I don't really want to fight that huge NidokingKing unless absolutely necessary = it's the last straw we have, as he'll very much be a total beast to battle, and my feelings tell me he'll very well have some Plotdevice'd advantages to throw at us.

If he was able to naturally deal Plot Device damage, I don't think he'd need to use the Sword. The Sword itself is a Plot Device, and the whole point of this is to make it so the Nidos don't have to be reliant on a Plot Deviced effect.

It's times like this I wish there was a close PC. Caesar and Nidorina could have a great opportunity in learn Horn Drill.

Welp, Nido didn't end up biting at those offers in the end, and we don't exactly have the time to teach a few squads of his subjects Horn Drill/Fissure. That leaves us with either going with the whole 'Threaten his kingdom with total obliteration' gambit and then rob him of The Sword (Which would be a kingly thing to do, in a very rustic sense of the term), or go with my plan and have Terra just give himself up as there servant. And since I don't think Nathan would be desperate/callous enough to go with the first option.......well, it seems obvious to me what need be done now.

I think you're jumping the gun a little there, Windos.

*Shrug* If I am, that's something which doesn't bother me. I honestly want the group to get The Sword, and I don't want to faff about trying to get it for much longer. So giving up Terra in exchange for that goal is a worthy sacrifice in mine and his eyes, even if it's hasty to do so
What I'm confused about is why you're seemingly so hesitate for me to go forward with that option. You, Nathan, and the whole group more or less stand to win greatly for Terra staying behind semi-permanently , and both of us are entirely willing to do so, so....why?
Heck, given the mind tampering Deoxys did to him, it probably be best if he didn't join the final fight, least he'd get mind-whammied.

The negotiations ARE working, even if it is a little slow. Have a little patience before jumping to a last resort, please. This is a VERY important matter, yes, but so is the matter of a player being removed from the game entirely.
