[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Carvanha sprays a passing Rattata with Hidden Power. It basically looks like a very concentrated Water Gun, so at least he's got a Canalize attack now!

As the grumpy Rattata stalks away, Nathan notices the rodent is leaving a watery trail behind with every footstep. She's been so thoroughly soaked she's leaving a shallow canal behind her!

Despite being somewhat lost in thought and sweetish memories, Shiva soon picked up the wondering and curious stare the mountainous man gave her, which, much to her own suprise, brought the hint of a blush to her face before she was quick to look away to the side and giving him a waving hand gesture of 'It's okay, nevermind, forget it, d-don't...worry!' It DOES seem to be a women thing, but she also hasn't forgotten that Terra was actually the only one who securely knows that she and Ven were, well, dating. Uh... She just decided to trust that he doesn't spill the beans towards the others of the group...

Cottonee in the meantime, couldn't help but to laugh joyfully about seeing her sweet Master being flustered all of a sudden. Always a fun sight, aww!~

"I-I will not worry! How can one do so about safety if... if someone of your build and strength is nearby... All's well! Now, if you excuse me..." she told, before making her mentioned u-turn to Bill's PC. Guess she just threw another concealed compliment at him more accidently than on purpose, but even if he doesn't get that the message should be (hopefully) clear!

As soon as Terra arrived, Shiva jumped up from the bench she was sitting and waiting at with all her Pokemon, very eager to finally get going. Any flustered feelings or shyness seemed to be blown away by the few minutes she waited, and she gazed into the direction he pointed to with rare wanderlust hidden in her gaze. "Yes, I remember these flowers! I read about the gardener who bred them in Unova already... If we happen to find many maaany more, they can be made into a salve to cure muscle pain and swelling even. But, eh, that's not priority, it's other plants I'm on the lookout more!"

In response to his counterquestion why she wished to see these tiny blue gemstones from previously a little closer, she gave him a knowing smile. "Oh, that's... Eh, that's mostly because I am quite decent in crafting things from various items and things, and from the first look I'm sure that I'd be...able to turn them into jewelry or use them to decorate other Crafting Projects of mine, if you'd let me... I-I'm somewhat having the feeling also that one of my Pokemon, a rare one sporting Fairy AND Dragon Type, would quite enjoy them..." She pauses shortly before continuing, faces him when she does. "How comes that you are...aware of their value though, or about the need to cut them properly before they can be sold... Is it, maybe, something you learned about at home in Hoenn?" Good guess.

Though before anything more could be discussed or shared or even answered, the Dusk Ball met the ground and as if Genie has sensed Shiva or real fairies around, she made a truely FABULOUS debut as if to scream a 'Hello! Here I am, ready for things, what can we don now together?' to the resident fae enthusiast. Contrary to Terra she wasn't startled by that in the slightest, but more like...highly amused by the Desert Princess' exuberant greeting. In fact, Shiva quickly turned towards Genie with a delightful smile that somewhat meant NOTHING good/displayed some eager for mischief, and raised her open hands towards the Flygon for a high-five of hands meeting claws. Seems completely unafraid of the dragon! "Hello, Genie! Nice to see you again~ Doing good, I assume? You Master said you'd be happy to get to know me and my real fairies a bit more, my pleasure!"

(Can I actually leave Cottonee's and Raphael's reaction to Genie's jolly greeting to GM? I'm sure Cottonee would LOVE it and react in a similar way like Shiva does, but I'm not sure about Raphael..)

Again, Terra reacts with befuddlement, tilting his head inquisitively as Shiva grew increasingly flustered and her white fluffball was shaking with merriment, as he had and still does not have single clue of what's going on with the two.

Before he could ask if anything was wrong with the Fairy pair, however, the human half of the duo hastily stammered out a response before fleeing to the PC and then vacating the Center entirely. This caused him to turn and vacantly stare at the spots she occupied, before he slowly shaked his head and got up to make his own preparations for the Berry Hunt.

'Why were Shiva and Cottenee were acting so...weird? *Mental shake of his head* Don't know.....but don't feel like its a bad thing. Maybe foraging for Berries will make her act normal again? Hmm....will see soon, or not.'

To his relief, his 'educated' guess proved to be correct, as the Fairy woman seemed back to her regular old self when she approached and returned his greetings and directions with much great aplomb. Seeing how she completely understood him, he only smiled back to her and nodded, simply happy and content with her being that way as well. Her reveal of the talent/Skill she has in Crafting, however, earned the mystical lass a much more expressive reactions from the simple monk, with his face liting up with surprise and quiet fascination as he leaned in closer.

"You are a Craftswoman? That can cut gems into jewelry? And have a Dragon/Fairy, like a Mega Alteria? ….Wow. *Pauses as he digests this all* ….Ven told me you were special, but not....how much so. Wise Woman...Move Tutor....Breeder.....Caregiver.....Collecter or Rare Pokémon.....Craftswoman.....you are all of these. *Shakes his head in wonder* Amazing..... *Beat* Okay. Here you go."

With that said, Terra brings out his partial handful of lapis lazulis, and hands them over to Shiva, giving her an almost reverential nod of his head as he did so.

"Know you will do good things with these now, so I.....entrust them in your Skilled hands, my friend...."

Her follow up question about himself earns her a tilt of his head, before he shrugged and casually explain it, like it was no big deal to the man.

"Learned from my Mama and Papa. They are Merchants, so they taught me all about Trade, Sales, Wealth, Finances......and a lot of other stuff. That is all."

Genie couldn't help but pout at Shiva's reaction to her Surprise! greeting, as she hadn't so much as gotten a twitch from them, which was a bit of a buzzkill for the desert dragonfly. Oh bother. Well, at least she caught her partner off guard, which never failed to be amusing when she could pull it off, te he!

The whimsy and impishness suffusing them as they greeted her did remedy that feeling, however, as it acted as kindling for her wicked, fae spirits, causing her to perk right back up as one of her claws SNAPPED forward to grasp at their hand, then PULLED the woman closer to her as she gave them an toothy, fiendish, and downright EAGERgrin as her answer, and more....

My my, what an delightful, dear little girl you are! Saying and implying allthe right things to excite and tempt her, and without hardly any caution or reservations! Te he he.....indeed, it'll certainly be a pleasure to get to know you better. To share all the mischievous, wicked ideas between them , and come up with even BETTER ones in due time! How marvelous Yes, yes, the two of us will become the best-est of friends, now won't we now dear? Te he he he he..…!~

Shiva joins in the chuckles her most dear Pokemon lets out, casting a dear smile towards both Genie and her Master. "See? She seems to aleady like you, just like I do!" The slightly competitive attitude Shiva does pick up from Raphael though is met with a cautious frown followed by growing worry as the achangel climbs high into the air... "Raphael, please come back!", she calls out for him while still holding Genie's clawed hands (if she allows, that is!), "We're not hear to battle or fight, this green dragon here just wishes to meet us all! Please be friendly and say hello, will you?"

After a sudden wave of realization washes over her, she adresses the archangel once more: "Or... Hey, if you'd wish we COULD arrange a friendly fight 1vs1 of you against this Flygon here! But only after we've trained enough and you learned a Fairy Type move under my care, okay? That'd be... your first time of attempted dragonslaying, haha! How does that sound to you, and... how about you, Genie? Terra? Up for that at some point?" Given the faint sparkles in Shiva's eyes behind the glasses, she kinda enjoys the thought.

Cottenee's and Raphael's reactions serve as an adequate enough distraction for the 'Fairy' Princess, causing her to draw away from Shiva to favor those two with her attention. To the white fluffball, she simply fully extended her wings and proudly flaunted them, showing that no matter how big they puff themselves up, she'll always be bigger and badder than them. The archangel's flight earned them an bemused smile, as she could quite easily glide up after them, but choose to remain mostly ground bound instead. After all, with her current grip on their master's hand, they'd end up being given an improptu lift if she went ahead and did that! 

Hmm.....now that she's thought about it, that seemed to be more and more of a downright splendid idea.....

Before she could decide whether or not she wanted to THAT or not, Shiva suddenly proposing a challenge caused the lean, mean, and green dragoness to blink a couple of times, before she started to giggle deviously and nodding her head, now sporting a positively rakish grin for both them and Raphael. Ah....you want to pit her up against that jubilant Fairy, now do you? Te he he he....well, that's just fine by her! Type advantage or not, she'll show them who's the superior flying fae between the two of them. Oh, now she just can't WAIT to clip their broad, fluffy little wings, and send them plummeting straight into the ground! Te he he he!!!

By this point, Terra had recovered from the shock from earlier, and was now holding his head in both hands in seeming despair as he witnessed/processed the entire spectacle of Genie's greetings, only vaguely nodding his head in agreement to the fine lady's idea. Normally, he'd discipline his mischievous dragoness for her being....well, overly mischievous, but right now he was too busy briefly being exasperated by what's happening, as by any indication the newfound kinship between her and Shiva was just going to lead to whole new extremes for their fiendishness.

'.....This will be trouble. For me, and everyone, if I am not able to handle this. Knew that Genie would be....excited to meet Shiva, but.....did not expect her to act this.....ugh.'

Something tells him he'll have his hands full keeping his Dragon Djinni of the Desert fully in line for now on, whenever she and Shiva interact more.....personally. Oh boy.

At first, Nathan's almost a little disappointed.  What looks like a weaker version of Water Gun?  Well, it's better than nothing...

It's when Carvanha jumps out of the small pool of water to eagerly pursue and snap at the wild Rattata that Nathan realizes what the move's effect is.  Wahoo!  Freedom!  Snap snap snap!  The poor Rattata flees, but the trail of water allows Carvanha to keep up with no problems!

Takes a little wrangling and sone 'stern words' from Rhea to get Carvanha to return and behave herself, but it's still a happy moment overall for both Nathan and Rhea.  Oe less thing to worry about!  Hooray!

Next thing on the list: Teleporting to Stair with Ditto/Gallade.  Specifically, to the Disobedience Shelter.  Nathan has a question for Pyroar.  Gallade hangs back, as usual.

"Hello again, Pyroar.  So, I've given it some thought...would you like to join my group of friends?  If you're willing to give it a shot, I can try and help you become more comfortable with other pokemon and yourself.  I didn't really want to be so forward, to be honest...but I won't be in the nearby area for much longer, so I figured it'd be better to ask now while it's still convenient.  So...what do you say?  If not, that's fine too.  I don't want to force you into this, alright?"

When Terra leaned in closer to her in suprise and calm fascination over the - to her - not that extraordinary statement that she was able to turn these tiny blue gemstones into something pretty, Shiva at first returned his stare with one that displayed amazement on her own before she averted her gaze slowly and meekly to observe the path in front of them instead, as if she feared having said anything wrong.

Though upon hearing that she didn't and the mountainous man only seemed to be caught off-guard by the various skills she seemed to possess, Shiva completely failed to hold back an embarrased smile - though she kept mustering the ground as they walked as she could definitely feel a faint blush returning to her expression as he was...'listing' the various titles he felt matching for the fae woman accompanying him on a trip to only gather some Berries. The opening that Ventus himself has told his successor that Shiva was something special only served to increase the flustered feelings within her, as she could only return this sentiment to the oddball of a Pokemon Sociologist. "You...You don't have to call me a 'Wise Woman' though! That's adorable... B-but not necessary. *waving handgestures of 'It's no big deal, and now Shiva finally faces him - the smile still very present in her features* "Just my name is enough. H-heart is also the Collector of rare Pokemon, not me..." She seems to calm down before she spoke the following sentence, her gaze becoming a dreamy tone as she looked up to the sky. "I mostly just try to befriend Pokemon that I meet and happen to like. The biggest part of mine have chosen to join me on their own after a bit of sweet-talk and getting to know it... It's quite a fine feeling to know that you haven't dragged it from its home against its will. That... that cute dragonfairy is one of them!~"

"But... to each their own I guess", she eventually concludes, "It's not like I DON'T battle selected Pokemon in the wild if I feel like they are not receptive to my words and offers."

Silence reigned after that for a little, in which Cottonee only chirped a little to express that she wouldn't want to be anywherelse but by the side of her sweet Master and she growing a little shy again upon noticed that she got a little carried away. 

Things were neatly brought on-topic again as Terra even handed her the formerly mentioned gemstones, which she answered with a stare of wonder initiately. "Huh... Uhm, thank you! I-I will certainly make good things out of 'em! Whoahw..." Guess she has simply not expected to be GIVEN the gemstones when she only asked to investigate them once from close, but after his next response she tilted her head at Terra with a faintly confused gaze up to him. "If... if your parents are merchants though and have thaught you everything about it, are you...sure that you don't want anything in return for these...? A favour or so... Or you want to have the crafts once they're done?"



Now to Genie!

The natural fae enthusuast could only laugh joyfully when that special Flygon of Terra expressed an INCREDIBLE amount of eager to her greeting and practically snatched her hand when offering it - after the initiate faint startle of that has faded, that is. Shiva kept her delighted tone of voice and mischievous-playful attitude towards the Desert Princess though as she firmly held her claw in her hand, even when she mildly scolded her for that exuberant way to return her hello. "Now now though, you're quite an eager type, are you?~ That's neat to see and I do look forward to become great friends with you as well, but please take care to not stress your Master too much, you hear?"

Though when Genie pulled her close, Shiva whispered to her with a roguish grin on her own, making sure that Terra didn't notice that change in her expression or heard what she NOW told: "But... of course we can make up and share aaaaalll the thoughts and ideas we have to have our kind of 'fun' together! We just have to... beware that none notices anything beforehand, my dear... *mischivous and telling giggle*" Yes, they already seem to understand each other oh so well. Oh boy...

Genie's antics over Cottonee flooffing up to a massive size brought another laughter to Shiva, looking forward to her most dear fluffball evolving into a Whimsicott a little more now. Aww, that'll be when her prankster nature will fully awake and she'll take care to not miss any opportunity to outplay it... Shiva could also rather easily pick up the slight hints in body language to notice what  Genie was pondering about, but she chose to play the innocent one to the outside and give the Flygon herself a look of 'I know what you're thinking! And guess what, I LIKE that idea! But... wait for the right moment, okay?~'

For now though, she waved Raphael to land by her side and asked him to be friendly towards this dragon, in silent though she was quite delighted over his eager to join the ranks of a dragonslayer like a real fair would. Patting his softly by the back, she non-verbally told him that 'we'll train a little and THEN you can have your chance, give it time, dear archangel!'

"Now then", Shiva told as she turned towards the Master of Genie, "What shall we do toge.... Terra, is everything okay? Oh, please don't worry... We'll behave ourselves! Right, Genie?" A wink to mentioned dragon expressed that she she shouldn't take this 'behaving' too serious. They're here to play after all!

I don't think Pyroar would be willing to do that. He can smell all kinds of Pokemon on you, and has only bonded with two of them at all. 

If you want to sort of try persuading Pyroar, I'll give you a roll. If you are just 100% leaving it up to him, he just shakes his bedraggled head.

"This doesn't come up much," she winks, "but HMs are allowed only in Gym battles."


It looks like the audience is an older gentleman and a young girl of about 10. They're sitting on opposite sides of the stadium.

And I know this is for nothing. Anyway, there is a certain pokemon of mine who want a chance to get his remach. Caesar! Come to the battlefield my friend!" Heart then summon his poison bunny. "Well, I believe you gonna bring Spinda or another pokemon correct? But believe me: After the experiences I got in Mt. Sentry, I return stronger. I gonna go with full strengh so come on!"

Yep, out comes Spinda again, immediately confused by a long bouncing entrance through the tubes! She pops out and almost teeters right into Caesar, but swerves to limbo under him at the last second.

"Stop showing off, Spinda. Get ready, this is a serious battle with a very strong trainer!"

Yes, that's partially the idea here.  It'd be easier to work with Pyroar on the road than having to make a trip to Stair every time.
