Looks simple, but very nice! Congrats on everything went smashingly for you literal home coming! Don't like how the forces of fate itself almost conspired to sabatoge you , but sometimes life can be hectic like that.

Never heard about those codes, but I imagine it'll be a nightmare for anyone but a proffesional. How long will it take for them to get the job down? And when's your ETA for moving into your cozy new home?

Terra got caught up in the trace, so it can't be him, but Nathan or Shiva could possible have the presense of mind to snap a few photos to back up that hitherunknown historical moment. As for Jirachi.....well, maybe anyone could have snapped a photo?

Huh....never noticed that change, tbh. Too clever for me by half, then!

Terra and Nathans' pokedexes would have registered them as seen, no?

I picked up on it from the description of the various wild pokemon that were common in that time.

Dark: literally hundreds of Mightyena and some Absol
Ground: Onix, Mamoswine
Rock: Onix, Magcargo, presumably the fossil pokemon
Normal: Eevee, probably some other mammals

Combine that with those being the 4 types missing from the list AND the tidbit of info Iron revealed saying type diversity increased after a meteor impact long, long ago...and I was able to conclude that Jirachi's tags were going to cause type changes.  Further confirmed by the appearances and behaviors of any pokemon that touched the tags altering slightly, but noticeably.

And that's why I considered what kind of Surprise I wanted to get from Jirachi's wish tags for literal hours.  (though I was also playing some Monster Hunter while doing so).  I basically boiled it down to Grass/Dragon Snivy, Dark/Fairy Calam, or Dex surprise Nathan.

There are building codes for everything, and you don't get much choice about following them. The only way around it is to have a house on wheels. Most are reasonable things that any builder should be doing anyway - don't cross your utilities, make sure all wood exposed to the elements has been treated, don't make tiny little rooms that twist through a fourth spatial dimension full of witches. But there are thousands of these codes and it's really hard for a layman to meet them without hours of research.

Guess that will be the case then! Before he joined the group, Terra never seen a Legendary Pokemon, but now it seems like they are rather eager to greet him and rectify that issue! What's also funny is that every Pokemon he's meet has both been a Mythical and has a Psychic typing, which is sorta funny considering he embodies the concept of a Wilderness Fighter/Surviver.

I also find it rather odd that I actually enjoyed the Deoxys Encounter as much as I did, consider it was a Plot Deviced Legendary that came from SPACE! to pillage the land. Guess I'm warming up to those types of things , now that they've been sufficiently introduced to dull the anxiety I feel from them.....or Terra just lets me act a bit more recklessly and have fun doing it. Either or!

I'm still somewhat curious to know what would have happened if Terra was actually caught by them, as I would have just made him go along peacefully with the supervirus due to hypnosis/being that curious with it, but I guess that will remain a mystery for the ages

Mate, the fact you figured that out from those barest of clues tells me you're just as clever as your character, or even Reiner! I'd NEVER figure that out on my own, since I hopelessly oblivous to that sort of thing! Nice to know all this now, so thanks for the explanation(s)!

For my choice in Cosmic Boon.....I literally rolled my own set of Dice for it, and choose one option I liked the best at the time. In retrospect, I'd given Shiranui the Steel typing to trade its Weakness to Fire, Ground, and Fighting (Since he's better equipped to deal with them) and Bullet Punch, but as I said earlier, hindsight is 20/20. I'm happy enough with Terra's Steeliness anyway, as I didn't just want to give him another Stat Boost in either Strength or Vitality since those things can be obtained through other means than perhaps a once in a campaign event (IE: More than Human Bonus and The Badge Pairs, on top of other things not yet known....)

Hmm.....never knew that, so I guess I haven't been curious enough about my family's job before. On the subject of houses on wheels, I've always been interested in RV living, but that seems awfully expensive and awkward to live in compared to even a small apartment.

What about secret compartments that hold secret treasure, or traps that hold gremlins that play hell with anyone's reception? Those seem like things one would include in a remote fortress in the wilderness....

Well, I hope you can hire a plumber that has reasonable rates, mate. I know technicians can cost a fortune, depending on what you are asking them to do.

The first plumber I got an estimate from is asking way too much for my tiny amount of plumbing. I'll try some more tomorrow.

I do have a few secrets hidden away in the house. There are no less than seven four-leaf clovers built into the house. There's a time capsule in the foundation. A few "secret" access panels that blend in. Oh, and today I heard there is a cave on the hill behind my house (which I do not own) containing a colony of bats!

Tch.....money grubber. Its not like piping isn't expensive or a common enough utility to work on that someone needs to price gouge you. Wishing you luck on finding the right man/woman for the job that won't cost an arm and a leg!

Wow......wicked! Especially the time capscle, as I can imagine someone/you decades from now digging it up and finding what's been squirled away for the ages. Reminds me of those geo caches that people leave for others to treasure hunt, but more private!

Living by a bat colony is a great thing, since they'll keep the misqueto and pest population down, and they look so adorable too when you get a good look at them! Nice find! You know what type of bats they are, though?

They Legendary Pokemon for a reason for Arceus sake! Its Mewtwo exploding the laboratory of a bunch of scientists, its a crazy collector trying to put in some collection the Three Legendary Birds, its a stupid anti greenpeace guy who try to control Celebi itself, and a group of nihilists trying to control the Pokemon Gods who literally control the laws of time and space!

Welp, looking at the bright side, Sarimanok never have the unfortanely to have anger the devil Pokemon Giratina, be drag to the Reverse world and problably have paintful death for trying to literally end the universe and kill everything and everyone (Because I one hundred percent certain Cyrus might have suffer A LOT by the hands of Giratina. He is called the devil pokemon for a reason).

But anyway, if ever dare to think in control one Legendary Pokemon, my friend, the only thing you can expect its results in big failure. Even more if you talking about one of the three golem pokemon, who was made by the same Pokemon who can moves entire continents with his bare hands! Even if the Golems dont have THAT level of power, you can be sure they have a fraction of power, and problably Reggirock alone could destroy a entire kingdom for sure if angered. Since in the Pokerole its not the same thing as the games, since Legendary are pratically gods or at least demi-gods.

Or two warring factions that hope to expand the land/sea, only to get more than they bargained for.  Or a disillusioned individual bent on committing worldwide genocide via powering a super weapon with Legends that embdoy life and death itself, followed by said legends waking up just before the weapon is fired and partnering with his arch nemesis to take him down.  And let's not even get into the whole debacle with the UBs and Necrozma.

Ghetsis and Cyrus have had the best success/strategy for controlling Legendary pokemon by far, as their methods didn't inherently backfire on them for one reason or another.  Of course, Cyrus's plan was stopped by circumstances outside of his control, but the Red Chain plan was still lacking in flaws.  And Ghetsis successfully bent Kyurem to his will with the help of Colress's technology...

And then there's Cipher and their Shadow Pokemon project bending Legends to their will.

----------------

As far as Cyrus's ultimate fate...all we really know about that (OOC) is he chose to stay in the Distortion World because it's exactly the kind of place he desired to be in, ironically enough.  We also know there's running water in the Distortion World, but food is another matter entirely...not sure what exactly he might be eating in there...oh, and as far as Giratina's role in all that was, all we really know about that is that it dragged Cyrus there specifically to foil his attempts to bend time and space...but after that, I think it kinda left Cyrus to his own devices in that realm.

----------------

Forcibly controlling them almost always ends badly, yes (mostly for plot reasons).  Of course, in pokerole, how powerful Legends are and whether they are captured/befriended is always up to storyteller discretion.

Another thing to consider though is that Regirock going crazy didn't happen until after Sarimanok's rule had ended, so nothing really went wrong for Sarimanok himself as far as the history books know.

Hey Dragonstrike, I just remembered that we agreed to have Terra help Nathan bond with his Vibrana and D-Forrestress. I was thinking we could some time do some sort of exchange , like Terra give them pointers and trains them with the help of Basteele and Genie, while he Tutors one of his Pokemon a move (Most likely Tailwind for Genie, unless he can teach Bullet Punch to Shiranui). How does that sound, mate?

Sure, sounds fair.

Almost definitely can't teach Bullet Punch, though. Nathan's not personally familiar enough with that move since I don't think he's seen it in use enough. Maybe Shiva could since Pancham knows it, though.
