Are you sure you want to poke an Unown's eye?  And if so, which one are you going to try to poke?

I sure. More specific, the Top Left Unow. The message said: "The Top Left is the Key". Maybe what have mentioned is the Unow be the key itself?

Kogeki tries to poke the first Unown T.  The targeted Unown slides to the left on the wall to avoid the slowly approaching finger, and the Unown all start to blink in unison regardless of their shapes.

They detach from the wall and start to swirl around and around Kogeki and his pokemon.  The Unown begin to hum a strange, almost song-like tune, and Kogeki has a bad feeling that he might have angered them...

Upon discovering exactly what he found, Ran let out a low whistle of appreciation, a small but excited grin playing out across his face as he eyed the Amber.

"Well, didn't expect to unearth a beaut like this here of all places, but Ich beschwere mich kein bisschen darüber! Heh heh, can't wait to share this right sweet find with Roark.....*Frowns* assuming I make it out of here alive, at any rate...."

Translations: .....by pick and grit I'm not complaining about it one DAMN bit!
*Looks around, and notices what's up with the rocks here*

"Hmm....bunch of different kinds of sedimentary and igneous rocks strew about the place, but none of them match up with the either the local mineral profile of Snowpoint or the Temple itself. Plus, what in Heatran's name is a rock that bore Amber of this quality doing outside of The Underground, or some untapped cave system?"

*Frown deepens*

"Yeap, this cinches it: something's kooky is screwing with this ancient icebox. Don't know what yet, exactly, but something DEFINATELY is. *Sighs, eyes briefly closed* Verdammt. Normalerweise bin ich froh, dass meine Vermutungen zutreffen, aber in diesem Fall wünschte ich mir, ich wäre es nicht. Tsk... genau wie dieser verfluchte Job, eine gute Sache verdorben zu machen....."
Translation: Damnit. Usually I'm glad my guesses are spot on, but in this case I wish I wasn't. *Tsk*...just like this accursed job, to turn a good thing rotten.....
....Aaaand there goes Randolph's happy mood. It was nice while it lasted.

He notes down his observations and stows away the Amber, giving his gemlin a narrow eyed look as he sees her giving the golden treasure her own gleaming, hungry eyes.

"Oy,Sableyes off me Amber, Diam. You got plenty of diamonds and some of those Gems to snack on now, so don't get any ideas of putting your mits on our hauls. Least, until I tell ya otherwise. Got it?"

Warning conveyed (and Amber put away), he asks her again if their are any additional loot she can find, and if she finds nada he thanks her for the help before she gets put away and Brigid is sent out again to resume guard duty/watch. Afterwards, Ran makes his way through the now non-existent Slippery Ice (or soon to be, if they're any remaining in his way that Brigid hasn't melted yet), and continues his investigations/exploration of B1. It's only just begun, but he's already uncovered plenty of clues himself that point towards ominous conclusions indeed....

"Guess I have no choice then. In this battle, we require raw power. Nagi, return for now." Kogeki than release his loyal Pokemon, Susano'o.

Gama is still hidden due to camouplage, so he is safe to a stealth attack when need.

A question dragon, how much targets Kogeki can hit with the kunais and shurikens? And also, can I hold the Lethal damage of Kogeki katana to not kill any of those Unow, or cause Lethal damage? Like I don't know, attack with the sword unsheathed.

Kunai and Shuriken are capable of performing single target attacks.  Holding back and not doing Lethal damage can also mean doing things such as attacking with the flat of the blade instead of the edge, hitting parts of the body that won't result in mortal wounds, intentionally only scratching the target instead of cutting them, striking them with the hilt of the blade, or many other methods (attacking with a sheathed weapon isn't typically practical, though), so it's entirely possible to use most weapons and attacks in non-Lethal ways.  Be warned that Kogeki can also be a target himself if he gets more directly involved in the combat.

Initiatives:
Susano'o: (6) + 9 = 15
Gama: (2) + 9 = 11
Unown Swarm: (2) + 7 = 9

The Unown seem to know Gama is there already, so an ambush isn't possible.
Reply
(Actually, Gama has 10 in initiate since I raised his survive to 4. Check the Char Sheet. Why Gama can't ambush? First, he is dark type, so he should be immune to the psychic powers of those Unow. Second, he is a ninja, so he should know how to hide his presence. Third, it's just few against many so it's kinda unfair so a ambush try should at least balance things a bit. Hidden Power Dark is my best chance)

"Let's show our strength then. Susano'o! Use pure power against these enemies. Hidden Power Water! Then Waterfall and Iron Head!"

"Gama! Use Hidden Power Dark! These is vulnerable to dark attacks, so this might work! Then go with Bubble and Nigh Slash against the most weak Unow!"

If they get to much, Kogeki will use a potion. But in case one of the faint, Nagi will come and Kogeki will have to to bring his sword to battle against these foes, like no lethal Slash's.

Hidden Power Water: Dex+Fight+Channel-Difficulty(2)
Damage: Power(4)+Special(3)+STAB(1)+Life Orb(2)+Sheer Force(2)=12D6

Waterfall: Dex+Fight+Brawl-Difficulty(4)
Damage: Power(3)+STR(3)+STAB(1)+Life Orb(2)+Sheer Force (2)=11D6

Iron Head: Dex+Fight+Brawl-Difficulty(4)
Damage: Power(3)+STR(3)+STAB(1)+Life Orb(2)+Sheer Force (2)=11D6
Notes: Don't forget Life Orb effects.

Hidden Power Dark: Dex+Survival+Stealth-Difficulty(2)
Damage: Power(1/3*)+STR(3)+STAB(1)+SE(1)=5D6+1/7D6+1
Effect: If the user manage to faint at least one for, he gets, user gain +1 in Dex, STR and special. Get +2 Dice in case user did a successful ambush. Don't forget the effects of Kings to Flinch.

Bubble: Dex+Fight+Channel-Difficulty(4)
Damage: Power+Special+STAB
Effect: Reduce foes Dex. Don't also forget Kings Rock effect.

Nigh Slash: Dex+Fight+Brawl-Difficulty(6)
Damage: Power+STR+STAB+SE
Effect: Lethal (Hold). High critical. Extra effect with King Rock.

Forgot to mention, a description of Gama Hidden Power Dark please?

Quote:Juhani looks up at the Golbat cautiously.  This isn't her first time dealing with the species.

Initiatives
Golbat: (4) + 7 = 11
Juhani: (3) + 7 = 10

Unsurprisingly, the turtle is slower than the bat.

Huh, that cautious behaviour catches Kee's attention and allures a questioning look to the snowy turtle. "....What's wrong, are you suspicious or unhappy to to let me lead? Juhani......" He has to hold back a prolonged sigh and instead throws his head back, "C'mon, at least TRY to have a lil' faith in me, I won't let you go down without a good amount of fighting back. Or....! Ah, did Zubat and its evolutions play a role in why you have adapted the way you did? How curious..." Back to facing the scene before him instead of looking at the super-interesting ceiling. "Either way, mind any flying assaults and give your foe a taste of your icy powers, starting with you chilly bite. ...Bite 'em HARD, take some revenge for what their species may have done to you."

------------------------------------------

Accuracy Roll Ice Fang 1: 3 Dext + 4 Fight + 0 Brawl - 1 Inaccuracy - 2 Actions = 4d6 + (6) as 1 of Juhani's Willpoints is spent to make her hit this Golbat
Damage Roll: 1 Strength + 2 power of the move + STAB = 4d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: Has 2CD to flinch and 2 to freeze. Did I say that Kee's a lost cause when it comes to any physical or strength-requirering activity? No? Well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Accuracy Roll Powder Snow 2: 3 Dext + 4 Fight + 3 Channel - 4 Actions = 6d6
Damage Roll: 4 Special + 2 power of the move + STAB = 7d6 +1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: That's more of it. Has 1 CD to freeze and covers everything in rim that it hits.

Conditional: If Golbat tries to attack with a Flying Type move, clash the first one with a Giga Drain as an additional Action ( = don't replace the former two but add it, making Juhani take 3 Actions here in total). Base Accu would be 4 Special + 4 Fight + 1 Clash, imagine it like Juhani sucking the energy outta this Golbat's wings. Yes I know that SE and NE are affecting this, but it's the best I can try to minimize the damage Juhani'd take from a Flying Type move!

Unown Round 1

Kogeki's Water types spring into action, ready to wipe out these foes.  The enemy may have the numbers, but they have the advantage of being able to attack many pokemon simultaneously!

Hidden Power Water 1 (Remember that not all moves use Dex + Fight for their accuracy in this game, Spirit.  This one uses Special, for example)
(5)(5)(5)(4)(1)(5)(5) That's a crit!
The Unown have 3 Def and Sp Def
(4)(4)(3)(1)(6)(2)(6)(6)(2)(2)(3) Three of the Unown take 5 damage 1/6 HP, 15 remain

Gama finishes them off with his own Hidden Power!  A shadowy kunai suddenly appears in his grasp as he rushes forward to blitz the floating text!

Hidden Power Dark 1
(4)(2)(3)(2)(4)(2)(1)(4) Gama became Dark type!
(6)(6) Three Unown take 3 damage and faint! 12 remain
+1 Strength, Dex, and Special for Gama!
(-) Flinch doesn't matter for a fainted target

The Unown's turn to use their...

(4)(6)(1)(3)(6)(1)(1)(2) As they blast Susano'o with their mysterious power, what appears to be text begins to appear on his body, before it starts to slowly fade away...

⠋⠊⠝⠙ ⠞⠓⠑ ⠃⠑⠛⠊⠝⠝⠊⠝⠛

(2)(1)(2) Susano'o takes no damage

Susano'o, displeased that these Psychic types would attempt to tarnish his armor like that, retaliates!

Waterfall 2
(5)(2)(2)(3)(4)
(6)(2)(4)(5)(1)(5)(3)(2) One of the Unown takes 4 damage 2/6 HP, 12 remain

Bubble 2
(6)(5)(1)(2)(2)(3) Gama became Water type!
(6)(5)(4)(1) One of the Unown faints, and 3 more take 3 damage 3/6 HP, 11 remain
(-) (-) Dex and Flinch debuffs don't matter against such a large group of enemies working in unison

The Unown, being partially Plot Deviced when in groups, can ignore the once per Round rule for moves.  Pain doesn't seem to affect their collective Hidden Power, either.

(5)(4)(4)(1)(3)(5) More text appears, this time on Gama's body.

⠎⠊⠭ ⠙⠕⠞⠎ ⠕⠏⠑⠝ ⠞⠓⠗⠑⠑ ⠙⠕⠕⠗⠎

(4)(5)(5) Gama takes 3 damage! 5/8 HP -1 Pain

Gama and Susano'o continue to thin the Unowns' numbers as best as they can manage, while the Unown continue to create braille text out of thin air.

Iron Head 3
(6)(3)(1)
(6)(2)(2)(4)(4)(5)(5)(5) Another Unown faints.  3/6 HP for three, 10 remain

Night Slash 3
(2)(2)(5) Gama became Dark type!
(6)(4)(3)(4)(1) An Unown takes 4 damage. 2/6 HP for one, 3/6 HP for three, 10 remain

Kogeki uses a Potion on Gama! 8/8 HP

Golbat Round 1

Golbat starts with its favorite move!

Bite 1
(5)(2)(2)(4)(6)
(6)(6) Juhani takes 2 damage 5/7 HP -1 Pain

(4)(1)(3)

...and Juhani bites back just as hard!

Ice Fang 1
(6)(4)(1) (6*)
(6)(1) Golbat takes 2 damage! 5/7 HP -1 Pain
(-)(-) Immune to Flinch due to Inner Focus
(5)(5)

Golbat tries to slap the turtle away with its wings, while Juhani tries to drain all the energy away from said appendages to prevent them from hurting her badly.

Wing Attack 2
(1)(4) 1 success
Giga Drain Clash 2
(6)(6)(6)(3) An easy clash.  Golbat falls out of the air, unable to keep itself aloft
(2) Juhani takes 1 damage as the limp wings still collide with her 4/7 HP -1 Pain
4 + 3 + STAB - 2 - QR = 3 D6 - 2
(6)(2)(1) No damage for Golbat from the Giga Drain

Golbat only declared 2 actions, so Juhani's free to fire off some snow at her opponent, who is now laying almost helpless on the ground.

Powder Snow 3
(6)(5)(2)
(6)(4)(1)(5)(4) Golbat takes 5 damage and faints!
(2)

Juhani breathes a sigh of relief, but looks rather...puzzled at that turn of events.  Still she got out of it safely, so maybe this human has her best interests in mind after all...

Juhani gains 1 Loyalty.

Kee and Juhani each get 2 exp.
