How risky would it be for Spira to have Ditto transform into Pixie and add another Intimidate/Growl to the mix?

I don't think multiple Intimidates would stack, and only one layer of Growls would be effective STR reducers. We'd need Feather Dance or similar high STR lowering Moves in order to lower our group's STR even further, or find some way to boost Kadabra's Defenses outside of Wide Guard.

Lilith's Flatter can reduce Strength by another point if needed, at the cost of confusing.

Doesn't stack with Growl, though.

What Ditto could do is Transform into a Pidgey from memory.  I believe Feather Dance costs less than 35 exp for the species to learn, so Ditto would be able to use it in that case.

Pidgey are really common, so chances are that Ditto has seen one at some point.

Just checked Feather Dance, 25 xp move for Pidgey so comes down to whether or not Ditto has actually seen a Pidgey (which as you said is highly likely)

Honestly, given all the Defense/Damage Lowering options we have right now are enough to totally neuter Solomon's Damaging Potential (If we count Wide Guard), Feather Dance is unnecessary/superfluous. However, if we wants Solomon to use his HP on EVERYONE without Wide Guard, it would help in that case, and give us info. without potentially hurting us/Damaging something. Rather nice combo right there, all things considered.

Wide Guard stops added effects if it reduces dice to 0. But with Reflect or Light Screen, forget which, you could still reduce actual damage to 0 and still get the effect.

I think Ditto has seen a Pidgey because I often include them as an "Unlimited encounter". That's fine.

If we use Wide Guard, we can't use Growl and Intimidate and need to use a 5 Str character (5 + 2 - 3 - 3 = 1).  Wide Guard reduces the damage pool by 3 and can reduce it to 0, which means the move wouldn't connect at all.

In any case, with or without Wide Guard, a 1 D6 - 1 damage with no chance of critting is entirely possible.

I honestly though the whole 'Remove Damage Dice Entirely' was only a feature in Protect/Detect, but I guess all Protect Moves (Except Endure) get that property. Like you said, though, it don't matter if WG is used or not, as the party just plain has the ability to not hurt people with Solomon's HP, which is all the info Iron really needs to get the go ahead to have the wise king spam the Move on the Kadabra (Assuming everyone is fine with that plan). Right?
