Yena: (6)
Whimsicott: (5)
Carvanha: (6)
Sharpedo: (1)

----------------------

Ah, adapted cave-dwellers that have lost all of their eyesight? That rings some bells within Shiva's mind, as she had seen a Frilish down Mount Sentry that went through quite the same change, apart from it having been shiny instead of pale.

There's no time to think further about that as they agressively attack!!! Whimsicott intercepts by letting loose an immense shining light, while Yena makes his displeasure heard by howling ominously.

Accuracy Roll Whimsi's FLASH 1 on Shapedo: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel + 1 Ethereal Ribbon Bonus - 4 Actions = 10d6
Effect: That shark has to spend an Action to overcome blindnessn the continues the fight with a -3 Accuracy on everything.
Secondary Effect: Has +1 Priority thanks to the fluffball's Prankster Ability. I believe you don't have to see to react to light/blind creatures do still react to an immense light as it triggers a brain reaction.

Accuracy Roll Yena's Howl 1: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 3 Intimidate - 3 Actions = 7d6
Effect: +1 Strength as it awakes the inner wolf.
Secondary Effect: Echoes through the cave.

That should do it for the first effect. "Come on, Whimsi, MORE light, then drain that shark of their power! You please concentrate on the smaller foe for now, Yena, that piranha instead of the shark, give it a good smack with your tail!~ I've got your back." That means, shall either Sharpedo or Carvanha go lethal or shall Sharpedo attempt to poisonfang' Whimsicott (depending what comes first), that's when the Shield is joining stage to prevent the damage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Accuracy Roll Whimsi's Dazzling Gleam 2:  4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 5 Actions = 8d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 3 power of the move + STAB + Ethereal Ribbon = again 10d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Hits both foes and illuminates the cave a little.

Accuracy Roll Whimsi's Giga Drain 3 on Sharpedo: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 6 Actions = 7d6
Accuracy Roll Whimsi's Giga Drain 4 on Sharpedo: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 7 Actions = 6d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 3 power of the move + STAB = 9d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Half the damage dealt is restored.

Accuracy Roll Yena's Rock Smash 2 on Carvanha: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 4*Brawl - 4 Actions = 7d6
Accuracy Roll Yena's Rock Smash 3 on Carvanha: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 4*Brawl - 5 Actions = 6d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength after howling + 4 power of the move, no STAB = still 9d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Has 5CD to lower the piranha's Defense by 1.

Conditional:
  • Yena's Shield Dust prevents him from suffering CD-effects, but unfortunately not from Rough Skin Ability.
  • Once Carvanha is either at -3 Pain or fainted, I want the butterwolfly to snatch them and devour them whole - He deserves a snack and it will subliminally strengthen his biting force to the degree of STRONG JAW~! If he's reluctant to do so due to Rough Skin though, then Shiva asks him to retrive that Carvanha so that later either Terra or Spira can help her prepare that fish.
  • That Sharpedo though Shiva will attempt to catch with the two freshly-retrieved Bleached Apricorns ( = Pokeball = Seal Strength 2) - if they both break, a Steel Ball is it.

Luna gets 11 of that xp, bringing her total to 52, which is used to learn Baton Pass!
Nubi is sent to the PC for the Frillish, a Potion and a Full Heal Flower is used on it, bringing it back to 6/9 HP, and curing Paralysis. Gender doesn't really matter, but let's make it female.
Toya gets the remaining 3 xp, and a Super Potion is used on him, bringing him back to 7/10 HP.
Spira's xp is now 10, 6 of which is used to bring his Athletics to 2.
--
"Phew. That was really tough." With that done, Spira takes a look down the waterfall, having Toya use a Flash if needed to get a better look.

Oh, so much for blind people/creature and immense light, lolz. Yena heals 1HP thanks to his held Leftovers. Sharpedo is at 4/9HP and -1 Defense.

Seeing her butterwolfy having not only defeated that Carvanha in one go and all alone AND nom'd it, Shiva affectionately tussles his black neck fur. "Enjoyed it?~ You're a good boi, a very very good boi indeed! (^v^) Now, give that shark another one of these smacks, show 'em!"

Shiva lacks any Ice Heals unfortunately, but a Full Heal (not a Full Heal Orchid) works just as well. Whimsi's not very fond of her fluff being 'decorated' with ice crystals, and she's going to SHOW that by dazzling and draining that shark without mercy!

The catching mechanics still stand.

--------------------------------------------------

Accuracy Roll Whimsi's Dazzling Gleam 1:  4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 2 Actions = 11d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 3 power of the move + STAB + Ethereal Ribbon = again 10d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Illuminates the cave a little. Maybe.

Accuracy Roll Whimsi's Giga Drain 2: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 3 Actions = 10d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 3 power of the move + STAB = 9d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Half the damage dealt is restored.

Accuracy Roll Yena's Rock Smash: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 4*Brawl - 2 Pain = 9d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 4 power of the move, no STAB = still 9d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Has 5CD to lower the piranha's Defense by 1. Already triggered.

Since Shiva and Spira elected to do an Encounter in Slowpoke Well Proper, Terra decides float on over to a large enough island (On Angie!) to set up shop and try his luck with his Super Rod to pass the time, using one of his Better Quality Bait as....well, bait. He's already caught plenty of excellent Water type Pokemon just recently in his Genesect Arte and Ultimate Shiny Sari, but what one or a few more to add to his collection?

Before that, though, he'll attempt to get Sari to use her Hidden Power for him, as after seeing how varied and unique they could be he was curious to see what her's would do.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
