[Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

Hmm....Quite honestly, I think we should take Arrowkunda. Such ally could be useful to cover up some of the player type weakness and help fight dangerous foes. And with combination of Kogeki Quick Attack and maybe Arrowkunda Aqua Jet, we will have two members with access to priority moves (and Aqua Jet is STAB who is always awesome).

If possible I think we should try to convince to have both to join us, since with 3 party members out of our group, we need to have more allies. And a member with spread moves is also awesome.

(...) So what's my verdict on this? If we just want a strong Water type, go with Arrowkunda, since they are much easier to use and invest in over Horsea on the whole. If we want more Spread Move users and a potential late-game powerhouse in the form of Kingdra, however, then we should go with Horsea and make it our plan to include it in our group at all times or send it out constantly on missions/training tasks to start the XP process. I personally lean towards Arrowkunda since we already got Kee (and eventually Platina later) for Spread Damage. But that's just my thougths - what are yours mates?

I'm definitely for Arrokuda, both for the reasons you mentioned and for having a potentially strong team member from the start onward instead of having to invest quite a lot into making them a strong team member like it'd be the ase with Horsea. Horsea and, if we're lucky enough, Kingdra would for sure come in handy later in-game; but that late-game aspect is what bothers me somewhat: We're still at the relative beginning of the campaign and our journey, and I would like to have some team member/s that are (relatively) strong and useful from the beginning - which Arrokuda appears to be even if they're according to Poliwhirl 'a young one'.

The only? problem I'm seeing is that we probably cannot include Arrokuda to every venture into a Mystery Dungeon, they very likely cannot travel on land, duh.

Just to weigh in on that whole thing, Barraskewda is like Daikatuna but even frailer, even faster and hits even harder. Definitely worth it over Kingdra in my opinion.

Alright, guess the decision is unanimous for lil Arrowkunda! I'll get to it ASAP then - though I won't be trying to convince ALL of the Poliwhirl gang to join. I'm not going to risk a fight or losing out on a free new party member because we're greedy for more, ya know?

Lol.  Shattered Earth has been going pretty well too, though we've not yet updated the thread here on the forums in awhile to match the actual progress.

As for Horizon: Forbidden West, I've actually taken a short break from it so I don't burn myself out on wandering through its large, open world.  Been playing through some other stuff recently.
