Lunatone looks OK, just down a couple HP. 


When you ask about things that are out of this world, Lunatone uses its nose to point into space. 

If that doesn't seem to answer your question, Lunatone does a reenactment! He flies up to the edge of sight, then comes flying down at high speed. He lands (gently) in the crater. He rolls about, like he's doing some work. He indicates the Safari Zone. Then, he launches himself back up into "space."

He looks down to see if you understand.

If Lunatone is fine, then Terra doesn't have to worry about their condition and use up Potions on them! Horray!

The cosmic's crescent's first 'explanation' is indeed too oblique for the sagely monk to understand, but their subsequent performance does click with him, causing his eyes to light up as he nodded his head.

"Oh.......they went back home, yes? Hm....glad to hear that. Hope they are okay now."

With that being said, he gestured to the crater, appearing curious and inquisitive.

"They may be gone, but did they.......leave anything behind here? Something special.....or not? Can you lead me to that, if it......exists?"

Regardless of the answer, Terra made another offer to the micro moon, this one more personal in nature.

"Lunatone, would you like to join my team? Do not have to worry about Staryu or other Pokemon from bullying you again. Not sure I would use you, but I promise to find you good home and person to look after you."

Lunatone doesn't seem very interested in joining your team, though it's thankful for the offer and the help. Maybe it can accompany you during the rest of your Safari Zone time.

Well, if Lunatone doesn't want to come along, then Terra will respect its wishes, giving them an understanding nod.

"Okay. You can.....stay with me for as long as you like, though, and I will keep you safe until I have to leave Safari Zone. *Nods* Least I can do for you, Lunatone."

Though it may be rare, he DOES refrain from catching rare or interesting Pokemon if given a good reason or out of kindness/compassion. He's rugged and pragmatic, but he's not without a heart!

When the cosmic crescent leads him to the sizable deposit of MSC, the steely brawler's eyes spark with interest and appreciation, and he turns to give a thankful nod/smile to his new companion. He then brings out the Digging Tools he has a gets to work excavating the MSC, along with the roots and other stuff with Pixie's help with cleaving them away! The chuck of MSC was not precisely what he had in mind discovering in the crater, but he was none the less happy with it and wanted to acquire it for himself!

If that doesn't take an Encounter to get the MSC (Or Geo doesn't interrupt and prevent said acquisition), Terra will spend his last Encounter of the day exploring the deepest parts of the Safari Heartlands Crater, keeping on eye on Lunatone to see if something catches their interest/something catches interest in them. Since he now knows rare/unusual Pokemon lurk underground here after Encountering Giga Whiscash, he'll recall Pixie and summon Angie to go Digging through the earth to help him find such hidden gems, with Dunny helping out be phasing through the ground to help search too. Might as well maximize the odds of finding quality Pokemon here, right?

As for Heart's text.......well, I'll say between Terra's awe of the S.H. and digging up the MSC that he completely misses it, and so will be left out of the loop regrading Cress getting partially leveled for a little longer. Otherwise, he'd drop everything and meet with the group about this, which I personally don't want to happen when I still have one or more Encounters in the S.Z. left (If Iron lets/allows Terra stay up through the night searching for Pokemon) to catch more Pokemon to sell/keep/share with the group later. Hopefully everyone won't be too worried by his absence.....

Also, would Posei possibly find a King's Rock or something similar here, Iron? If there is anywhere else in the Safari Zone that has such things, the S.H. Crater is one of them!

As Heart begins to theorize pretty openly about the prophecy his psychic bird made, Shiva listens with interest but eventually shakes her head: Not directly to disagree as her light smile seems to tell, but more in a way to silently say that she doesn't wish to speak her thoughts out loudly at the moment. She hugs her notebook a bit more close and quickly packs it away before it becomes awkward. Hehe!~ ^//^;


++ Flashforward to the third Encounter ++

It's still somewhat suprising for the natural fae enthusiast that anyone would directly as her for a battle, a battle against HER who doesn't feel that experienced in the field of Pokemon Battles as the others of the group seem to be. It's a bit embarassing for her, but a good portion of her is delighted over a request to be an opponent in a battle - and this shows as Shiva seems to be enthusiastic about this fight against Heart! She's smiling faintly even. :>

She's not too sure whether she's able to stand a chance against him however, she still appears to have the issues about her lagging behind a bit when it comes to Pokemon Fights - by now she knows that she doesn't lag behind as much as she believed she does. Her way to battle is just different than the one of the others!

Alola Vulpix is brought into Shiva's party in return for Helios, Items are switched around and a place somewhere in Teazel Valley is found that's ideal for the upcoming battle. A mild wind is blowing through Shiva's long hair and Cottonee's fluff, stirring up a few spring leaves across the place as the duo is waiting for the PUNisher to arrive at the scenery. A minimized Pokeball is already in her hand, her arms are loosely crossed, Cottonee quickly hops off of her dear Master's head and takes a place in front of her as she boldly stares up to Heart: 'Now come on, summon your dragon! I'll SLAY 'em faster than you can say 'dragonscale'!!~', the fluffball seems to speak.

"I... I can't say that I'm not a bit suprised about your desire to face me in a battle, Heart...", Shiva speaks up and has to avert her gaze to a super-interesting patch of grass beside her feet and fidgets a bit on the ribbon of her shirt, "But I much appreciate that as well. T-thank you! Well, let us start then, shall we?"

With a graceful movement of her hand an entirely white fox manifests from the tossed Ball, lightfootedly it lands on the ground beside the just as white wad of cotton. As the icy Vulpix spreads her six tails and raises her nose to point upwards for a moment as if to say 'Look at my precious and neat furcoat~',  clouds began to gather.

Heart was very much excited to this battle. When comes to his friends in terms of rivalry, he felt such bond related to Shiva. She help Heart very much in the past, even if he didnt speak direct to her. He also feel that rivalry between them maybe help Shiva a lot to grown as a person and trainer. Trainers can understand better the heart of each other though battle.

When Koa get out of the Pokeball, he lock eyes in Cottonee. He unleash his claws and let out a defied roar. Its a look who mean: 'Prepare yourself fairy! Lets settle the rivalry between fairies and dragons today!'. At least this what Heart could pick up from Koa actions.

"Heh, this kind reminds me the first battle we fight between us Shiva. I must confess I very much excited and hyped for this battle. Koa and Cottonee almost looks like ying and yang: Two sides of the same coin. Two different styles of battle and act. Koa its a dragon, with a more ferocious act of battling. Cottonee is a fairy, a more calm and focus Pokemon. Its more or less like us two. I someone who dance around the fire emotions of my heart. And you a calm and strategic trainer. But despite that, we are friends and rivals, so whatever happened in this battle know I respect you and consider you a great friend of mine. And I show my grown as trainer, person and friend in this battle!"

When Heart see A-Vulpix he was clearly very much happy! "Wow. Alola Vulpix. In my opinion one of the most beautiful and gracious Pokemon to exist. And one of the most incredible fairies. Thats gonna be a tough battle." Heart then release Atlas. When Atlas see both Cottonee and Vulpix he punch one punch to another and one of his hands he begin to channel a punch made of shadows like this one:



And he punch the ground to show his big strengh. "Shiva, meet Atlas. My titan in training. Like your Panchan, he is also armed with Iron First, so better expect him to deliver some punch in this battle. He is also equipped to 4 types of punchs: Shadow Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, and Thunder Punch." Atlas show that summoning each of those elemental punch in his arms to show his great strengh. "He is very much prepared to face Grass and Ice types very much."

"As for Koa..." Koa show his claws, and show his Draconic Claws. "He develop a new ability when he evolved: Mold Breaker. The ability to hit the unhit. Ground to hit Flying. Normal and Fight hit ghosts...and Dragons to hit Fairies. His most powerfull STAB moves can finally hit Cottonee, so you better be ready Cottonee and A-Vulpix! Because its time for dragons and ghosts show what they are made!"

"I know about the Axew-Line being capable of using their STAB-moves against Fairy Types in some cases, Heart. Good call! But you have to come up with more than that, haha. ^^ Ready, my two dear ones? Don't let yourself be intimidated by the foe's displays of power. Listen to my words, stay focused and make this battle something instructive!"

Well, Spira's stayin in Teazel for the time being, if he's still able, 1 last training session with Toya, then in to response to Heart's message, he'll send a I'll be there as soon as I'm able. He'll then wait for Nathan so they can teleport to Cress together.

Nah, not gonna cancel it.  Nathan literally jumps for joy in the excitement, punching the air ala Mario as the evolution completes and the now fully evolved Char launches a celebratory (Blaze boosted and probably rather impressive looking) Flamethrower into the air as well!  Raaaawwwrrr!!!

Now that the tables have been turned, Nathan's got a confident smile on his face now as he turns to face Angela again from across the Sea of Fire.  "Two down, one to go.  So, who's coming out onto the battlefield next, Angela?  I know what I'm doing!"

Nathan is NOT switching.  He and Charizard are in a good position as the Sea of Fire rages across the battlefield.

"You're doing really well, as I expected. Time to bring out the best Pokemon I use for Gym Battles, and one of my oldest friends. My dearest confidant...Gardevoir!"

Gardevoir appears, clutching her hands together. She looks very confident.

Gardevoir: (6) + 10 = 16 Even Angela's best roll can't beat Charizard (without buffs), since she doesn't use her Gym Badges to buff her stats in challenger battles.

The roots keep on wriggling and growing long after they're uprooted, but you can add rooted MSC chunk to your inventory.

Sounds like Terra would be more likely to find rare minerals and items than Pokemon with this strategy, even if it's not exactly what he plans. Let's find out!


Aggro: (4) You find a Boldore, though it isn't willing to mess with Posei.

Rarity: (5)(2)(6) You find another $750 worth of MSC, and a tiny underground cave covered in pictographs! Sure enough, some of them depict Deoxys wandering what seems to be Teazel Valley, sorting out various groups of Pokemon and corraling them there with fences. Geo whistles. "I think this is an unknown find. We should report it to the Cress Museum or something."

The pictographs also depict 9 separate meteor events, with Pokemon gathering around them. In order, they are:

-Staryu

-Clefairy
-A Pokemon Terra doesn't recognize
