Dragon mentioned something about pseudos lowering fortune of a party member which was only implemented after mine was already calculated. With Lani this would lower mine by 1 too right? (covering the spiky for example)

Most Pseudos completely conceal/‘cover’ the Fortune Cost of one Mon of your choice while the Pseudo in the Party, while some do not and others only partially. Your Pseudo can completely cover the cost of one of your Mons, while ‘ Erin’s ‘ does not conceal ( rather against what Zephy is about, if you know…). This means you could have up to 3 Pseudos + Mons in your Party that ‘negate’ the costs of the other half, but be aware that more strong/unique Mons on your team the more Sutalor is going to throw at you mates…

Ah ok, thanks for confirmation. So if I choose the spiky to be concealed my fortune goes down by one. I'll do that when possible.

@Dragonstrike : Right, I got a decision for you now, as I had time to think about how things ended with the Distant Bayhama Shores

- You can go straight to the Embassy like you requested, but doing so will count as an Encounter and have you skip the Planned Group Meeting. Your PC is a bit of a lone ranger, so this makes sense, but you also had them express interest in meeting with those other SOULs, so them not beeling towards them after confirm you are fine and well with the Professor is also a bit non-sense.
- Instead of going to the embassy, you'll end up at the group meeting somehow . This gets everyone together so that they can do proper reveals, as well as allowing you to pair off of split up entirely as you want, without delay.

@Iron : It's been a few days since I posted, so I'll be moving on to the group meeting if everyone else finishes up with their Encounters before you can get to yours. I don't want to do so, but I don't want the pacing to tank this early on.

I also said Seddi was paying attention to the feelings the gemstone was giving off earlier, and he didn't tell the Prof when he would arrive, so a quick detour sounds fine to me.  Seddi just didn't have any other direction yet besides 'head towards the embassy for now' because none had been given.

Apologies, could have specified that in the game thread.

Edit: have edited the post to allow for the possibility of asking Dodger to take a detour.

...You know, I was expecting the Florge Fight to be a grueling Stall fest. Not....THAT. Congrates, @Redstone , you managed to outdo Dragonstrike in sheer mind bending luck . Now excuse me while I continue to bury my hands into my hands and go mad with laughter at things going THIS hard already...

Welp.  That happened.  Poor symbiotic flower, abandoned by both her patron and her luck Sad

I didn't know that my patron gave my enemies a luck debuff but I'll take it.
You can probably imagine my face reading that for the first time. The carnage

That's the 'funny' part - she didn't. She's just as taken aback by THAT happening....though She'd never admit it. Nope, that was all Miss Fortunate deciding to torture Totem Florge...she's a cruel one, no matter how much of a fun fairweather friend she is when she's on your side.

*Shrugs* Nothing is stopping you from having Mercy on Florge, either catching them and/or putting out the fire with Scald (they're already Burnt, so paradoxically it'd put her out no problem - still hurt tho) and leaving, giving your Patron the Cutieflie as the Offering instead. The Patron would be far more impressed and generous with getting Florges, but they never specified a particular Target. It's also the fairly cruel option, but...well, what do you owe to a Florge anyway? That, and a happier/more satisfied Patron, the more leeway and Boons you get too... no easy option unless you want your PC to go down amorality path. In which case, they'd become the Ven of the campaign - which is...well! We'd have to wait and see, eh?
