I'm not actually sure if its a Rhydon or not, now that you mention that. Let me double check the threads.
Guess Terra's going to be alone in his 'negotiations', since I can't imagine Nathan ever agreeing to work with the Scims at all without someone shoehorning him into (AKA, Terra!). Oh well, big battles are more fun and interesting anyway!
EDIT: Oh boo, it IS Rhyhorn, not 'don. Was hoping that it was its Evo, so I could just Evolve it straight away, but its not. Guess it'll be stuck in Terra's PC for the unforseeable future then, as I'm not going to trade it way but don't have the time/willingness to train it up. That, and sinces its FIVE Disobedience, I can't even control it in anyway or expect it not to want to destroy all in its path, so keeping it in lockdown is for the best until the right conditions can be set to beat it into submission.

Oh yeah, heck no. I can ramble off soooo many reasons why Nathan and Gallade want nothing to do with the Scims. Particularly where Cosh specifically is concerned.

So people...you think we can beat dozens of Scimitars? I think I can take three or 4, but they would problably overpowers me and Quetzel. But his Steel typing could make him resist other attacks.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

There's 15 grunts with gauntlets immediately in front of us (3 of them airborne), 1 Admin, and 2 Druddigon (attended by gauntletless Scims) if I counted everything correctly. That makes a total of 18 enemies we'll have to deal with in the immediate scenario.
Our spread moves can currently (if I remember correctly) hit up to 6 targets at a time. If we use FLASH successfully 3 times, we'll be able to blind all 18 of them (assuming they don't have any Keen Eye/Clear Body/White Smoke abilities in effect). They don't necessarily know we have access to FLASH now, obviously, so they might not be prepared for it.
Given the situation and how Cosh is prepping to hurl rocks at us like his grunts, I'd be inclined to say he's using his Steelix loadout instead of Skarmory. Which would mean he's going to be a tough nut to crack. I could be wrong, of course, but the context clues seem to be indicating something in that kind of direction.

Between everyone's good Vitality, Pixie lowering the Scim's STR by 1 (And will subsequently do her best to lower it even further with Growls), and Edmundi is out to use Wide Guard at a moment's notice to shield the humans from harm, I believe we'll do just fine enduring their onslaught, bar any shenanigans. Worst case scenario, Nathan will use the Red Chain as a Get Out Of Jail Free Card against them, and slightly less worse case we can all just escape back to Cress using The Cards, heal up, change our parties to better counter the Scims (If need be), and venture forth back to the Skull Ruins to either reset the fight or play catch up to them. Given how strong everyone is and that most everyone has access to either Spread Moves, AoE Moves, or some sort of support that can blunt large numbers, though, I don't think things will get THAT sticky unless the Dice decide to thoroughly screw us over and/or Iron is packing some especially nasty surprises in this latest Encounter....

If these guys are trying to give Nathan another reason to fight them, they're doing a bang up job of it.

Question for Iron, could Spira have Toya Ghost World as an offense to handle some of the grunts (read take them there and leave them)

So do I, actually. I've already linked my choice in the UOST if you want to check it out. Titled it 'This Ends Here'.
