Water Absorb can heal the Legendary if it has another Pokemon helping. Arete can't use their own water to proc Water Absorb, though.

(Wow! Outstanding Rolls with the Heal Pulses! Sari's at 10/12 HP now, which is just great really!)

I/Terra was aware of that, which is why Solomon is going to be using/already did use Water Guns on them to fully heal them (Or Brine, if Arete prefers 'drinking' salty water) ! Right.....?

Yes. I was just clarifying that it works.

Pokeball: (3)(5) v (6)(5)(2)(6)(1)(5)(3) Breaks
Great Ball: (4)(5)(6)(5) v (3)(4)(3)(6)(5)(2)(6) Tie
(6)(4)(2)(6) v (4)(6)(5)(4)(6)(2)(4) It breaks.

Awww, frustration strikes Shiva at the realization over having underestimated the sheer willpower of these huge Pokemon. Well then, she'll collect the broken halfs of the Poke- and Greatball, withdraws Lilith into her comfy Ball again, picks up Azu and makes haste to get away from this chamber and back to the others before anything nasty happens.

I wonder...with max. skill in Crafting now, is Shiva able to repair broken Pokeballs to the degree of them being usable again? Doing that with ordinary Pokeballs has little use, but it'd be handy for more expensive and rare Balls.

It grows only in absolute darkness. I found one. I also found one already fitted with a, whatchacallit, shiny metal web thing, and a button. I've heard they are good at catching heavy Pokemon, so it's a must-have item around here. Want to buy it? No, there's no way to remake a Pokeball once the capture web is damaged.

That's a good idea that will solve a bit of the problem of extra encounters.

"I know where there's a sword. No one can pick it up, not even Machoke. I'll come back with you to your, to the, you know, the other lightbringers from the surface. To the group of people. But first... let's see your coins."

(Sorry about the supersized font, my phone did that for some weird reason.)
Provided he'll let Spira, Spira leads the Sneasel, keeping an eye on him to avoid any potential ambushes, to the ship that the group found with all the loot. "That there is the treasure trove I told you about." Spira thinks for a moment, "Can't say how much is there now, but my group found $200,000 worth of gold coins." Spira is quite hesitant telling the Sneasel how much the group found, but the figure is the only incentive that he can think of to convince the Sneasel the location is a good area to look for monies.

"Alright, well, I guess that'll have to do. Maybe I can Sneasel a few coins out of your friends, you know. Trade them, for my trade goods. I don't have many, mind, but... actually I'll just wait until they're all here."

In walks Spira with a giant Sneasel following him. The Sneasel immediately dumps his backpack on the ground in the middle of your group and starts talking in a rambling voice. "Make way, make a little room, please and thanks. Spira here told me, he said he'd show me where some sunken treasure is, which he did and I'm grateful. I'll go look for, I'll search for that soon. First I have to show you where the Sword is. Meanwhile, I heard you have some coin of your own? Here's what I have to trade:"

I'll convert his prices into Pokedollars.

"A Black Apricorn. You could try to plant it, but it only grows in pitch blackness. Any light will kill the plant, but the fruit is safe, you know, obviously. $6000."

"A Heavy Ball made from a Black Apricorn. These things, wow, they just scale without end. You'll want this if you want to catch any of the Pokemon down here, I can tell you that. It'll make the job easy, big as they are. The bigger the bigger, or better, really. That phrase just came to me. What I mean is, there's no limit to how much bigger a Pokemon can be before this Apricorn can't hold it. I heard surface folk like to catch Pokemon in Apricorns. I figure that's what this is for, 'cause it has these funny crystals and I found it in an old area of that old palace.
$10,000."

"A scrap of cloth here. Bind it around yourself and you move much more quickly, seems backwards, I know, but I assure you it's the truth. I guess the problem comes in when the cloth makes you keep doing the same thing over and over for, I don't know, a long time. Long enough to walk probably a tenth of a mile.
$12,000."
This last is a Choice Scarf. The wearer is first in the initiative order, but can only use the first move they are ordered to use. Both effects last for one scene.

*Slight Retcon/Flashback*
(Main reason for flashback is currently, Spira technically hasn't introduced himself to the Sneasel, meaning its kinda awkward that he knows Spira's name.)
"Oh by the by, the name's Spira."

Seeing a Giant black feline prance right up to the group in toe with Spira caught Terra off in a moderate way, causing him to involuntarily back-up from them blinking before they even asked for space, but when they spoke and revealed themselves to be a merchant, that REALLY ignited his interest.

'Talking Cat? Talking Merchant Cat? Awesome. Very, VERY awesome. Must do business with them. Now.'

With that brief thought in mind, the mountain of a man wastes hardly any time introducing himself to colossal cool cat, already in Business Mode and ready to make some deals!

"Greetings, Mr. Merchant Cat. I am Terra. Terra Sanaa Ismet. I happen to be a merchant myself, and I would be more than delighted to do trade goods and do transactions with you. Just name what you desire, and if it's within my means and power, you will have.....so long as you can afford it, that is. You also have my sincere gratitude for giving us your assistence in finding The Sword. *Bows* Thank you."

First things first (after saying the above): Terra would want to buy the Heavy Ball for $10000 (Or 1/4 of his share of the Chasm Loot). He'd want it so he could actually catch a Giant Pokemon himself, as such gargantuan beast were beyond unique and valuable, and therefore desirable to Capture! If anyone else wants it, though, that trade would probably have to be put on hold, unless they have more than one.

Secondly, Terra would see that the Giant Sneasil is hungry (such a thing should be obvious to a 'chef' , and offer to make a fine meal for them in exchange for lowering the price of the Heavy Ball by 20% . If they end up not liking the meal, however, Terra would make them another one for free and instead pay 20% more for his Heavy Ball to repay the shame of serving them a poorly prepared meal.

Thirdly, Terra would ask if they'd be interested in joining the group and becoming his partner, and if so, what would the price of their companionship be? Probably not going to happen, but how COULD my chara. resist the opportunity to get a Talking Merchant Pokemon?

"Oh, you're going to cook me a surface meal? Well, we'll see if it's... we'll see how I like it, but you're trying to feed me something that's better than, that's worth, you know, a lot of coins. So I'm not sure this will work out for you, but I'll be honest with my, you know, evaluation."

You shake on it.

3 Insight + 5 Survival + 5 Chemistry = 13, penalty of 3 because of the challenge involved = 10.
vs Sneasel's Will of 12.

Terra: (3)(6)(5)(6)(3)(1) (1)(6)(1)(1) = 2 successes
Will: (2)(6)(1)(6)(4)(2) (1)(1)(5)(5)(1)(2) = 3 successes

It's a very close failure but a failure nonetheless. Do you want to describe what you cook?

Sneasel eats it with his claws, disregarding any silverware provided. "Oh, that's surprisingly, it's, you know, better than I expected." Sneasel's never had a prepared meal before and didn't really know what to expect. "I won't charge you any extra, but it's not the greatest thing I've ever eaten, either. You have my, that is, I appreciate the effort, and I'd like to try more. Swing by on your way out of the Ruins, if you're still, you know, if you survived."

He sells you the Heavy Ball at his first asking price.

Shiva, are you buying the Apricorn?
