Just as a heads up, I plan to be spending some quality time with some of my friends for about maybe half of Monday. Might not be responding to posts as quickly as I usually do since the current plans involve a good ol' tabletop rpg.
A little last minute as a warning, but eh. I'll try and respond to posts if I have some time to do so.

Let's to a flat dex roll to see if Spira can get to A-Marowak without spending will, @ Iron, and if he fails I'll go for the trainer items, if he succeds I'll discuss who gets the pokemon with @ Dragonstrike.

Oh wow, 4 for 4 for Spira. Noice.
So, now I've got an interesting choice here...
I can help you battle the Marowak, Mika. That's one option. Given that I have more than enough pokemon as it is, I'm willing to let you have priority for catching A-Maro (if Spira doesn't know what type A-Maro is, Nathan can also inform him)
I can jump back in to help Farfetch'd, which is a totally IC thing that Nathan would do. @ Lord Windos, time to discuss this as well! (Personally, I wouldn't mind having Nathan take Farfetch'd under his wing afterwards, either) Nathan or Terra can probably do it solo, but there is also the option to tag team it.
I could also jump in and help with Hitmonlee if Windos goes for Farfetch'd and if you think you can handle the Maro, Mika.
I'm not really super interested in the items or battling any of the soldiers/generals, tbh.

Hooray for battling an enemy solider is entirerly mine then!~ I thought out stuff concerning the RP'ing with and after the battle, now I'm rather excited to see how things will go.
Spira's an expert for Ghost Types, I'd be rather suprised if he has never heard of how Marowak in Alola are possessed by the vengeful spirit of their mother for protection beyond the living world.

That's really up to Spira to determine. Honestly, regardless of what kinda familiarity with other regions' rare Ghost types he has, I won't be surprised either way.

Considering that the A-Marowak is leading a "wedge" of regular Marowak I could use some help taking out all the regular ones. (however many Iron decides there are.) Although I don't want to force your decision. And Spira's textbook only covers ghost pokemon through Generation 6.

Hey, @ Iron, in my character sheet you put Dusknoir/Toya's max HP at 12 but in the Yanmega battle, the max HP was 10, any particular reason for this slight discrepancy?

Oh... Maybe it's time to get the newest version. :o
I still like the fact that he's using a textbook to get info from, am I allowed to ask about it the next time he draws it out of pure in-chara interest or is that more something that's not really appreciated?

Iron is human just like the rest of us, so he's just as prone to errors as we are. Gallade had 9 max HP in the game thread instead of 8 for awhile, lol.

Sure, you can ask about it IC whenever the chance arises again. *short OOC explanation about the book follows*
The version he used in his Gym training classes was the 4th Edition (covered through Gen 4), and the 6th edition was the newest version when he left for Creshire. Here was the first mention of the book.(as well as a look at Spira's...interesting... sense of humor.) And Shiva did see the book once, (somewhere around here) although whether or not she saw the title then is up to you.
