As much keeping Sari has its benefits, leaving Edmundi behind with such great move might be dangerous. Although Doublade could act as defender of everyone, but having one less Wide Guard user it's not a wise decision, even more since we are in the Skull Ruins.
Sari has 1 Loyalty now, actually. Terra did a good job of making her sushi out of the Gorebyss/Huntail he caught in his Encounter and treated her wounds, so much so that she fills a bit more inclined to listen to him (Not much, though). Terra would mention that to everyone as he brought up his delimea in deciding if she stays or goes, so Heart would know about her warming up to the granite man quickly but slowly. 1 Loyalty vs 3 Disobedience is still nasty to deal with, but hey, its a start! Better than working a 5 Disobedient demon from scratch, like a Hyrdegion (Which Ven has dealt with before, fun fact! Not so fun for him at first, but he got used to the ones he's meet....after they made several attempts on his life!) !
Err....Edmundi's Wide Guard actually didn't do anything, Spiritmon, due to DMG's Super Luck making its Spread Move deal Plot Device Damage, which completely smashed through the Shield and ignored it. Had Wide Guard been used after Lucky Chant had gone up, though, it would have served its use much better. As it stands, PD ignores Shield Moves, unless said Shield is Plot Deviced itself.
I do see you reasoning, though, and I find it to be sound. If that's what Heart would more or less say to Terra, then I can count that as a vote against bringing her along, right?

It's what Heart said more or less.

Questions:
- Is everyone flying down deeper into the well at the same time, Iron, or is it just Nathan/Shiva/The Schims? Want to make sure, so I don't make a fool of myself posting something when I shouldn't.
- Can Terra summon Pokemon on Angie mid-flight? Can Angie Evade mid-air while Terra/Shiva/Maybe Cosh is riding her?
- Would anyone/thing falling off their mount at their current height prove fatal? Or just mostly fatal?
- Can you decide whether or not Terra kept Sari or not? I got one Yay Vote from Shiva, one Nay from Spirit, one neutral/blank one from Spira, and Nathan apparently is just not going to say ANYTHING about this matter, so I'm/Terra are currently deadlocked on this.

...I can't say I ever expected to see a Volcanion in Creshire...or anywhere, for that matter...let alone two...
...I can't help but feel something fishy is going on here...the giant tube being the same color and also having blue gemstones in it can't be a coincidence...

What?! Volcanions?! Here?! We barely survive fighting one Legendary, let alone 2! Plans people?

Plans are going to depend on what our characters know of Volcanion, and whether we can actually harm them in the first place.

How about a dice roll of Insight+Knowledge+Lore @ Iron to see if Heart remember something? He is a Pokemon rare collector, but he doesn't know a lot about Volcanion or other Legendary Pokemon, with the exception be Sinnoh region, one or other Legendary, and Seikamater. But such odd Pokemon like Volcanion he might ready something.
And Heart is probably the vulnerable target, since Steelix have weakness towards fire. Maybe Quetzal could use Tailwind to make everyone capable of dodge Volcanions onslaught. Or summon Doublade to use Wide Guard. But with Plot Device damage Legendary has....
Well...it was nice play with you guys.

oof... I doubt Spira would know anything about those Volcanion, but here's to hoping that he is able to do his best to help take 'em out.
Let's see... Judging from its level up moves on bulbapedia, Volcanion only learns 3 fire type moves naturally: Flare Blitz, Flame Charge, and Overheat, two of those moves can possibly be used in our favor (Flare Blitz and Overheat)
Water type moves we'd have to look out for are Hydro Pump and its signature Steam Eruption. Let's just hope they don't do a Plot Device boosted Explosion.

Legends, Myths, and History are Nathan's area of expertise, so he might possibly know a little about Volcanion as well, same as with Genesect.
This situation still feels a bit...off to me, though. I wonder if these Volcanion are only partially Plot Deviced, if at all...I could be entirely wrong, of course, but....
All else fails, we can always attempt to fall back on the default course of action: evasive maneuvers! The Shield can also make 1 character plus Shiva immune to all damage if necessary.
