Do the TRs and non-traditional TMs in Gen 8 count at all, though?  Because Iron turned down Psychic Terrain earlier, which would mean that Dragon Dance also isn't eligible.

Psychic Terrain isn't at all in the corebook-version we're using for this campaign, while Play Rough (a TR in Gen.8 and a TM in LetsGoPika/Eevee) and Dragon Dance (a TR in Gen.8) indeed are, so that might explain why PsychicTerrain is declined and PlayRough accepted. Same for Caustic Breath that I once asked about for my Luxi, that move was declined as well because it's exclusive to Uranium = not in the corebook.

I personally thought Iron just banned Psychic Terrain simply because it came from Gen 7 Content, which Iron has mostly taken a unilateral stance of not including too much of (along with Gen 8) outside of a few very rare Pokemon he's given the group in the past (Such as Shiva's A-Vulpix and Heart's A-Geodude, to name the two example I remember) . Thought that since it was the post game now and P.T.'s Effects were pretty simple to understand and convert the version of Pokerole they're using that I may have been possible to get a copy of the Move, but I was wrong. Not too bother by that, however, since it means I have less to choose from from what I want out of the Psychic TMs (Nathan/Dragonstrike wants Psychic, I want Reflect or Light Screen, and I don't know what you or Spirit wants).

Speaking of TMs, does anyone want one of the Nuclear ones Ven 'collected' ? I know I said he was not going to be too keen on letting them out of his possession, but now that I have thought it over I realize that isn't very fair from an OOC/Player perspective, so I'm willing to have him share them with the group (I'll find a reason why he'd do so IC) if anyone still wants one. Ven's keeping a copy of Nuclear Wind, though, as I/him are as of yet undecided if he wants to teach Lucifer it or not.

Err.....can someone tell me how many Elemental Rooms their are again?  Because now we have such a large quantity of TMs to choose from, and I want to know how many Types we're picking from so I can make a list of what TMs I'd and cross reference it with everyone elses (if they have one), then give a a finalized/compiled list to Iron so we all get what we want with minimal fuss and confusion.

From my understanding, there's one for every canon type with 3 TMs each.

That's......a lot of TMs for us to pillage from across all 6 Generations. Oh boy, this will take me awhile.....

Wait, all the Canon types? Does that include Shadow from Pokemon Colossium/XD? Because those are Canon Pokemon games to my knowledge.

Shadow isn't really a conventional Type.  Nor does it have any existing TMs anyways.

Well, I dont have much of a opinion about the topic of TMs so you people can decide which move we should take it.

Thinking about it a bit more, I'm still not sure about the validity of TRs and Gen 8 TMs in this case, tbh.  Mostly because Gen 8 shook up the formula a ton with its selection by making such a wide variety of moves (including tutor moves and moves typically only learned through leveling/breeding) available through that method.

If Iron says including Gen 8 TMs and/or TRs is fine, then great.  But until I get confirmation, I'm not likely to be completely confident that my selections will all be okay.

Example: If a Gen 6 move became a TM in Gen 7 or 8, that's fine. This just doesn't unlock any new moves that weren't in the rulebook.


Another way to look at this is for everyone to go for moves they've been hoping for, and then simply liquidate whatever's left. 18*3*2500 is a lot of money.

...I was not expecting that Nathan's warning to Ventus that there were other forces at play would actually be relevant at this point in the Garlicburg exploration.  This is...concerning, to put it simply.

'To master a skill until....' Do you possibly mean 'skill' as in 'Skill as stated in the chara-sheet'?

Oh, you changed your mind? If Ventus is really really okay with it in-chara, then I'd happily take one of those TMs of Half Life for smol Nucleon, yay! Shiva in-chara still has no idea about those findings of her love though, so it's up to you/him to approach her with this.

Me neither! Oh dear.....this is not going to have a pleasant effect on my OG chara's already tenuous grasp on sanity, and Terra's likely to become most aggravated that the Eye is now starting to becoming a everpresent threat to his charges (once he gets over the DIVE induced slump he's in).

Well, I dont have much of a opinion about the topic of TMs so you people can decide which move we should take it.

That's very generous, thank you so much!~ But, uh, are you sure you don't want anything? Is there no ?-move on one of you Pokemon that also is a TM in a canon Gen. of the games? That's a chance to obtain one of those.
Just remember, we've got 3 Slots for every elemental Type as a party, and Psychic Type is already claimed. Fairy is so too unless Windos wishes for a TM of PlayRough or DazzlingGleam (do you, @Lord Windos?), as if not I'll take another disk of Dazzling Gleam for another fairy of Shiva.
