[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Spira, despite being in a hurry, he's the second to last one to the scene. "*huff* *huff* Sorry, it's... been awhile... since I had to run like that." After catching his breath, Spira lets Toya out of his pokeball to see if there is anything that he can pick up on.

Angela shows up after about five minutes, teleporting on a Wigglytuff and striding over. She doesn't bother to introduce herself to Heart and she just nods professionally to Shiva.

Shiva gives both Mika and Angela + their resective Pokemon a kind hand gesture of welcoming to silently say 'Fancy seeing you here', which Lilith mildly mirrors. She's not suprised that the latter has come as well to the scene. Currently Shiva doesn't have anything to say though and leaves Heart to answer Nathan's questions, she keeps herself attentive, watchful and calm despite the ongoing ruccus.

Getting put to Sleep and then promptly being Poisoned didn't serve to bolster Terra's disposition any towards his odious opponents, as he glowered at them all with a disintictly unamused expressed that was equal parts discouraging and frightening. 

'Hrm.....was right about giant red stinky flowers. Have lots of Status Moves. Need to stop them, or they will cripple everyone with Sleep soon. Only have one more Chesto Berry, so have to be careful too...'

With that 'pleasent' thought in mind, the rugged wander quickly motioned for Mikey to get in front of him/Geo while delivering his next commands to them and Pixie!

"Mikey, guard me and Geo from Sleep Powder! Pixie, Taunt them all, then come guard us too! Stop their Status now!"

Orders: Michael is going to dedicate 4 Actions to expressively Block/Cover Terra and Geo from getting Sleep Powdered (And Poison Powdered, in the case of Geo), while Pixie is going to be Taunting every single one of those Vilplume to put an end to their Status Shenanigans, before coming back to also guard the humans from attack. In the meantime, Terra will be continuing to toss out Safari Balls every Round to catch those poisonous plants (or try to), and if Pixie falls asleep she'll be getting an Awakening to cure it ASAP. Additionally, Terra also has palmed his last Chesto Berry for his use, just in case his mushroom of champions flubs it. I want all of them plucked and potted, so we shall endure their Status and forge onwards, though hopefully not for long!

She has dropped her habitual mocking tone and is taking this very seriously. "I could go talk to the Rangers and catch up with you."

One of the Corporals recognizes your vague physical similarity to Oscar. He shakes his head and makes the other officers let you approach the crime scene.

"Sorry, kid. No sign of Oscar, if that's who you're looking for. But hey, that might be a good sign, with how destructive this collapse was. A few household Pokemon were killed in the collapse."

Heart and Shiva would probably show up shortly after.

"...coming along might be a good idea, yeah.  Definitely talk to the Rangers first so they don't have to worry about a potential missing person, though.  See ya there, I guess."

Nathan gets a little huffy as the officer calls him 'kid'.  He holds up his newly earned Staurolite badge.  "...5 gym badges, including Angela's.  I am not a 'kid', sir."  When Nathan sees Heart and Shiva, he rapidly makes his way over to them.  Calam's still remaining vigilant and close to Nathan.  This situation is raising all sorts of red flags for him...

Nathan immediately bombards Heart with questions, once again a little frantically.  "Heart, what the heck happened?  Any sign of my uncle or Keni?  Any idea why this happened?" (@Spiritmon)

When Heart and Shiva finally arrive after the ritual pyre for Moltres Egg, Heart nod his head towards Angela (not knowing she is a Gym Leader) and approach Nathan to tell the whole story. "Basically, I was making a rock roll show close here when I see a huge crowd of people in this place. When I approach I find this place in this huge chaos. Shiva arrive after, and we both find some sort of photo..." Then Heart ask the photo with hood guy with a gautlet. 

"The cops say a really strong Pokemon have level this blocks...I afraid the Scimitars have they Evil actions again...I really sorry Nathan. Before Shiva come, my Natu evolved to Xatu and recipe some sort of profecy. And Gothitele say your uncle might still alive." Heart then approach Nathan and put a hand in his shoulder. "I swear, we gonna rescue him. And those Scimitars will pay for the day they crossed our path."

Spira looks rather grim when Toya gives him that smile, then shares that information with the rest of the party that is there. "Damn. Looks like there were casualties from this attack after all, Pokemon casualties, you said Scimitars were behind this attack? Those punks are nothing but a bunch of gangsters that will do anything, no matter how low to reach their goals." It's pretty obvious that any respect or sympathy for the Scimitars that Spira may of had is fully gone.

Gallade...I'm actually not entirely sure how strongly he might react.  He obviously reacts, but...how exactly does he react, @Iron? Is it particularly notable, or just the same kind of reaction he'd usually have for any old Scim?

As for Nathan, he goes silent for a moment after hearing what both Heart and Spira have to say.  He clenches his fist.  Flashes of both pained and angry expressions are obviously present.  He's on the verge of tears, though there isn't any one emotion that could be used to explain why.  Eventually, he utters more of his thoughts and his questions.  "...so they...th-they kidnapped my uncle...and Keni...?  Why?  Why?!  Why did they do this?!  And what did Xatu's prophecy say?"

(OOC note: I don't think anybody's explained to Spira that Keni is the same person they saved in 1925 yet. Maybe Spira can hypothesize that he is, though?
OOC Note 2: You guys also might want to explain to Nathan what the card Shiva found does and that Keni's art is missing.)

(We flashed forward to our battle Spirit, means timewise making the pyre together takes place later tonight after everything in Cress. Just so you know!)


Shiva coughs. "It's.... It's actually not a photo, you two, please have a look yourself what I and Heart have dug up..." She looks around a bit nervously as if she doesn't really want the cops to notice and possible take it away as an evidence, but she trusts Angela, then carefully retrives the True Card. "Look at it, take it in your own hand for a moment - Can you feel it? Compare it with a real card from Keni. There's something... something curious about this card, it's missing a portion of its unique 'magic'. It seems unfinished. Still, if you remember how a card of him brought us back to Cress from the inner of Mount Sentry, I'm positive it'll be useful when time and opportunity call for it." She pauses for a moment as a downcasted, pained expression washes over all subtly. "The special touch his other artworks radiate - gone, GONE it is, like a Whimsicott that has been taken by a gust of wind during a warm autumn night. His house - it feels so E-M-P-T-Y." It's giving Shiva shivers, but she ignores these at the moment.

She probably doesn't have to point these hooded people on the image of the card out, Shiva stares at them with a stoic and unreadable expression for long seconds. "It were THEM.... Dear Lilith here was able to confirm, she told me. She told me about a new disaster - one that's more personal yet very different. 'Maybe' Keni and your uncle are safe she also let me know... I wrote the prophecy down, you could copy it from me also if you like. It's a... telling one....", she concludes before holding back a knowing smile.

"It... It's probably best if we'd resume our traveling towards West soon, now that the Safari Cup has ended", she drops. A calm nod from Gothy underlines Shiva's words, there must be something about Elanor that cannot yet be captured - Though if her gothloli fortune teller is interested in heading there, the natural fae enthusiast is all up for that.

"Heart, they are not just that. They might follow the goal we do possibly, their methods are just drastically different than ours. They.... These Scimitars - They have ideals and motivations too, they're human and no hollow husks. They wouldn't just abduct some people, kill innocent household Pokemon and almost destroy a building just because they're bored."

She says that all calmly and not in a scolding tone, she must feel uncomfortable to downgrade the Scimitars to some random criminals. No, Shiva thinks they know what they're doing for sure.
