[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

That's all for what Kee aimed to do here at Café Connection, can't speak for Kogeki or Platina. The next thing he wishes to visit is the "Kecleon Shop! He greets the two brothers with an energetic salute and jolly expression. "Good mornin', ya two! It's me again, checkin' up on what fine goodies ya're selling t'day... Got an important mission ahead that I CAN'T an' WON'T fail, so ya better don't disappoint me with yar supply on sale t'day!~"

Are the goods they are selling the same one like those presented to Daxter when he visits the shop, or is it different? I'd outta-chara guess it's the same, but Kee in-chara wouldn't know if it is or not.

"Ah, good morning Kee!  Welcome back to the shop!"

"Ooh, an important mission?  How exciting!  Won't want to leave without some supplies for Adventuring then!"

They show Kee exactly the same stock, except there's only one of each of the listed items, so anything one team purchases can't be purchased by the other.  If there's any conflicts of interest, we can settle those in the meta thread.

(Hey guys, I'm FINALLY free from Exams, and I think I passed all of them well enough to get into the next semester! Fucking EXCELLENT, ahaha! Got a few weeks of free time to burn now, so I can finally rest and relax for a bit!)

So....I don't actually have much to say or add about the Cafe scene IC, since Dragonstrike either glossed over Platina meeting with her rescuers parents or hasn't done it yet for reasons, and didn't let her Beauty Check for a free meal happen due to their not being a viable enough target for it. That, and Platina isn't one to but into a conversation unless what she has to say is important or involves serious business, so she has nothing to add there either. With all this in mind, I'm just going to make some bullet points I want to see addressed in game, and hopefully we can just speed past them and onto the real meat and potatoes of Chapter 2:

* Once more: Try a Beauty + Allure Check to see if ANYONE would be willing to pay for a $100 Poke for her (Which, based on the descriptions you provided, should keep herself full for 1 Mystery Dungeon length trip, if I am not mistaken?). If that fails, she'll Bite the Bullet Punch and pay for it herself, as she doesn't want to starve herself in the first adventure she has with her new group.
* She'll tag along with Kee to the Keck's Shops, and avail herself of one Apple for $20 Poke, no attempt to bargain or use her looks to get a cheaper price since Apples are perfectly affordable without resorting to such tricks. That should leave her Inventory of 5 Full, not counting the Scarf she's wearing.
* Correct me if I am wrong, but the Keckleon Brothers are based off the first two MD games ones, yes (One Green, the other Purple) ? If so, she'll make a comment about that, expressing a bit of interest at that and asking if one of them may perhaps be Shiny or atypical like her. I don't think she knows too much about a lot of Pokemon species due to her background, so this is more of a learning experience for her than anything else.
* Ask if they (The Kecks) know anyone that can possibly expand a Bag to carry more, since she would like to have the space to pick up stuff during the adventure and not leave her supplies behind. 
* More as a question to the DM, but do Normal Bottles exist in this world? Because Bottles can have a wide variety of uses, and possibly even help manage inventory space if you can cram stuff in them. On that note, somebody should probably try to find Hoopa's bottle in town before the group embarks on their journey, so that he can help out for at least one MD before getting ported back to Sahra.

As agreed in the Meta thread, that one Oran Berry and 2 of the Geo Pebbles are instantly bought by Ziggy Kee!~ I've added these two Items and disctracted 50P$ + whatever the two Geo Pebbles cost. They'll be brought to Kanga to store, before Kee too is ready to heas to the Lapras Liner to meet up with Espeon and Umbreon!~

(My apologies to not getting to your prior post.  I was going to address it if things moved smoothly enough that we would be moving on to the Lapras Travel Liner, but alas, life got in the way and posts have slowed down again.  Regardless, on with the show!)

Platina's Allure:

- So, when Platina tries to attract someone's attention with a little more desperation, funnily enough, she actually catches the eyes of Sandslash and Hippowdon, who seem very interested in meeting the pokemon that their kids found on the beach.  After explaining her situation, the two mother pokemon are more than happy to purchase Platina a meal that'll fill the shiny birdie up for the duration of a single Mystery Dungeon for 100 Poké.  If asked where their kids are, Sandslash and Hippowdon also say that they've been playing on the beach, near the Lapras Travel Liner.

- The Kecleon brothers are indeed based off of the iconic shopkeepers from the games, and the Purple Kecleon just chuckles whimsically when asked about why he's pruple.

"Ah, I suppose you could say I'm atypical compared to most Kecleon.  It just so happens that those of us who really, really like Wonder Orbs and TMs like them so much, that we turn Purple in excitement!  It's a bit of a family trait, you see."

- The Kecleon merchants mention that the Guild sometimes gives higher Ranked Teams access to larger bags.  It might also be possible to craft a larger bag, but the merchants don't sell any materials that'd be useful for such a task.

- As seen in the Explorers games, standard Bottles do exist in the PMD world!  The real trick would be finding or crafting such a thing...

Kogeki:

4 - Ask a spice berry shake and maybe information about any Skarmory rumors.

Nobody's seen any Skarmory around Sahra Town recently, and they seem to be far more inclined to talk about the sparkling, metallic bird that Sandshrew and Hippopotas found this morning.  Gothorita drearily reminds Kogeki that they tend to mind their own business in the mountains.  He could try looking there for a feather.  "Or maybe see if you're new friend's feathers might be a suitable substitute?  I dunno, I have work to do.  Look, just stop bothering me with these questions and let me go get your breakfeast, okay?"

(Gonna post this next part now so everyone can react to it.  Any shopping still being conducted can be addressed in a flashback before you guys depart.)

Daxter, Kee, Kogeki, and Platina make their way to the Lapras Travel Liner next.  Rowlet (now wearing the Persim Scarf he was given earlier), Snom, Ampharos, Espeon, and Umbreon meet everyone there, and the more experienced pokemon seem to be having a lively conversation with each other.

"So these Entercards are what allow you to travel across the world without Lapras?"

"Oh yeah.  We're going to be using them to return to the Mist Continent."

"Just as soon as Team Omega Seekers shows up, that is.  We can't leave without them, after all."

"And we can't leave without Team Night Wardens!  I think Lapras will have enough room for all of us..."

"Oh, speaking of those Teams, here they come!"  Mawile turns and waves everyone over.  "Over here!  We were just discussing how we were going to be traveling!"

Everyone joins the group, and the conversation begins anew to bring everyone up to speed.  "Well, now that we're all here, I suppose we need to establish what exactly it is we'll be doing, no?"

"Most certainly!  Nothing complex on our end.  All we and Team Night Wardens will be doing is riding Lapras over to the Water Continent.  It'll take some time, but it'll give us a chance to exchange notes and visit the Expedition Society."

Umbreon looks at Team Omega Seekers.  "You all came prepared for a Mystery Dungeon, right?  We're going to be traveling through one on our way back to the Mist Continent."

Suddenly, everyone hears a loud, "WHOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAA!" come from further down the beach, and everyone turns to see what the commotion is.  It seems to have caught Lapras's attention too!

Sandshrew and Hippopotas seem to be very animatedly talking about something, and a strange, small, blue pokemon swimming in the ocean is chuckling to themselves as they watch the two children.

"What in the world is going on over there?  That blue pokemon...it looks strangely familiar..."

"Oh, do you know them, Lapras?"

"No, I do not.  But I can't help but feel I've heard of a pokemon like that before...maybe we should make sure everything's okay, just in case."

"Do you think we should go check that out, Ampharos?"

Ampharos shrugs.  "I'll admit I'm curious.  But what about our new friends?  What say you Daxter?"

Espeon and Umbreon look at each other before they turn to Team OS.

"Well, I suppose we have some time to spare still.  Right Umbreon?"

"I guess...the children don't sound like they're in danger, though, and time is of the essence right now."

"What do you think, Team Omega Seekers?  This might be interesting."

(...) Umbreon looks at Team Omega Seekers.  "You all came prepared for a Mystery Dungeon, right?  We're going to be traveling through one on our way back to the Mist Continent." (...)

Ziggy Kee looks back, an excited glimmer in his eyes, and nods enthusiastically. "'F course I came p'repared, happeh and honored to be travelin' with ya! ( ÒωÓ)و☆"


That commotion further down the beach causes the white crittercoon to DART his head into the direction the commotion came from, then dart it back to the two Eeveelutions. "Uh, 'f it's fine, Imma just go take a quick look on what's goin' on over there, an' make sure that none's in danger 'ndeed - sorreeeeh, 's a member of Delphox's Guild, I feel 'ccountable t' do so, and tha curiosity's killin' dear-me otherwise! ...Please? Just for very shortly!!"

Platina, belly fully sated and ready for journey ahead of her new group, was now quite in a good mood, cheerily humming a serene melody to herself as the group approached their escorts/partners on their quest to the Mist Continent. Especially since she had a God given stroke of fortune and meet up with the mothers of her rescuers, who paid for her meal and gave a lead of where they (their children) hang out! Certainly something she'll keep note of that for the future! Now all she needs is to track down this Flygon, and she'll have a full list to meet and thank!

The chatter from the sibling kitsune and the conductive duo caught the metallic avian's attention like a Vice Grip, prompting a very curiosity question to the former pair.

"Your 'Entercards' can do such things? You'll have to tell me about the finer details later - I might not understand everything about them, but that shouldn't deter me from learning about such curiosities!"

A little bit later, just as the Shiny Bird was about to give a frank nod to the Dark kistune, the commotion from the beach proves to be a distraction, and what fortuitous one it was when it appeared to be caused by the children that helped save her! Not one to deny what was clearly the Providence of God or turn away from it, Platina took one big eager *HOP!* into the air, spread her wings, and flew right over to the duo, not waiting or even listening for anyone's input on the matter! Talk about having gung-ho attitude! Once she got close to the kids, she'd attempt a stunning landing right in front of them to both dazzle and grab a hold of their attention tighter than a Krabby's pinching Poke! She making first impression with your heroes, so she wanted to make it a GRAND one!

(Only thing I what is a Allure Roll to make a stunning first impression with the kids! After which introduction proper can begin, yeah!)

While everyone was speaking about the mission and the commotion that was happening, Kogeki decided to do something different. He see Platina flying sheganigans, and decided to approach the place of commotion too. Using his scarf, he blend himself in the shadows while the others was distracted, and decided to approach the place of commotion Platin go.

In part because he is curious what is happening and also because to make sure his skills is not rusty. And because he sometimes like to startle some people with his ninja skills. And also show a bit his stealth skills.

Action: Stealth approach in the place where the commotion is happening with Platina and Kee.

Oh well, if both Platina and Kogeki are going to check out that commotion further down the beach without saying a word, then Ziggy Kee opts to stay where he is alongside Espeon and Umbreon. He sighs a little as he watches them leave, his curiosity nabbing him, but 1. he does not want to let the two Eeveelutions stay there by themselves as it'd be rude in his view, and 2. he's sure whatever the commotion is, Platina and Kogeki can handle it + tell him later what's been the matter!~
