[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Botanville's quite the lovely place, now that Nathan's had a chance to actually visit the town and look at it himself.  A mix of the progress of Stair and the nature of Cress...he can't deny it certainly has its own charm to it.

Though he's not sure he'd like to live here.  Achilles's offer has given him a lot to think about concerning his future, and that's at the forefront of his thoughts while he's looking for Mason.

Fortunately, the gym leader's not too hard to find.  Nathan listens carefully to what Mason has to say, definitely very interested in the history of the gym.

Once Mason brings up the topic of his research, though, Nathan smiles.  "Well, I can promise you that I definitely have some strange and unique pokemon to show off.  Let me go reorganize my party real quick, and then we can get started."

Nathan's ready, so all that's needed is Mason's team before I can get typing!

Mason has a shiny Sudowoodo the color of the ancient Ginkgo tree in the center of town, a random Fossil Pokemon of your choice, a mildly hard-of-hearing Tyranitar, and his ace - a new Creshire-only Pokemon called Fishur. It's a teeny-tiny weasel-like Water/Ground Pokemon with the power to cause earthquakes and the ability to bypass defenses. It uses Double Team, OHKO moves, Earthquake, and Muddy Water (well, four of those).

Heart flies over the path of destruction wrought by Deoxys. There are a few ecosystems that were impacted:

[*]The semi-tropical, fire-acclimated forests around the base of Mt. Ember in Trillium Town. There are already new seedlings pushing their way up through all the debris, but there is so much dead wood that it's hard for them to find light. Pokemon have still not come back to the outskirts of town, but most of the ranches and farms are beginning repairs.

[*]The savannahs around Teazel Valley. There were only a few trees here and there on any given patch of savannah, but they were ancient trees that took centuries to reach maturity. It takes a lot of luck for a tree to grow past the seedling stage without getting chewed by a Nidoran or Tauros. Deoxys destroyed or damaged almost all of these trees. However, there aren't many species who rely on those trees, so the Pokemon side of things is already almost back to normal.

[*]Elanor. This is the saddest loss, all the beautiful flowering fruit orchards and gardens covered in dust and smashed by debris. The cultivated forests were knocked over like dominoes.

Terra's opinion of Botanville was all to apparent as he touched down outside it with Angie (And having her borrow underground shortly thereafter), a board smile on his face as he took in the naturalistic scenery and how artfully it blended into and coexisted with more modern constructions. Compared to Stair City it was a refreshing take on advanced civilization for the mountain of a man, reminding him heavily of Fortree City and Lavaridge Town back home, but with its own unique cultural elements that made it all the more intriguing for him.

He'd be inclined to explore the area and see what he turns up or stumbles across, but Nathan's unwavering focus on getting to conquering the next Gym drives him to follow after them, though he does make sure to admire the sights and scenery as he headed towards the campus and the Gym on it. Additionally, he took the time to make and review a mental list of tasks he'd wanted to do before leaving the city, and after catching but a glimpse of what it held he found it (the list) to be growing longer by the second. Might have to spend a few days here to get everything done inbetween his various business projects, at this rate!

In the Gym itself and with Mason, the sagely monk was characteristic quiet and stoic , letting the young historian handle talking with the robust looking builder for the most part. However, when they outlined the research portion of their duties he grew more intrigued, and decided to voice it to the man after he was finished speaking.

"Can you help me research one of my Pokemon, in a private battle? Think you can.....help me understand them more, and I don't want to......attract to much attention using them in public. *Beat* Also, want to challenge you as a Gym Leader, but not today. Today is Nathan's challenge against you."

You get responses from a lot of Pokemon: Cherubi, Tropius, Bellossom, Sunflora, Pansage, Lilligant, and Roselia.
Also some non-Grass mons, like Pidgey and Aipom.

Now that you know your resources, what power specifically are you requesting?

Mason will agree to help you research a Pokemon in battle, or point you to a researcher who can better help.

Heart begin to concentrate about what to do. He talks with Viktor and all the Pokemon around. "Viktor. We gonna do just like we did in the desert. Last time we create a oasis. But now our task is a bit more complicated. We must restore a whole forest. I think I should have bring Chespin too. Everyone. I need you lend a bit of your power. Lend me a bit of your Earthpower, and I will be the channel to use the power to restore the forest."

Quetzal, Netune and Rose also was summoned.

Heart begin to chant his power though words.

Oh great Earthpower who surround us all, hear my prayer
By my burning heart who shine as a Infernape...
My body firm and strong as the earth ruled by a Steelix...
My sea soul who adapt to adversaties like a Swampert...
My mind wise as tree like a Trevenant...
And by my unbreakable spirit like a noble Doublade...
And by the link of all Pokemon who is with me and desire a new begining...
Ancestors of the past, please, grant me strengh now...
Earthpower, grant me your blessing...
Fire, Ground, Water, Grass and Steel!
Five elements unite as one!

Heart said that words. Words is the connection between miracles and reality. He want to try to restore as much possible nature in these forests. He call the elements who form nature: The fire who burn but make the earth reborn with nutrients. The ground where life begin again. The water who all life depend on it. The grass formed in the grass and water. And the steel where earth founds the pillars of strengh.

He is a ArcHeart, and he is not gonna give up!

Your repeated chant brings you in touch with not only your ancestor spirits, but also in touch with the Pokemon and the power of Nature that flows through them. You start seeing what each Pokemon can bring - seeds from Sunflora, energy from Cherubi, wind from Tropius, care from Pansage. You see what moves you might call upon from those Pokemon to weave together into a new ecosystem. With your newly acquired Scimitar powers, it becomes possible to unite the elements - not only the Types, but the individual organic factors that make the earth come alive.

A Sunny Day, a Seed Bomb, a Gust, a Helping Hand - they emanate forth from your spirit, and before your eyes the orchard begins to regrow. Trevenant rushes forward to collect the spirits of fallen trees and place them into the seedlings to help them grow. Within a few days, the people of Elanor will be harvesting fruits again.

Honedge watches sagely.
