Might need some aerial vision." Heart release then Honcrown and Heracross. He also release Ambipom for better manager in trees. "Guys, time for us to work together. We are trying to find a gold furr Sawbuck. It's have shiny white colors so it's pretty much difficult to miss. Do not attack him, just inform me about his location. Honcrown and Heracross will patrol from the sky for his location. Ambipom, use the trees to balance around and have a vision of his location."

Heart then look at Viktor. "Viktor, use your power power of control trees to make obstacles to make SawsmSaw path more difficult for to get a chance to get closer."

Sawsbuck has already pulled wayyyy ahead. It's very very very fast. Honchkrow and Heracross work hard at patrolling for Sawsbuck, but it looks like this is going to take some time.

Around Teazel Valley. Its more problably to be there. If he didnt get luck in find Sawsbuck there, he gonna search around the Safari. Honchkrow and Heracross still gonna continue patrol the skies to find any problably location of the Shiny Sawsbuck.

There is any of roll to see if Heart find any clue about Sawsbuck location like foot in the ground who might give a clue of where he is. Maybe a roll of Knowledge (3) + Survival (3) + Nature (2) = 8D6

The better bait adds a dice to your Survival rolls when using the Super Rod. So each bait is one roll, one use of the rod, whether you catch a Pokemon or not.

Brazen gives you her number.

There's a PC in Teazel Valley, so swarm it is! By the second Encounter slot, some other folks have come and Fainted a lot of the dangerous Weedle. There are also Sunkern in vast numbers, but they don't seem to be as much of a threat. There are still dozens of Weedle up and moving, and people are mopping up the rest. A lot of the Sunkern have sustained serious Bug Bites from the Weedle. Meanwhile, the Sunkern are crowding out other plants and beginning to Ingrain in the rich soil of the valley. They spread their little leaves and soak up as much sunlight as they can.

First, Ambipom notices a dainty hoofprint, though Sawsbuck almost seems to fly across the ground! Next, Heracross (on foot) finds a broken twig. He's not a strong flier at all. Finally, Honchkrow lazily circles back after quite some time, and you eventually persuade him to lead you to something he apparently found twenty minutes ago and didn't feel like telling you about - a little scrap of golden-white fur caught on a thorn bush. So far, Sawsbuck has just headed deeper and deeper into the woods.

Let's do an Alert roll now.

"Dang it." Say Heart frustrated with not be able to get that Sawsbuck. But there was one last thing to do. Perhaps the only thing who could do. "I have one last idea." Heart release Nidorina and Viktor from their Pokeballs. "There is one last thing I would want to try. It is more difficult to find Sawsbuck around this forest because of the darkness of this night...but I have a slight idea about what to do." Heart then ask Ambipom to lead him to the top of the trees. "Nidorina, I want you to use the move Moonlight. Send a really strong one as much you can, something who light most of the part of the forest. As much you can. This might distract Sawsbuck from his running when seeing such Moonlight, and the light will help you guys to find him. And maybe this will be able to blind him enough time. Viktor, when that happen use your plants to trap him, use Confuse to confuse him. Confused, this might stopping him from run. Honrchkrow, Heracross try to Grab him when you meet him. None of you have the permission to hurt him. Nidorina, if possible, also use Lovely Kiss to make him fall sleep."

If possible of course to use this course of actions. This gonna be my last trying in find that Sawsbuck. Hope this works...

Hmmm...well, seeing as Nathan's got a little bit of time to kill after dropping Orthros off with Nurse Joy, I think his second encounter is going to be a simple training session for Gallade, Swiftfire, and Emolga. (Do they gain 1 xp or 2?)

Zippy and Princess, meanwhile, get to go do their usual Honey Gathering and familiarize themselves with the area, collecting 4 units of Honey by the time they return.

I'm thinking I might start tutoring another move for Nathan's 3rd encounter.  I just need to decide which one and if I'm going to try and enlist some help...

Shiva isn't allowed to try catching that Scolipede even if she'd want to.

She's very relieved that everything went well concerning the poisonous Scolipede as she lets out that breath she was unconsciously holding in a long sigh. Even got away without any damage done by the huge centipede! Still, the natural fae enthusiast's cautious as she passes the area with her eyes kept on the tree Scolipede was hiding in - just in case - and only allows herself to relax properly upon having reached the top of the grassy slope.

Up there, Shiva takes a bit of time to praise Delphox for his magnificent attack and lets him have a handful of dried Berries and spicy kibble, knowing that using Blast Burn requires a lot from the Pokemon. "You've grown so much, my fierly fox...", she tells him as she lets herself fall backwards into the grass, "I still remember you being a small Fennekin. And now look at yourself, being able to fire off such a powerful move! All due to...traveling..." With a flick of Shiva's hand Nightshade joins the scenery and bathes the area in pleasant sunlight via her characteristic Sunny Day Move to do so, everyone - including Primal Glaceon - can enjoy the energetic rays. The icy Eeveelution naturally stays out and is allowed to observe the natural wonders from the top of the grassy hill. Or use Ancient Power once more just because, Shiva probably noticed that he enjoys that move.

Onwards then after a few minutes, now to the things Shiva has found.

Assuming Shiva isn't killed by Scolipede, she does find something called a Pecha Gall. It's a mutation by a Pecha Berry bush, causing it to grow a large round woody growth. These often appear to have knobbly faces hidden within them, and they can also be carved like you'd carve wood - if you have a delicate chisel and a steady hand. Bonus points, the juice of the gall is usable as an ingredient in medicines to heal Confusion.

She finds one more thing in Area 4, almost into Area 5. It's a feather, but it's very special. It almost looks like one of Dunseraph's new feathers, but scintillating pink. Or a little like Togekiss down. Anyway, it's perfectly formed, perfectly intact, and unbelievably light. To Shiva, it can be nothing but the feather of an angel! She found it in a scattering of Gloom petals.

Rarity roll: (2)(5) Just one success. You find a Reppetree, which bears ultra-spicy fruits useful in making Pepper Spray. You find enough to craft one unit of spray.

That gall she spotted when investigating that Pecha Berry bush is something Shiva has never seen in real before, but has read about once or twice. All carefully to not accidently damage the bush she cuts that gall off and packs it away, thinkining about what she may carve from it - a steady hand she has and a delicate chisel she can always buy if those in her crafting supplies are too rugged. She also still has those Ivory Nuts from the rainforest to live out her inner artist!~

That FEATHER she eventually finds however - that lil' thing can almost be too good to be true, Shiva handles it extremely careful, protective and mindful as this was a pure treasure for her. She'll take it indeed as a feather of an angel and is completely thrilled to bits to have what seems like a proof that they exist, but is a bit confused by that finding as well. She'll probably show it to the Fortune Hunter, a Medium or basically someone who appears knowledgable in the field of myths and fairytales when there's an opportunity. And to her Pokemon of course!

Shiva doesn't dare trying one of the fruit from the Reppetree, but maybe Delphox as a Fire Type might enjoy the spiciness. (She'll let him eat one if he likes.) That Pepper Spray made from it will be useful to defend herself, can it be used for Natural Gift as well?


I got an idea also what Shiva could search for specifically during downtime of Ranger duties or when re-visiting the Safari Zone after the Cup (if there'll be time and opportunity):
- Aromatic Herb, she or a sensitive Pokemon might notice the strong scent?
- Power Herb, she knows the smell of it thanks to Dizzy.

Did Shiva expend all her Encounter Slots then by that last gathering or is there still room to do anything within the Safari Zone? Been trying to keep 3rd Encounter free for Tutoring for Terra, but we'll just delay it if there's no time or energy left to do that. Sorry, dear! Could she take a slow walk through the Safari Zone back towards the exit, keeping her eye open for anything interesting?

When Nidorina uses Moonlight in the clearing, you glimpse a magical, near-invisible outline of Sawsbuck, as if the Pokemon was temporarily made out of starlight. It only lasts a second, then fades.


Some kind of Earthpower is protecting Sawsbuck at the moment, it seems. There may be a way around it, or some condition that has to be met.

Swiftfire and Emolga gain 2XP due to the nature of Teazel Valley. Gallade gets 1XP.

Princess is looking around very intently during her mission, as though this might be a good place to make a home or enlist some other bees. You do see two other male Combee watching her. Zippy acts protective and jealous, in case they want to seduce her rather than serve her.

A Reppe Berry can be a Fire type Natural Gift, but it's much worse than a Lum Berry, having only 1 power.

Delphox doesn't really want to eat it because there is too much capsaicin in there even for a Fire type. It'd need to be cored of its seeds and maybe boiled a little first. Then he'll eat one.

Aromatic and Power Herbs will be available in the Safari Zone. Aromatic is known to exist quite rarely in Area 6, and Power Herb can be found in 5 and 6.

You're out of Slots, but you can still spend a little time. The most interesting thing you see on your slow walk out is a rare Girafarig, this one with a very long Normal-type neck. It's monching on some tall acacia leaves, which are packed with nutrients. You also hear the characteristic sound of a Pyroar coming from Area 5.
