The wheels are turning in Nathan's head as he tries to piece this together...

"...Dizzy...he found that card...took it from a Scimitar presumably...maybe...maybe they're trying to take advantage of his artwork...if the cards can Teleport people...they could...they could use that to get around virtually unnoticed...they must have...they must have destroyed the place to try and cover their tracks...kidnapped the witnesses to keep them quiet...or they're...they're...purposely trying to...to attack me since I've been getting in their way..."  While Shiva's right that the Scimitars wouldn't cause this amount of destruction for no reason, there's not really any question about how heartless and cruel such ruthless actions can be...

Again, Nathan's fist is clenched and there's pained and angry expressions on his face as he's on the verge of tears.

He's already lost his dad.  And now he might have lost his uncle too?  He and his uncle weren't super close, but...Nathan still cares for him.  They're still family, after all.

A single tear trickles down one side of Nathan's face as he looks down at the ground.  "...damn them.  Damn those Scimitars and their selfish, self-righteous beliefs...how far...are they willing...to go to achieve...their goals...*sob*...?"

Calam's a little more stoic, but there's a veeerrrry serious look in his eyes, particularly when he stares at the scene of the crime. He's spent his entire life fighting these criminals...he's not going to let them get away with this...

When I lost then, I never in my life feel so alone and heart broken as that day...knowi kn that my friend have... gone."

Gallade looks from Nathan to Calam and both Pokemon nod grimly. In their opinion, a line has been crossed and the Scimitars cannot be allowed to remain unpunished any longer. Whatever it takes. Calam looks particularly confident for some reason. These two are ready to stop reacting and to actively make war.

Calam is not in the mood to be cuddly and comforting. Gallade, of course, can read Nathan's emotions and be exactly what he needs.


Angela wanders up with an Officer Jenny. "Hey guys. Jenny says a place called the Shack was also robbed. I'm feeling some kind of connection to this other crime, how about you?"

Nathan starts a little when Angela says that, and the gears start turning in his head again.  "...the trading card shack...yeah, that sounds like it's connected...if they kidnapped Keni to try and take advantage of his cards, they'd probably also want to get their hands on anything he'd done...and the shack had a few of his genuine cards their, too!"

Heart's words have helped a little.  Gallade's comfort and presence has helped.  So has Calam's confidence.

Nathan's done with simply reacting as well.

It's time to take action in Nathan's opinion.

Seeing as he's caught 4/5 Vileplume, the last one has been significantly weakened, isolated, and shown just how 'effective' its Moves are, and OOC I don't want to drag out this battle any longer, Terra just looks the last remaining fragrant flower dead in the eyes, and says this:

"You are weakened. You are alone. You are outmatch, and at my mercy. Can defeat you, or catch you like I did with your friend. Easily. *Pause* .....But I will give you one chance. Leave. Now. Or give up, and join me. Either way, you do not bother us again. Refuse....."

Pixie gave the odious opponent all too innocent grins as she started eyeing them like they were the last cake in the bakery, and Mikey just raised an arm and flexed it menacingly. 

".....And my partners will finish what they started. Think carefully."

Orders: Scare off/recruit the last Vileplume with an Intimidation Attempt, with Pixie's and Michael's help! Given just how poorly things have gotten for it, I think the poisonous plant should jump at the chance to beat feet and get out of dodge! If they don't listen for some reason, though, then Terra will do good by his word and have Pixie start beating chomping into it with Super Fangs until its HP is 1 (2 Actions, 5/4D6 Dice), then Terra will throw more Safari Balls at it. If they do leave, then Terra will not bother them. Like I said, he's already gotten 4 Vilplume, so that's more than enough for me and him!

Not sure if there are anymore Encounters tonight, but regardless he's just going to start making his way back to the Safari Zone entrance ASAP. His trip is more or less done, and so I want to leave the relative wilds and get started on selling Pokemon and restocking on supplies once the new day begins. 

Oh, and he uses an Antidote on himself to cure his own Poisoning. That too!

We don't really know why they kipnap him and your uncle...they are only a bunch of criminals. To hell if they think they doing any sort of good. Kipnap people still wrong, and I will make sure to deliver the punishment they truly deserve."

"Heart, they are not just that. They might follow the goal we do possibly, their methods are just drastically different than ours. They.... These Scimitars - They have ideals and motivations too, they're human and no hollow husks. They wouldn't just abduct some people, kill innocent household Pokemon and almost destroy a building just because they're bored."

She says that all calmly and not in a scolding tone, she must feel uncomfortable to downgrade the Scimitars to some random criminals. No, Shiva thinks they know what they're doing for sure.

Heart not exactly say anything right away. He is already aware Shiva somehow hold some sort of respect towards those Scimitars. He simple turn to Shiva and he lift a arm towards the destruction. "...try to tell that to the lifes they have ruined, the people they kidnapped, and the Pokemon they brainwashed. Yeah, they are indeed making a great good."

Heart turn again. "You can't understand. You get luck to not see the true evil humans is capable...or to force to see your family and friends be burned alive." Heart arm tremble after remember that memory. He try to hold his arm trying to control the fear. "Nothing. And I say nothing can justify unfair suffering and destruction like this one. Those Scimitars, despite trying to make good, IS criminals, no matter how you try to defend them. And like everyone else, they will receive punishment. And they will pay. And a lot. Like you or not. They want war? It's war they will get."

Alrightly! In that case, Terra will take his Pokemon to the Center/designated healing location to be all patched up, and just get a regular room to sleep in. He'll handle selling his Pokemon/stuff tomorrow, as right now he's beat in multiple different ways!

Question, though: does he get to keep the remaining Safari Balls he has (Count is 6, btw)? If not, he'll just hand them over when asked. Also, XP for Vileplume?

Nathan has one or two things to add to this:

"...and no matter how much good you want to do, the ends do not always justify the means.  It's often said that history is written by the winners...but I sure as heck am not going to let them win...they don't have the right to paint themselves as heroes after what they've done...the least they deserve is a lengthy prison sentence..."

He's still looking at the ground primarily as he says this, and he's still trying to hold back his anger and sadness as best as he can...but the determination in his voice is still as clear as day.

Gallade's also looking at Shiva expectantly...there's still a measure of uncertainty in his gaze, however.  He just...doesn't get it.  Why is Shiva defending them, however lightly?  It makes no sense to him, Calam, and Nathan whatsoever.
