[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Quote:He turns his scarred face to you, Shiva, and you see his scar is in the EXACT same place as Dizzy's wound from Nidoqueen. His look says "How can you ask me to stand down after what this woman has done TO ME?"

Dafaque, I'm starting to see the puzzle pieces creating a picture that slowly makes sense. It all comes together in the end? Whoahw. That's cool.

Still, none is allowed to slaughter Juni as long's Shiva present! >:V

Oh, so I take it you figured it out now as well?  I got it a little earlier, tbh, after thinking about all the little things.  It started making a lot more sense.

Nathan doesn't want to kill her either.  He has something to say to Calam, too.

Whoosh. And here I am thinking that could be some blood today. But I guess we will not do that. But still, she would get out anyway. I say then we should push her on a volcano. We would not kill her, but the lava would.

...that still technically counts as murder, Spirit...

Oh, I've had that suspicion that Dizzy/Calam were one and the same ever since it was brought up the location of their scar, and their desire to remain in the past to conduct their own investigations. Also explains why Calam has always been so fascinated with Dizzy, seeing as they are a younger version of himself.

Terra has half a mind to leave her stranded in the past with nothing but the cloths on her back, but he doesn't want to kill her at ALL. Rough her up a bit perhaps, but not kill.

Still better than let a murderer like her out. She say she have friends in hight places. A AK-47 could easily end her. Or even a rock hitting her head.

Not in my mind. The nature of a Vulcan would kill her. She would after us anyway in the future. Unless you want drag with us to the future. I say to end her here in past, or abandon her in the past. That could resolve too.

Ugh, outright killing her is incredibly cruel, regardless in what way. That's definitely not what we're supposed to do, please don't take that way! :o

Deal with the current things now, worry about what we'll do with her afterwards. Maybe leaving her in the rainforest area here in the current time would be alright? Practically what Windos suggested. It's still dangerously close to the acceptance limit or me and especially Shiva, but I guess both of us will get along with such a decision.

Ding ding ding!  That's when I figured it out too.  At first, however, I asked which eye was scarred purely out of curiosity, not because I thought that they might be one and the same.

Iron said it was the left eye.  And he also said they were matching scars.  At first, I thought, 'Oh cool.  Similar scars.  Another reason for Calam to be close to Dizzy.'

But then I started thinking about it a little more.

When Calam and Dizzy first met, and how Iron PMed me specifically to say he'd control Calam's reactions in that scene.  (yes, he did do that).  How eager he was to meet the young Absol.

How Dizzy didn't know any moves that Calam hadn't started with.  How they had the same Ability.

How when asked about their purpose, they both turned to face North, towards the location where the Almanac Lab/Scimitar Base was being built.  And to some extent, also how Calam reacted around the Scimitars in general.

How Calam didn't want to be bonded to just Nathan with the apricorn ritual.

And the final nail in the coffin was when I PMed Iron earlier to ask how similar Dizzy's scar was to Calam's.  And he responded that they looked exactly the same, obviously.

Dizzy IS Calam.  His existence in the timeline is entirely circular up until the point where Dizzy leaves the party in 2014 to go do his job of infiltrating Almanac's operations, a chance that he cannot possibly turn down.

What we don't know is what happened in the 3 years between Dizzy leaving the party and Calam joining Nathan and Kirlia on their adventures.

Superpower's damage dice came REALLY close to causing a paradox.  And if Nathan had tugged on Dizzy's thread, that would have also caused a paradox.

Ugh, I don't really feel to elaborate on things, I had the figurative puzzle pieces laying in front of me for a while while I stared at them and had the wildest thoughts what image they'll eventually display.

Probably a question best left for Nathan to answer, me thinks.  That's getting into timey wimey mumbo jumbo territory, and that's what Nathan wants to discuss with Detective Thrawn.  (well, one of the the things.  The other big thing is what to do with Juni, obviously)
