Spira would prefer the University method, figuring that the variant might be rare enough that they'd consider researching it.

You could email them an offer and then send Marowak to their PC if they accept. That way you don't have to wait until the party goes to Botanville, which isn't really on the list right now.

Typhon gains the 2Xp and also a Canalize roll, but using Knowledge instead of Fight since he's a rather scientific Pokemon.

(5)(1)(4)(2)(4)(2) (5)(4)(4)(5)(3) = 7 bonus XP. Typhon enjoys creating little powerstorms in this quiet city.

Welp, time to begin the day right away then! The first thing to do, was Heart make a rearange in his team. The party he made for the continue journey to Teazel was:

Honedge
Koa
Typhon
Natu
D-Onix
Patrat

Heart also find some way to get a license to carry a Egg with him without keep a space in his party, and a incubator to keep Moltres warm.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

Spira sends this message to the University:
And Spira's current team consists of Noire, Hida, Nubi, Luna, Toya, Mero, and the Pumpkaboo Egg. As a breeder, he already has the license necessary to carry eggs in combination w/ a full team. And if need be, he'd also would send a letter to the League Base in Forb concerning the Skull Ruins stating that as a trainer and breeder that specializes in Ghost-Types, he'd like to have access to the Ruins to study (and train against/with) the Ghost Pokemon there.

"Hello Spira, my name is Professor Henry Quickbeam. Alolan Marowak is a very interesting Pokemon. I'm quite interested in Ghost and Dark type Pokemon, and other Pokemon with immunities. I'm willing to cover the cost of Obedience Daycare for your Marowak in return for being permitted to study it five nights a week. The money will come out of my grant with Telperion University; as such, all research would be overseen by our university ethics committee. In ten days, Obedience Daycare will see results comparable to six days at Adventure Camp (that means 2 points of Loyalty). In two weeks total, another milestone of results is usually observed (2 weeks = 3 points of Loyalty). My Public Key is MIGf-MA0G-CSqG-SIb3-DQEB-AQUA-A4GN-ADCB-iQKB-gQC8-fQF7 if you'd like to transfer Marowak to me temporarily."

"Trainer Spira,
I am called Staircarver, a clerk at the League Office for Skull Ruins Preservation. We do not normally grant permits for the purpose of training or of obtaining wild Pokemon. We do issue permits for research projects for the benefit of mankind. What did you plan to study exactly?"
Sounds like there'll be some paperwork.

"...got enough rest.  Just...*yawn*...trying to readjust.  Was studying for the Breeder's License exam, too.  Don't want to pass it with a minimum score."

Indeed, his notes are rather wordy.  There's more concepts than numbers in the world of pokemon breeding, after all.

(....)

"...sure, that shouldn't take too long.  Lemme see here...where'd I put Ditto's pokeball...?"

A minute or two later, Ditto's come out!  Except...

*ruff!  Awoooooo!!*

...what comes out of the pokeball doesn't look like a Ditto, but a very scruffy and wild looking Mightyena.

"...are you able to Transform into Gallade real quick?  Terra needs to make a quick trip to Stair."

Dittoena gives Nathan a funny look which also simultaneously looks a little disappointed for some weird reason.

"...I guess that's a no, then?"  *sigh*  "...alright, I guess Gallade's just going to have to do it, then...thank you for your help yesterday, though, Ditto, it's very appreciated."

Ditto is recalled.  Gallade looks at Terra and nods.  Whenever he's ready, Gallade will Teleport him to Stair and back.

(...)

"...uh...if it's a private talk, later might be better, I guess..."

Nathan's not entirely sure what Terra would need to talk about with him though, to be honest...

Botanville~ *sob* I look forward to having Shiva visit that University there for info and Pangoro.

She was just paging through a classification book for Chreshire's flora when Shiva found Purrloin practically STARING at something displayed in the booth next to her, her tail twitching and her body faintly prepared to leap at something. Naturally this caught her curiosity, so she approached her black cat to see what 'prey' she has found there, Petilil loyaly and eagerly following. So many people here, gotta stay close to mother! >o<;

Upon having spotted a little bird crafted from three different Berries, Shiva had to hold back an amused laughter. What a cute lil' thing, and what a perfect gift for her special and natural cat!~ "You'd like to have that- *points to the Berry Bird* -, don't you? NO, don't even TRY to steal it, Purrloin! That's nothing a well-mannered Pokemon does. I've got enough cash with me that this isn't even necessary. Alright? ^^"

Means, 600$ are passed and the Berry Bird is directly given to Purrloin to hold in return for the Weavile Feather! It'll be a Chesto Berry (head+beak) for now. I now feel like drawing a Purrloin with a caught bird in its mouth once I have the time and am not tired.

275$ are also spend for one purple-branded Premium Ball.

That'll be all, Shiva will wander into the Center after shopping, rearrange her party a bit and wait for the group to depart. Purrloin, Raphael and Cottonee are currently by her side.

If we don't manage to settle whether we'll teleport or not/loan that Wiggly from Tanuki (which I'm much in favour to, Wiggly could be more of an Ally/Follower instead of a party member of someone?), I'm fine with walking too. Or Terra, me and Spira fly once more on Angie while Nathan and Heart teleport. That's all, I get some late dinner now and head to bed soon.

Now then, as for Nathan's preparations for the trip to Teazel Valley...

- First off $1750 will be spent on that Breeder's License exam.  Nathan can definitely pass it, but how well does he do exactly since he just spent a bunch of time refreshing himself on the material?

- Nathan also needs to sell the Shiny Dwebble Shells he got from Terra.  There's 6 of them, so provided Nathan can sell them, that's $9000.  Before I can get to Nathan's shopping, I need to know if selling the shells needs some kind of RP.

- Nathan also takes the Rock Tomb TM he found and teaches it to D?-Tropius!  Hopefully she likes learning another Rock type move, particularly since this move can very easily be used defensively.

"Empathy Research? That could perhaps be approved. It takes two days to process an application, and we'd need to know all the members of your party both Human and Pokemon. We can approve up to 3 days at a time, with extensions available. Just let me know and fill out the attached paperwork when you have a date in mind."

5 Knowledge + 0 Science + 2 dice for brushing up with Marta.
(6)(2)(4)(2)(2)(5) (2)

There's a few things on the test that were less practical and more theoretical, and Nathan didn't get all of those. Some of them he was able to deduce even though he'd never studied those topics before. He got everything that was practical, so he ended up with maybe an 88% on this somewhat stringent test. That's considered pretty good but not a score that would catch a university's attention.

Plenty of people in Cress would take those Dwebble shells, so that can be automatic.

D?-Tropius gains 1 point of Loyalty. She loves having a massive moveset, both destructive and defensive. To gain that final point for obedience, you're gonna need something more special.
