Nathan's done with this topic for now, and motions for Shiva and everyone else to back away from the symbols and keypad before he summons Porygon-Z and Pulse.  "Need that blue keypad's password bypassed or changed, you two.  Do your thing."

Pulse appears in the display of the Water keypad, grimacing and sweating in the LCD screen. Apparently this is a lot more challenging than the previous one.

Porygon jumps into the EARTH keypad first, to see how it looks when solved. Pulse, in the other one, quickly bypasses it with a few communications from Porygon. That made it very easy.

Zwip! The other I-beam slides aside, and a crack is now visible in the wall. The traps go inactive. With a little sideways pressure on the wall, it slides aside.

Behind are some steps that lead downward and back around in the direction you just came from. At the bottom of the staircase is a thick metal door with no lock, only a rotating handle that looks well-maintained. The entire door is painted to look like this symbol:

Well if the topic's done, good! But Shiva can't help but to feel somewhat hurt when Nathan chooses to act so huffy.


Downwards the stairs and steps it goes then until being right in front of that ☢-door. How curious... Shiva kinda feels like they've been going around in a circle when she examinates this door. Ohhhh, it's not even locked! Why should it be if it's already protected by two passwords, haha. "Uh, okay people, we better put on these hazmat suits again, shall we? Just in case please."

And then she opens the door with the well-maintained rotating handle - is it like she believes it to be, with this door leading them into that nuclear room again but from a different direction?

Heart put the hazmat suit again. "Lets go then. We have a battle to win."

Nope. You are now partly below the nuclear room. The makers of this new room took good advantage of the heavy concrete-and-steel walls for their new project. The other half of the room is directly below the room with the passwords.

On the ceiling is a seal and an energy conduit rune, the one Heart couldn't identify. There are also thick cables hanging down from the nuclear generator. Your Geiger counters are going off.

Inside the room are steel cages with shimmering planes of force between the bars. Around the perimeter of each cage are several more runes, made of wires, which Heart identifies as the same sort of docility-circuit found in a Scimitar glove. And inside each of the fourteen cages, is a Nucleon.

The Nucleon are of various ages. Some look ill, while others are healthy. One is missing the flesh on one limb, limping back and forth in the small cage on a skeletal paw. Another lost an eye (leaving two).

Each cage is locked with a heavy steel padlock; no sign of any keys. One side of each cage is similar to Bill's PC display, automatically providing the occupant with food and water sent in data form. A central console allows someone with either password to control these displays. Most of the cages are hooked up to the cables that descend from the ceiling.

The emotions coming from this room are those of creatures who feel far less in control of their environments. Creatures who are NOT happy with the way they've been treated.

Eeeeek....! ...ヾ(  ＞A＜)シ Needlless to say, but Shiva's very obviously very terrified and distraught by what greets her within this room and instantly edges closer to Ventus to seek his closure. What a... disturbing sight in every way and manner! THIS must be what Cosh has hinted on when he told about something the League may not yet know, isn't it? How cruel, have the Scimitars...been following their own project and secretly taking advantage by the nuclear generator set up by Almanac to force some poor Eevee to evolve against their will...? Looks like it, but still the sensitve fae-enthusiast finds it haaaaard to believe and swallow.


It takes her some moments to gather her agitated feelings and catch herself again, and then she nudges Ven/@Lord Windos: "Uh, listen please... Do you think you could, well, take photos of this room and file them to Dagny? Like, NOW and DIRECTLY TO HER please... She and the League need to know about this and these unlucky Pokemon as soon as only possible. That, and I fear we alone can hardly do anything right now, c-can we...?"

There are a few things she/me want to try however:
For once, since Shiva does have a password she can access that central console where all the cages' displays come together; and so she does. Are there any other options displayed bar providing food and water, are there any 'interesting' data, files or commands?
For second, she gets to the cage holding that Nucleon with the skeletal paw in particular and comes as close to it and the bars as she can; as if she wants to greet and check on this exemplar. "H-hello, you...", she whispers. She mainly wants to see how it reacts, whether it tries to attack or asks for help or anythingselse.

The injured Nucleon just shrinks back into the far corner of its cage. If it got scared enough, it might attack, but usually it will try to hide or flee first.

Most of the commands just let you deposit an item into the cage. There IS a logfile of how each Nucleon came here. Things like:
-Evolved in the lab
-Evolved in the submarine
-Unknown; collected by Water Scimitars in a city
-Wounded by the military
-Found on Garlicburg wandering loose

That kind of thing. So while some were the subject of experiments as Eevee, most were collected to hush up the existence of Nucleon and co-opted by Scims.

Well, since his precious angel asked nicely (and timidly) enough, I suppose Ven would attempt to take several pictures on his cellphone/whatever dubiously 'legal' comm. device he has and send them off (if he can here) as requested, though he be really Skittish and careful about it. That, and he'd shoot Shiva some pursed lipped frowns every now and then to unsubtly broadcast to her that he was not A)  exactly pleased with her increasing fascination and protectiveness over Nuclear Pokemon, and B) impressed with the recent revelation she cooperated with a Scimitar beyond chasing them off, beating them senseless, or worse. Trouble in paradise there will be, for the fledgling and somewhat kooky couple....

You'd need Nathan's antenna-boosting mon to get a signal out of here.

Hmm, alright. So, @Dragonstrike, does Nathan have this Dedenne with him at the moment?

(If not, then Shiva wishes the files sent to Dagny as soon as they HAVE a signal, whenever that may be)
