[Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
So we've come upon the group's first major decision: Whether or not to stay and trust Cubone, or ditch him and strike out on our own . Personally, I'd prefer staying with him, as IC Pyra is currently enamored and wants to learn all she can from them, and OOC I figure that even if they do turn out to be a bad guy of sorts its better to stick with them and keep them under watch to prevent their true nature from being too widely spread . That, and if we become good enough friends with them we can count on their aid and support in future endevours even if they are bad to the bone! Being Evil or on the wrong side of things doesn't preclude you from being friendly and helpful to those you care about, after all (It just makes it a lot more complicated and tentative) .

I have the same opinion. We need a place to stay to sharp our powers in our new Poke Bodies and be strong to handle in our own. Joining a Guild or not, we need to be able to fight in this new world.

Alright Dragon, I'm having a question about Logic and the ability to read and write as a Pokemon that just came to me, related to the current scenario:

It's common sense that it takes some more points in Logic Stat to be able to read and write, uh, 'human language'. But what about reading and writing the language of the Pokemon, as in reading and writing this footprint-language? Can our charas just do that due to being a Pokemon now, do they need to learn it first, something else? Asking because I actually like the idea of Kee in particular keeping a diary during downtime like Sunflora and Bidoof did in Explorers, as well as - perhaps more importantly - noting down important stuff like the info Marcus just gave.

It'll have to be learned, but with a little assistance, the pokemon equivalent of reading and writing shouldn't be very difficult IC, though.  No rolls or specific stats required, just a little time.

I was wondering about this myself, so I'm glad that learning to read/write in Pokemonese / Unown Alphabet isn't particularly effort intensive! Pyra's definately going to pick up this skillset herself ASAP, along with some way to record notes and findings!

As for me and Kogeki, I will be fully focus in training and get as much power he can. Right now, he only have 1 in Instincts and 2 in Logic. He need to gain more experience to unlock new moves, level up as much possible his stats, starting with Vitality!

Kogeki was a bodyguard while he was human, and that wasn't change even when he is a Riolu.

How much XP I gain if I do training sessions of 4-6 hours per day Dragonstrike?

Gonna be fairly small amounts for almost every training session.  Much faster to get practical experience.

I will be fainted if I get on a practical experience. I have 4 of total HP. I will die if I go in serious battles.

Alright, how much XP I would gain in training sessions of 10 hours with no stop?

Personal opinion: I think you're worrying just a little too much about that.  Trust me, early battles should not be killing your character.  Maybe faint if you get unlucky or run into one unprepared (or maybe if you're fighting a boss), never kill.

Would still be a rather small amount of exp compared to experience in the field.

I'd save questions about training sessions until you're in the town proper.

And training in Guild bases? They should have training people to help gain some good experience in training sessions?
