With regards to Shiny A-Geodude: "If you wished to trade such a rare pokemon, I could offer one of my various rarest and/or most experimental pokemon in return. Or I could simply pay you for it if you're looking to sell it instead of trade." Most evolution lines that are catchable in Sinnoh would be valid trades, including pokemon exclusive to Swarms, Dual Slot Mode functionality, or the Pokeradar. More common pokemon would have rarer/more Surprises to make up for the value of the trade if one was requested.
Any pokemon that can be considered common or uncommon in the Sinnoh region as a whole would be an eligible pick if you traded both Sneasel and Snover together. Note: Rowan would also prefer the male one since Karen's is Female.
Refer to the Sinnoh pokedex and tell me which ones you might be interested in, then I'll figure out which of those are eligible for which trades.

Contrasting Kogeki's and Kee's excitement in the Delta Starters of Professor Rowan, Randolph does not care about them in the lsightest, his own interest in them dropping like an comically place anvil the moment he learned what kind of Pokemon he was carrying. He had very particular tastes and criteria that a Pokemon had to meet in order to being considered for a spot on his team, and none of the ones on offer fit his 'requirements' or tickled his fancy. The fact that they were his home region's Starter Pokemon actually served to make him more adverse to them, as he didn't like the association between them and Trainers. Nope, those Pokemon are not for him, thank you very much!
Once its been revealed by Old Fashion he was accepting Trades and giving high profits, the bristly blacksmith almost immediately jumped at the chance to sell the Crobat that Kogeki gave him as a gift, his reasoning for doing so patently simple.
"It's an interesting Pokemon for sure, but I just don't have the time to make'm Loyal to me between bonding with my other unruly monsters. 'Sides, I need the Poke to start buying supplies and materials to build a new prosthetic for Kogeki. One that has more functionality than the block of wood he currently has. Speaking of which, you know where I can get some Neuro Sensors and anybody good with Computers? Need the former to connect the new arm to the ninja's nervous system and get it a working, and the later to program the AI to run the damn thing or do the house keeping functions."
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Kee still does not look up from that snowy turtle in their Ball as he answers Ran: "I can do the latter, Ran."

"Ah, THAT Crobat. Yes, they gave me and Staraptor quite a bit of trouble while we were in Mt. Coronet with Kogeki. I could offer about...hmmm...$10,000 for that enormous Crobat."
"Neuro Sensors? I'm afraid I don't know where to find them, but I could look into it. As for somebody good with computers, the first person that comes to mind is Bebe. As the Sinnoh region's PC administrator, there's none more skilled in programming than she. She lives in Hearthome City, though, so you'd have to pay her a visit there to see if she'd be willing to help. A few of my assistants are also decent with computers as well, but much like Bebe, none of them are near Snowpoint at the moment due to being busy with other tasks."

"I'm afraid Grotle is the only fully fledged Delta Species among the three, as Monferno and Prinplup did not need to adapt as heavily to the living conditions as Grotle needed to. They developed other traits to make up for that difference, however. I could trade one of them for the Shiny Alolan Geodude if you wished."
Again, if you have any questions about the specifics of the experimental Starter pokemon, feel free to ask.

Hmm, let me think about it. Also, here a list of the Pokemon I might wish for:
Luxray
Gyarados
Steelix
Heracross
Haunter
Honckrow
Rotom
Chansey
Clefable
Spiritomb
Skorupi
Riolu
Gligar
Kirlia
Houndoor
Scyther
If there is any Delta variant of any of those I might be interested.

"Sounds like ya got strong memories of this bat fiend, professor. Fortunately, they can't cause anyone much trouble balled up like this, eh? *Hears offer* Deal. That should do nicely for that war fund. Pleasure doing business with ya."
*Sighs*
"Figured as much. Guess I'll go check out the local hospitals if they have any they're willing to see, or can point me to a supplier. You happen to know what's the most techy one is, Professor? That help start my search, at least. *Gives Rowan a side eye look* .....Don't have a Pokemon that can FLY, don't know where Bebe lives, we don't know each other, and she don't have any reason to lend me a hand, so that option is entirely out of my means. *Sighs* Thank for bringing it up, though."
When Kee brought up he could help him with that aspect of the build, Ran turned towards them with a look of mixed disbelief , curiosity, and gratefulness, before nodding.
"Really? Well, if ya can navigate the coding and programing of a robotic prosthetic, I'd be happy to have your help. Anything that can make the job easy, I take."

Gyarados, Steelix, Rotom, Spiritomb, and Riolu are all ineligible due to being very, very rare in the wild in Sinnoh or too massive to keep in larger numbers for research purposes.
The more common the pokemon you're trading for is, the more likely Professor Rowan is going to have a strange variant of the evolution line (or some other surprise). In addition, keep in mind that the pokemon Professor Rowan will trade typically won't be fully evolved, and evolved forms can sometimes be considered rarer.
Here's the general rarity of each evolution line on that list:
Generally, Common Pokemon can appear in various places all over the region, or appear earlier in the games.
- Shinx and Luxio (easy to find in Sinnoh wherever they appear)
- Gligar (Able to appear in many locations in Sinnoh if Dual Slot is accounted for. Most common on Route 206)
- Ralts and Kirlia (Rather common on Routes 203, 204, 208, 209, and 212)
Uncommon Pokemon tend to only appear in a handful of places in the Region. They may also be common encounters in those places.
- Murkrow (most common in Eterna Forest and Lost Tower [Night])
- Gastly and Haunter (most common in Eterna Forest and Lost Tower)
- Cleffa and Clefairy (most common in Mt. Coronet, particularly in the morning)
- Houndour and Houndoom (most common on Routes 214 and 215, particularly during the day. Also somewhat common on Valor Lakefront at night)
Rare pokemon are typically hard to find no matter where you look, regardless of how many locations they actually show up in. Pokeradar, Swarm, and Dual Slot mode exclusive pokemon automatically go in this category if they are not in the Sinnoh pokedex.
- Heracross (Rare Honey Tree encounter)
- Happiny and Chansey (Rarely found on Route 209, Route 210, and in Mr. Backlot's Trophy Garden)
- Scyther (Rarely found on Routes 210 and 215. More common in the morning, however)
- Skorupi (Rare encounter in the Great Marsh)

Towards Randolph, Kee's finally averting his gaze from that snowy turtle looking at him with a tilted head through the transparent upper part of their Ball, but only to give Ran a somewhat neutral glance in return for his one. "Well, I can try after we're back from the temple if you like. If I managed to program my own equalizer, the chance that I manage to program that AI are.... decent, I guess? We'll see, whatever."
Towards Prof.Rowan, he returns a simple "I see.... It never hurts to have a 'Mon with you that can grow edible stuff. Useful." Oh, and before he forgets, he also thanks the good professor for the trust put in him - they know each other for some minutes and he is offered a rare 'Mon that has been researched until now? That's either very nice and generous or plain dumb, but Kee likes to believe the former.
That Delta Grotle stays with him and his party for now in return for Mercury (I'm so sorry, lil' living clock). It'll be a female exemplar because I like the thought that the Prof. having researched on female exemplars for breeding purposes, and I'll update charasheet tomorrow because I'll turn in for the night now.... I like these lifestealing-capabilities this Delta Grotle has, but too many of their moves use Strength than Special for my taste, so currently it's a 50/50 chance whether this 'Mon will stay with Kee or not- depends on how things down the temple work out and whether there is some of said chemistry between caretaker and Pokemon.
