Heart, you will be facing Bug Catcher Harvey - but he promises he doesn't exclusively use bugs.

Heart nod in agreement. He grab both of his Safari Pokeballs and say a few words. "Hmm, even so, maybe we could begin with something simple I guess. Kanghaskan go!" Heart then bring the Old Kanghaskan to the battlefield. Since Heart have zero idea what the Bug Catcher mean, better have a bulky Pokemon to take care of whatever this guy have store.

Doduo: (4)
Tangela: (2) + 3 Dex + 4 Survival = 9

Well, Nathan certainly does, even though he's seen more than enough Tangrowth already as it is.  "Not bad.  Tangela aren't super common around here.  Of course, we both know this isn't just about how rare the pokemon you've caught is.  Doduo, hope you're ready to battle! Don't overdo it, though, or we'll both be in big trouble, got it?"

Nathan's here to try and win this battle!  And Doduo...Doduo isn't a pokemon that lets anyone sleep!

Uproar 1
Acc: 6 + 4 + 3 - 4 Actions = 9 D6
Dmg: 3 + 4 + STAB = 8 D6 base
Effect: No pokemon can fall asleep for the rest of the Round! (meaning Sleep Powder will fail if Tangela attempts to use it)
Effect 2: Flinch (1) due to FoHR

Drill Peck 2, 3, and 4 (non-lethal) (and as Doduo has 1 Loyalty and 1 Disobedience, she's obedient, so this isn't a huge risk!)
Acc: 13 - 5/6/7 = 8/7/6 D6
Dmg: 8 D6 base + 1 damage
Effect: Flinch (1) due to FoHR

Spira cracks his knuckles then smirks. "This ought to be fun. Ok Beedrill, let's start off with a Focus Energy, then follow that up Fury Attack, and if it appears to be weak, finish it off with Fell Stinger, but be prepared to counter with Assurance at any time!"
let's hope the Beedrill obeys those complex orders!

Focus Energy
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Canalize-4 Actions= 8D6
Notes: All my moves have High Critical until the end of the scene

Fury Attack
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Brawl-2 Penalty-4 Actions= 6D6
Damage: Strength+1= 4D6
Notes: Successive Actions

Fell Stinger
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Brawl-4 Actions= 7D6
Damage: Strength+1+STAB= 5D6
Notes: +2 to ATK if it faints the opponent, used if Nidorino has 3 or less HP

Assurance
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Brawl-4 Actions= Depends on when in the round it happens, may affect other accuracy pools
Damage: Strength+2= 5D6
Notes: Add 2D6 to the damage pool if the user has taken damage from the target that round, used after a particularly damaging movethat takes a pretty big chunk out of Beedrill's HP. (3 or more damage)

He's got a Pikachu - not the Delta version.

Kanga: (4) + 8 = 12

Let's have a Flaaffy!
(3) = 10, Doduo is still first.

Gotta love that +10 Initiative bonus.  The odds of this Ace Trainer outspeeding Nathan are somewhere in the realm of around 10% or so. And even if Doduo is hit with Paralysis or Cotton Spore, she still won't be slower than the sheep.

Doduo's orders for this round:

Uproar, then Double Hit!  Doduo probably isn't going to last for more than one attack against this Flaaffy, so let's try and make her time out count!  Soften up the sheep, hopefully don't get KOed, then hit back to hopefully finish it off!

Uproar 1
Acc: 13 - 3 Actions - 1 Pain = 9 D6
Dmg: 5 D6
Eff: Flinch (1), No sleep for the rest of the Round

Double Hit 2 and 3
Acc: 13 - 1 Acc - 1 Pain - 4/5 = 7/6 D6
Dmg: 2 + 4 + STAB - 3 = 4 D6 per hit
Eff: Double action!
Effect 2: Each hit has a 1 CD chance to Flinch Flaaffy out of its next action!

'Everyone'... This probably - or rather: certainly - does include the audience and spectators, and Shiva soon feels a bit overwhelmed by the sheer anticipation and eager the crowd is radiating from all sides. She's able to 'sense' all of that pretty real and unadorned, it's like a wave is crushing into her without any mercy and is threathening to carry her alone without asking whether she is fine with it at all! It's much, muuuch different than watching a Cup or League Battle at home on the screen with a bowl of snacks and Spectral cuddled up to her, but not necessarily in a bad way: Quite the contrary, the chances that Shiva soon will enjoy this event are pretty good. The only thing that she may be unprepared for is to see violent rampages and harsh disobediance from sides of the freshly-caught Pokemon, but she also can't help but to be a bit curious to see what the participants have caught and how they'll handle their new catches.

She'll keep Angela's company if she's fine with it, enjoy being with another lover of Fairy Types. If there's enough room and if it's allowed, all of Shiva's current Pokemon on hand are out to watch as well, with Nightshade safely nestled on her shoulder and between strands of her Master's hair and Raphael gliding across the sky in raw and unrestricted freedom. Shiva hasn't made it yet to return the first aid kit she has been given for her duties as a Volunteer Ranger - partly because there wasn't any time to do that yet, partly because she wanted to quick-ask whether she can keep that Sawsbuckknife while doing so. Such a useful and precious tool!

-----------------------
I won't bother to bring up reactions for Shiva on everything, but instead keep these for selected and interesting happenings; in short for these who it appears reasoned for her to act, say or think something. Something like a very unexpected occurance, an obvious Deltamon, a strong-looking challenger appearing.
I've got a small question as well, @Iron: Is she able to see all of the rolled out battles, only few, do they happen all at once and are scattered across the whole area, or is it more like only two people are battling at the same time and that they're rolled out simultaneously is more for practical's sake? Just would like to know in order to not have her react on something that she technically isn't possible to witness.
