I can answer this one with how it works in the games: no, giving a Ditto a mega stone doesn't work.  Ditto can't utilize mega stones at all.

What a Ditto can do instead is Transform into an already mega evolved pokemon, thus having the increased stats without the penalty of needing to hold a specific item.

Even if it did work, Ditto would need to see the pokemon in question to be able to Transform into it. And that's kinda hard to do with extinct species.

Well, I will grab Delta Metagrossnite, Mega Steelixnite and Mega Aggronite. With these ones, I could Mega any of my three Steel types. Maybe Heart could identify the other stones. Or we could grab all of them and carry with us to better analysis.

Eeeeh....that's not exactly what I was asking of you, mate. I want to know if you want any of the 'Unusable' Mega Stone and/or the extra/leftover Usable Mega Stones, not just the ones you've already determined you want (The afformention Steel Mega Trio) . If you do, we'll have to do some sort of split of the 30 stockpile of them between me, Dragonstrike, you, and possibly Phantom and Mika, and how to divide up the Usable ones the same way.

Ugh.....personally, for the Usable Megas we aren't going to be using at any point in the future (IE: If you don't have the Pokemon that can Mega Evolve with the current crop of M.S's, won't be getting one of them later, and/or simply don't desire to Mega Evolve one of the Pokemon if you do happen to obtain it later), I say we just take them a Community Treasure, then sell them for a lump sum and divide the Poke/Profits up among the group in a five way even split. I'd suggest the same solution to the 'Unusable' Mega Stones, but given their potential (future and research based), that can't be done.

So.....they're 30 'Unusuable' (Practically speaking) Mega Stones, along side the pairs of actually usuable one. Quite a bit, and plenty for everyone to get a large and fair share of the bounty!

Okay, first question: @Phantom, @Mika, and @Spirit , do you want any of those Unusuable Mega Stones, and if so, how many? Second Question: What about the remainder of the usable Mega Stones? How do we split them up between us? Third Question: will Iron at any point Roll out what those Unusuable Mega Stone are, just in case they want to spring a new Delta Mon/Newmon onto us that was formerly thought to be extinct that has them? Relatidly, is there something Mega Stones for Primal Pokemon, like the Primal Bulbasuar that Nathan has? Oh, and could a Ditto potentially turn into one of those Extinct Deltas and be able to utlize those Mega Stones?

Oh right, and about that trapdoor leading into the Throne Room... Guess that means we aren't able to open it now, so I compromise on not trying to open it now. I feel we DO have at least some of the keys, while I'm lost on what some others may be. BUT, I want for Shiva to search for a potential keystone here.

@PhantomUnderYourDesk : Nope, Ventus doesn't have any Delta, though he'd be happy recieving rare Mega Stones from his beloved regardless! Might not help with his research directly, but they certainly would go a long way into funding it and setting some aside for a nest egg/retirement fund for later! Heck, he could potentially use them to barter for the Mega Stones/Items Shiva is searching for above all else, or use the Poke to further invest in keeping his old group of friends nice and safely protected!

That aside, I got a question for you, dear: Iron said everyone needs to say how many Pokeballs they'll dedicate towards looting the Psuedo Throne Room, so I was wondering how many of yours would you contribute (If any)? It's a sound investment to expend as many Pokeballs as possible on this, as the profit the group can get for selling all this priceless treasure/relics is probably astronomically high and can easily recoup the cost of all the Pokeballs later, and that's not even counting the Scimitar Loot/Slowpoke Well Loot/various other Loot Items we've collected thus far! Still, this is ultimately your decision, so I shan't influence it any further than I already have.

Everyone else (@Spiritmon, @Mikaruge108, @Dragonstrike), how many Pokeballs are you willing to invest in looting the place too?

Ah, if the unidentified Megastones can't help in his research, than in fundraising indeed! I was just about to ask whether Shiva could send them to Ventus so that he has them as soon as possible, but I won't because they are too worthy to be sent around, as the parcel can get stolen or be lost. So she'll keep them to hand them once they meet again in person, okay?

I'm now already a bit lost what to do with all the cash received from selling so-far-collected loot, but there certainly will be ways, and there are one or two costy things I'd like to have. There better be good Movetutors along the way, that too!~ I can contribute 7 normal Pokeballs to hold loot of the place, the four old ones just found she keeps.
