apologies to them additionally while keeping her distance for now. (As explained in post above)

The Egg containing an Eevee Shiva's carrying remains packed away for now - drawing it to fast may cause them to mistrust her, but the unmistakable thought of her owning a female Umbreon at home to literally complete the family comes to her. Though dragging these two away from here - this was somethings Shiva probably is unable to bring herself to do.

Nathan shrugs.  "Not here to purposely scare anyone.  Just makin' sure we weren't attacked on the way in.  It's gonna be a little while before those Duosion can properly see again.  FLASH is literally blinding if you get hit by the full force of it.  Temporarily, thankfully, but still blinding."

Nathan looks around the cave...wait a sec, is that...?

...yup, it's another Primal Bulbasaur.

...aaaannnnd Shiva's gone...hmmmm...

Well, Nathan turns to Terra and Heart in that case (@Lord Windos and @Spiritmon).  "5 of those Unown.  That's all I need to catch for Professor Laurelin to complete that mission.  She also asked if I could catch her a Primal Bulbasaur without fainting it, though (which is mostly only said for Heart's benefit), and there happens to be one right over there.  Only have to do one of those tasks to get my Claw Fossil revived, but hey, being an overachiever is an option too, I guess, and there are some Ultra Balls in it for me if I bring her the rocky 'saur.  If you guys want to get started on helping me with those Unown, go right on ahead.  Just...be careful if you do.  Unown are...unpredictable.  They're hard to read, and they only move they know is Hidden Power (which is said mostly for Terra's benefit).  Individually, they're not that difficult to deal with.  In large groups, though...anything could happen.  If you do go after them without waiting for me and/or Shiva, try to lure a smaller group away from the rest, and do your best to not anger all of the Unown in this cave."

Warning/information delivered, Nathan heads in the wild Primal Bulbasaur's direction, Ray in tow.  How does the wild P-Bulba initially react when he sees Nathan approaching with another P-Bulba, @Iron?

The little Eevee family is not at all appeased by this. They see many intruders who are threats to their home and family.

It looks grumpy! And it was definitely ready for you. In fact, it instantly opens its own geode and pours forth a blinding Flash on Shiva, Nathan, Terra, and Heart, and the Pokemon it is most scared of - Makuhita.

(1)(1)(6)(5)(1)(5) (2)(1)(6)(4)(2)(3) (4)

You're all blinded!

Edit: Nathan's P-bulbasaur gives a croak letting you know he's not blinded.

...okay, that could have definitely gone better...good thing that blindness only lasts 6 seconds though, I guess?

"...gah...okay, note to self: Primal Bulbasaur all naturally know FLASH...here we go again, then..."

Can't really speak for Ray right now, but Gallade's immediately keeping a very careful eye on that wild Primal Bulbasaur once that FLASH is unleashed.  If it looks like it will attack again or try to flee, he looks ready to engage it so it stays put.  He needs to stall things until Nathan can see again. Presumably, Ray will help out since he's obedient, right?

Another flash of light, in Shiva's case out of the blue! Since she was concentrated on the Umbreon and young Eevee as well as on Raphael trying to fulfill his task of calming them - which, from the look and emotional response, didn't seem to work to well sadly - it hits her completely unprepared, and she can't do more but crouch down in daze, take off her glasses and cover her eyes in attempt to ease that throbbing pain that came from it.

Delphox SHARPLY hissed into the direction of that flash, drawing his basswood stick and enlighting it in sudden blaze of fury, while Raphael let out a startled coo and leaped over from the Eevee Family to Shiva now, wrapping his wings protectively around her. New Master's in pain, that's a bit more important here than his given task! D:

She's lacking anything to stop the pain, to heal that dazzed feeling and temporarly lost eyesight from that flash, and with a grim expression she imagined that another sudden bright flash of light has probably startled the foxes away completely and instantly. That poor small family of Eevees - having nestled here where sudden and unpredictable flashes of light might belong to everyday's life.... Sadness and compassion for them awoke within her, among with.....

..... RAGE.
Not icy cold yet, but more like 'no-nonsense' anymore.
Rage for whatever blinded them there, could it actually be ANOTHER one of these strange Bulbasaurs?
Rage over it having attacked them, having blinded them.
One one hand, she could understand it as they were more like intruders than guests, but that doesn't excuse 'it' from causing THIS to them and startling the Pokemon she was just calming ONCE MORE!
...

......
........It may be their territory and their home, but Shiva doesn't take any direct and suprise attacks from wild Pokemon too well, especially not when they affect her THAT way or startle other innocent Pokemon.

She leaned into what seemed to be the archangel given to her by her love, keeping her eyes covered in an attempt to soothe it. "Raphael..." she quietly spoke to him, "Please try to locate what has most likely caused that flash, chances are it might be another exemplar of a rocky Bulbasaur that is with Nathan. Don't attack that one - see if there is another one, a wild one around. If there is - I hope you are ready to DEFEAT IT. Delphox.... Come to me please, show me that you're close.... Can't see you.... Haaahh..."

She's saying this in a low and serious tone, but especially the last few (bold) words are audible for the others. It seems like she is all up to battle and faint whatever has let loose that second bright light, but are the others?

--------------------------------
Mechanics:
Wild Primal Bulbasaur must be taken out quickly and smoothly before it can cast more flashes, I'm all up to do that! But for fairness, instead of ordering an attack right away, see if there are strong objections from the others by having Shiva voice that she's up to defeat = faint it.

Which Makuhita though Iron, do you mean Shiranui from Terra? o.o (He's a Hariyama!)
