[Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

Ohhh, rather useful. Well done! Added a link to that sheet in my custom tab for recruited Pokemon in my own charasheet. (That tab isn't intended to hold all Stats, but rather an image+summary of the Pokemon's personality and how we met them.)

Can't work ourselves to the bones all the time unlike in the games, you know, since we don't have the supplies, wealth, or overall super fitness to keep up a brisk schedule of dungeoneering. Marcus said the job could be done either today or tomorrow of this in game day, so it's not like we can't afford a break from him too. How about it, mates?

We still have two jobs in the Distant Desert to complete that we took with the intention to complete them another Day - But Markus' escort kinda seems to have priority over that. However, I have nothing against a calm Day without any dungeoncrawling so that suggestion's fine from me.

On a related note, adventuring groups are comprised of 3-5 pokemon typically, so now that you have some recruits, you could start splitting the work up and getting tasks done more efficiently.

Oh. Then maybe someone would want to come with me to Distant Desert to deliver an Oran Berry to a Snorunt and defeat a Komala-outlaw?

If we can delegate the Distant Desert Jobs to the new recruits + Karen to form a 3 member Party (and a rather well rounded one at that), then we could essentially leave them to Dragonstrike to resolve in the background while the rest of the group prepares themselves for Marcus' Favor in game tomorrow + just relax for a change of pace. How's that grab you (and everyone else) ?

That'd be possible... But I'd actually would wish to go and complete the jobs (or at least help on them) for more field experience and potential loot instead of completely leaving it to be dealt with at GM's discretion, so it wouldn't especially fit me nor Kee's in-chara-desires. I in particular don't have anything to do nor plans to do bar the obvious daily stops (Kecleon Shop and related), and spending the Day training/relaxing wouldn't bring me as much XP as dungeoncrawling would do.

On the other hand, if I+recruits+Karen would go complete the jobs at the desert, you other would be semi-stuck waiting for these to be completed even after you've done your desired tasks in town. I could and would hurry in the means of not making lengthy posts, but even so you people will be likely done faster with your tasks in town than me+NPCs dungeoncrawling.

I'd like Dax to go with the recruits if that's okay. Dax and Karen seem to be the most welcoming to them, and I wouldn't mind letting you guys take care of the Secret Quarry if we're doing that in this in-game day.

That's the catch 22 right there dear if you/Kee are super intent on dungeon crawling until you can't crawl no more. You either leave the Jobs to the DMPC Party to not estrange anyone timeline wise and miss out on possible goodies/XP, or you don't and you do leave us in a lurch time and XPwise, which I DON'T like, as I'd like everyone to be evenly leveled as possible so that no one (not the player!) feels left behind. If you insist on doing the later I'm pretty much going to have join them to not fall behind with Pyra, which ruins MY plans for a free day and somewhat renders it pointless for everyone else if have the players are going to be MDC (Mystery Dungeon Crawling) regardless (since I doubt they want to be left twittling their thumbs after they get their stuff done [unless Dragonstrike or No One/Spirit finds a way to pace it just right, which would mean more work for them] ).

In other words, one of us is going to have to take a Bullet Punch for the other's plans if we can't compromise, which is....less than satisfactory, me thinks.

Hmmm wouldn't that depend on your idea of evenly levelled? Because Dax is kinda still on level 7 lol. Unless all of your characters are more or less there as well.

.....*Sighs* It seems my plans were doomed to the start then, since you don't seem to want to relax either. Honestly, I don't even know why I suggest or make anything outside of battle strategies, since almost nobody is willing to go along with them, even when I try to rationalize or make incentives to do so....

Oh what did you have in mind for Pyra for the day? I guess we could do a training session with the Poliwrath with the recruits if you'd like Day 4 as a break day? Just to get a bit of experience. We can split up for missions in Day 5 if that's the case.
