The bigger the fall, the more damage you'll take.  Fall damage is particularly dangerous, so expect it to be Lethal (at my discretion) if it seems likely that ya might break something upon impact.

This cliff is about a 20 foot drop, and I'm thinking I'll roll 2 dice of damage for every 10 feet for the time being since taking damage isn't completely guaranteed, and particularly long falls need to be very, very dangerous.  This may be subject to change later.

Hmm....all that sounds fair and logical enough without being too overbearring, so it has my approval for being a new rule for the game. Pyra has 5 HP (eventually 6 once she hits her growth spurt), so worst case scenario she's still left with 1 HP, while the average odds says she'll take roughly 2-3 Damage (not counting any double [1] rolls).

@Spiritmon : Well, if you and Phantom insist on it, I suppose Pyra can wait on the cliff top and act as overwatch/sentry with/without Dax , but I personally would like to see if the lil' demoness could tank the fall and get right back to skipping around, or learn a valuable lesson about looking before you leap (literally!) . That, and Kee/Kogeki could wait at the bottom of the cliff and help catch/break Pyra's Fall to reduce the amount of Damage she takes, if that is something Dragonstrike rules is reasonable/plausible.

Breaking a short fall successfully would reduce the risk of serious injury, yes. May require extra rolls, of course.

I don't insits on anything here, dear. In fact what Kee's going to do is just tossing both the bag from the Guild as well as his guitar bag down the cliff, climb down said cliff using his sharp claws + jagged jaw + instincts as a Ziggy to make it safely down there, then take a leap of faith once he's roughly a meter away from the bottom of the cliff right into the bags he tossed down earlier to cushion his fall.

If Pyra wishes to learn a lesson and just straight up jump down, she totally can if that's what you wish to try - though then it's likely better if she aims to land on the guild bag + guitar bag instead of on Kee himself, as I fear she's crush him = Damage him given the difference in size.

Welp, if not, then I suppose Pyra's going to take the plunge without anyone's help  as I expect the consequences for attempting and failing to climb down the cliff will be steeper than 4D6 Damage and I don't want her to hurt anyone! All aboard the solo pain train, choo choo!

I'd be careful about dropping and landing on your Bags, though, as you never know if Dragonstrike won't Roll/make Items in them break/ruin them upon being impacted enough......

Remember mate, if Pyra faint during the fall she might go beserk due to Primal State, and raise the Primal Status. And if she faint again in the future, she might loose 1 point in logic, and raising again Primal State once. And if she faint a third time...she will complete dominate by her Primal State and loose what's left of humanity who is worse than death.

@Lord Windos

That's why I against unnecessary risk. Only Kee and Kogeki should be enough to get the Apple.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

She has 5 HP and is at max health, so that fall has a 0% chance of Fainting her, unless Dragonstrike decides to include additional Hazards to chip her down to 0.....

Not terribly worried about her losing all her Logic anyway either, since she's a complete amnesiac and therefore she wouldn't be overly affected by the loss of what scant few memories she has of being human. Still don't want her to Faint, however, as I want to get Logic maxed so that she can build and craft ALL the goodies and gain a better understanding of the world, so I'm not going to stop being entirely careful about her health and safety. Only just this once so it will serve as a learning experience for her, okay mate?

Humm, you're not wrong about this - Well, then I'll take precautions to prevent this from happening before Kee's starting to climb down the cliff. I'll get to post and describe his actions in GameThread then!~

Nah, I've got a Tiny Reviver Seed with me to prevent any Primal Points early. Of course, just because I want to carry one of these seeds with me always as a safety net doesn't mean to engage in obviously dangerous actions without thinking first.

Loosing what's left of one's humanity isn't worse than death though, that's a bit exaggerated I feel - Sure, memory and quest will be forgotten, but since Kee wasn't especially happy as a human, becoming a full-fledged Pokemon feels like a complete fresh start/second chance for him.

Before I roll any dice, what exactly are you trying to do, @Spiritmon?  Jump for the tree from your current position?  It's still a bit of a distance away from your current position.

Well, run towards the tree using Quick Attack to double my speed and in the last minute taking opportunity of the moment when close to the chasm jump and reach/grab the tree to go after the apple.

Is this possible or a bit complicated to pull off?

Possible, but potentially difficult.  The tree isn't on the other side of the chasm, it's at the top of the incline leading down into the chasm, and it's far enough away that you can't tell exactly what's on/around it.
