[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Telekinesis - Lilith
(5)(3)(6)(4)(2)(4) (2)(6)

Telekinesis - Gallade
(3)(3)(4)(6)(4)(3) (4)(2)(1)

Light Screen
(6)(3)(6)(5)(2)(1) (6)(2)(6)(2)

The wagon is slowly lowered onto the Light Screen. Viktor bears some of the weight on the way down. The wagon touches down safely!!

Immediately, the man "driving" the wagon stands up and holds the tube thing over his head, glorying in being alive! You can see that it's an Eelektrik. "OH, thank you, brave trainers! Allow me to heal your Pokemon! Berries for everyone!" He digs into his pocket and flings Berries all over the place like a man throwing candy from a parade - 10 Oran Berries in all.

"And you never know when your Pokemon might harbor some hidden ailment, oh my! So it's best to get them checked out at Dr. M's Traveling Medicine Show!" He kicks a lever near the driver's seat. The wagon has been touched down for all of 10 seconds before he's got the plywood slats downed, revealing a concession-stand style arrangement where you can go up to the window and view shelves of wares.

A few other vehicles have arrived to rubberneck at the big hole in the road. Two people head up to the medicine show cart, but it looks like Dr. M will give the heroes priority.

(Spira arrives on scene at this point, if desired.)

Meanwhile, Stoutland has run up to the carriage and leapt inside while it's still moving. Smeargle has reined in the Gogoat and the carriage comes to a fairly sudden halt, thirty feet past the wagon and the Rhyhorn Pokeball.

Chansey and its burden smack up against Dizzy's body, but since you stopped the Rhyhorn and wagon both, and Smeargle passed the pilot check, no one looks to have taken damage, not even Dizzy. The child, a very tiny toddler, has half stood up in Chansey's arms and is petting Dizzy with one hand. The other hand clutches an androgynous porcelain doll which is smeared with various colors of paint and wearing Pikachu ears.

Calam smiles at how cute this scene is.

The mother and father are fussing over the baby, but Chansey reassures them. Machop has gotten out and, after helping the father step down onto the ground, is inspecting the damage.

Dad runs over to whoever's still nearby - he'd probably run to Heart who looks like the adult (and male) of the group. "Oh, thank you, thank you! I'm traveling with my son and, oh, it could have been such a disaster! When I saw those Absol I thought it was the end for sure. But he seems to like them. How can I thank you, how? Such strong trainers with strong and fast Pokemon! Such heroes! So helpful! So creative, catching a stampeding Pokemon when moves weren't enough to stop it! I'll have to write a letter to Professor Westwood and thank him for his wonderful invention saving my family from certain death! Two Absol, gosh!"

He slows down a bit.

"I'm Mito, and that's my wife Rita in the carriage. Machop, my footman. Our new nursemaid, Chansey. Our old cabdriver, Smeargle, the third generation of Smeargle serving our family. And of course our little baby Pumpkin-Peanut. Look at him, he loves Pokemon so much!"

He shakes your hands, possibly including Terra if he comes over here.

"Anything I can do for you, name it. Please. It brings me honor to repay your kindness."

Every Pokemon and Trainer in the Encounter gets 4XP from this, and trainers get +2 for heroism. Rhyhorn stats and storefront coming up soon.

The farmer sees Terra singlehandedly hauling the giant boar. His eyes go wide, and he calls into the house. "Ethel! Get out here!"

A great big woman almost the size of Terra arrives at the door. She looks to be the farmer's daughter. They run over to Terra, and together the two of them (mostly Ethel) manhandle the pig into a pile of damp straw.

"Ethel, get this man a bottle of your best Lemonade, and as many jars of jam as you have left. That's by way of apology, sir, since I'm presumablin' Emboar burnt down his fence again and you found him either causin' trouble or experiencin' the reapercussin's of his actions. Since he evolved he can destroy even the toughest stuff. Am I about right?"

Gotcha! Rhyhorn was caught!

Overgrown, base HP 7.
Surprise, +1 Vitality.
Happiness 2, Loyalty 0, Disobedience 5. : 0
Ability: Rock Head
Permanent held items embedded in his hide: Hard Stone, Metal Coat, Lamp Post, Road Sign, Railroad Track. He can also be given an additional item.
All the Lamp Post can do is provide a free light source. All the Road Sign and Railroad Track can do is...look good?
Rhyhorn won't be League-legal until you get a medical practitioner to remove at least one of the two useful items.

Here are all the moves you didn't get to see:
Horn Attack, Fury Attack, Bulldoze, Chip Away, Head Charge, Drill Run, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Megahorn, Heavy Slam (300kg), Iron Defense, Iron Tail.

In short, he's a powerhouse, but poor typing and monstrous disobedience that will take a lot of work.
His value in 2017 is about the same as that Druddigon.

Dr. M's Traveling Medicine Show

Your money's no good in 1925 unless you're Spira, but you can propose a trade. Everything's worth ~half what it was in 2017, but he'll trade you full value of most items, so that'll cancel out since you can normally only sell items for half retail price. For example, he'll give you $100 for a Potion, which is the same price he sells Potions at.

Other trading options may be possible. I'll try to be flexible 'cause you ain't got 1925 cash.

1. Potion - $100
2. Dr. Mega's Snax - $150. 1 dice on next training roll. "Made from real Ekans skin and secret ingredients!"
3. Max Potion - $2000. "Made from ten other Potions combined together under a full moon and stirred with a secret ingredient! It's homeopathic!"
4. Revive Crystal - $750. "A real crystal! Very healthy aura!"
5. Heal Powder - $250. "Holistic. Made from roots of Berry trees that have intertwined underground!"
6. Repel - $200. "Smells like hale and invigorating Ursaring piss!"
7. 1925 Pokeball - $400. "Brand new, but so much better than those Apricorns!"
8. Berries - Trade any Berry for any Common or Uncommon Berry, page 70.
9. Energy Powder - $50. Works like a foul potion. "Mix with water, hold your nose, and drink or spray!"
10. Dr. Mighty's Bath Salts - $1400. "Mix with water and rub it on your Pokemon, or submerge him in a nice bath! He'll be 100% good as new again, guaranteed!" (Revival herb)
11. Tincture of Ramses - $50. Restores 2HP (Berry Juice). "You'll want lots of these, taken from ancient Shuckle found in a pyramid! Buy as many as you can afford!"
12. Maps of distant regions - $400. "I know where all kinds of rare secret-hoarding dragons are! You will need a boat!"
13. Torchic Teeth - $1000. -1 Happiness, +1 Loyalty. "Hypnotize a Pokemon to trust you!"
14. Psyduck Milk - $???. "It's not easy to get Psyduck Milk. What do you have to offer for it?" Value is $9800 2017, because this item grants a +1 Dexterity surprise!
15. Eelektrik Leech Treatment - $75. Restores one Will point. "You'll feel great, all those toxins gone!"
16. Croagunk Pus - $200. Makes you immune to poison for 1 hour. Cures existing poison.
17. ElectrIzer, MagmarIzer, ProtectorIzer - $1000. "The newest gadgets from Stair City! They're homeopathic!"

Terra allows the water dog creature escape unimpeded, glaring at it Intimidatingly with arms crossed as it done so! He wasn't the type to 'finish the job' against or pursue a former weakened aggressors unless it was a Pokemon he wanted to catch/did him great harm, so he didn't mind Dewott turning tail and fleeing. Besides, it'll teach the critter better to go messing in others business if its conscious for that lesson to sink in!

Once they had gotten far enough away that it doubling back for another Round of attacks was extremely unlikely, the rugged wanderer relaxed his guard and went over to check over the wounds of his partners.

Anubi seemed pretty banged up, with sopping slash marks and minor burns  marring his pristine form, but that hardly seemed to phaze him as he gave thumbs up to everyone and struck an confident pose, fiercely grinning at the fallen Fiery bovine. It may have been hug compare to him, but that just made it all the most satisfy to serve them up like the big ham they were!

Angie, meanwhile, looked mostly fine after her papa promptly treated the worst of her injuries with a Potion from, and in fact  appeared just as chipper with the results of the battle as the aural jackal! Her first  fight against two big, tough Pokemon (one of them a FIGHTING type no less, oh my!) and she ended up pulling through to the end! Yaaay, *Ssssszzzzz!*

Seeing both his Fighting doggies and chubby snake were mostly happy and okay brought great relief to him, causing him to smile as he crouched down to pat their heads.

"Good job. Took down big piggie and sent the....dog running with little trouble, and fought very well. Well done. *Looks at doggie* Anubi, I am happy you followed my orders. When we work together, we grow stronger. You know this now, so remember it. Okay? *Now looks at snake* Very proud of you, Angie. Endured piggie's Hammer Arm and Confusion, and hit back just as hard. And you did it all in your first battle too. *Smiles even more proudly* Excellent. You are a baby, but you are already so strong. Will not be easy to.....improve on that, but I will do it. We will do it. Promise."

He returned them both to their Pokeballs soon enough once he was finished praising/inspecting them (First letting them respond, of course), then goes over to the Emboar, and with grunt and great big heave ho hoists them straight up! Terra is STRONK, so it was easy peasy (at least compare to lifting Basteele) ! After that, he began his march back towards the farm when big piggie came from, but not before catching sight of the group as they successfully stop Rhyhorn* and saved the day. This caused him to let out a large *SIGH* of relief, before he gave them all a proud smile + nod of his head (Its unlikely they would see this, but still, the gesture counts!), and continued on his given objective. Looks like his confidence and faith in his friend paid off, so his spirit can rest MUCH easier, now and in later events like this one!

Terra appeared greatly impressed with Ethel when she came out and took the now named Emboar, nodding approvingly at her great stature and Strength as she used both to full effect. He isn't interested in the farmer's daughter THAT way (For various reasons, chief among them the fact he's a time traveler, which puts a new spin on 'long distance relationships'), but for a guy like him he can't help but appreciate and admire such qualities normally rare in women of his time....

When the father came over and asked for the rub down on what happened with Emboar, the mountain of a man thought it over for a moment, before nodding his head.

"Yes. Emboar burnt fence up. Him and a.....blue walking dog Pokemon came running through. Both wanted to fight a giant Ground Pokemon that dug up under one of those......large carts."

He points over towards the former site of the Rock Beast's rampage, now bereft of the Pokemon in question but still quite torn to hell, but with everyone/thing over their more or less fine.

"Stopped them from.......getting involved, and making things worse. Fainted Emboar, blue dog ran back to farm. *Shrugs* Was not too hard or bad. Decided to bring him back to your farm, since he came from here. That is all *Looks thoughtful, before adding:* Might want to dig a moat in front of fence. Maybe that will keep Emboar from escaping, or slow him down. Keep Wild Pokemon from getting in too, so has double purpose."

Terra will happily accept the Lemonade and as many jars of jam from Ethel, as while he doesn't believe the apology is necessary, he's NEVER one to turn down food Items or generosity of any kind, unless in specific circumstances. If the Farmer and/or Ethel have anything else to say to him, he'll stick around and listen, but otherwise he'll wish them a good day and farewell be making his way back to the group and Dr. M's Stall. He doesn't have much to say to them now, but DOES give everyone another smile and firm pat on the shoulder for their flawless heroism.

(Waiting on the Confirmation of whether or not Ramses Item can be Held + Used or not before I start making sales/purchases!)

"Oh, is everyone doin' alright there? Tell 'em they can stop by the ol' farmhouse if they need to recuperate. My blue dog is named Dewott - he's supposed to be the Dissilpin Pokemon and keep Emboar in line, but it doesn't really work. Hey, maybe a moat would help Dewott dissilpin Emboar. I'll be sure to try it out."

The rugged wanderer turns to squint at the near disaster zone, before looking back to the farmer and nodding.

"Yes. Don't see anyone panicking, and Rhyhorn is gone, so I think everyone is okay. *Nods, then bows* I will. Thank you for your generosity, sir."

Dewott's indentity and purpose being revealed caused Terra to pause and then stroke his chin beard as he thought about it.

"Ah. *Beat* Hmm.....if Dewott's job to discipline Emboar, he needs to become stronger, or they will not be stopped easily. Or he needs to earn more of their respect, so that they listen to him. Moat will do its job too, but has to be big and deep enough to......make Emboar not want to cross it. *Cross his arms, and nods his head* That is my advice. Take it, or do not."

"These new gizmos are all the rage! They aren't really medicinal items. They're appliances I've refurbished with my own brand!! They were recently discovered to have the kind of energy a Magmar, Electabuzz, or - can you believe it - Rhydon, need to evolve! If that doesn't make you drool I don't know what will!"
