@Lord Windos Agreed with both of you! I not interested anyway to face the Malefic Monstrum in day 1 too! Lets go slowy and safe to get stronger, both by getting tons of healing items, battle gear, and try to minimaze the damage the battle will get. Time to go min maxed in our chances of survive.
Just a question though mate, how much money do we have? I also gonna check a few things in my char sheet just to make sure everything is O-kay!
As a Tier 1 PC, your Start out with $25000 Poke! I suggest you save it for now, pending what Vernon and anyone else Dig up at the Survival and Wildlife Exploration Center - or you can spend it to build a stockpile of Healing Items ASAP or try to hunt around for someone willing to Sell Powerful Pokemon for a semi-affordable price! As a person of Settler/Native Descent (I never did get any clarity on your exact Origin, now that I think about it, but at least I know half of it ;-p ) you're also not going to be treated like some 'Rissy Tourist' , so you got better options and more reliability in chasing down leads in general!

Excelent! Alright, I will save for now. Also, yeah, she is a native in the region, despite what happens in her backstory, I think I didnt said, but I think its okay now.
Just need to double check what levels each pokemon is to put in my char sheet, and the initiative modifier from since I forgot to put in their sheets.

While I agree they would do MUCH better with more time to develop Alchemic Items and Train their Mons/Get More Powerful Ones on their Team to draw Special Power from, they are perfectly capable of tussling with the GWH now with two other Party Members! Liable to get maimed something FIERCE without Morgana backing them up, but it is still doable!
You're probably right, but I also haven't had the opportunity yet to use of Bernhard's Pokemon yet (which is fine to me and understabdable given how the so-far Encounters of his went) or gather experience in using rhen against wild Pokemon (not Trainer Battles, as Bern looks down on these/he's not a Trainer), so I'd rather do that for a good amount of time until I'd be confident on his skills/abilities/powers. Plus, if he'd die, I'd hace to suffer the consequences of that for the WHOLE rest of the campaign, when I haven't even gotten the change to make good use of his alchemistic skills or Zephy aside from the initiate prolologue (^v^; )

Not to worry Phantom, I'd need to prepare as well if we were to take on this super boss. Seddi has a few tricks, but even he knows that he can't fight a Malefic Monstrum on short notice and win. He's here to research these creatures, but he doesn't have a death wish.
Now, if he had sufficient help and some prep time? Maybe. Question here is if those with sufficient power and experience available are willing to give him Helping Hands later.
Ngl, getting something equivalent to a better Master Ball or free high impact surprises sounds extremely tempting when you're trying to research dangerous wildlife.

You in particular have an incentive to rush to the Super Boss for various reasons, though that still gives you plenty of time to prepare / write up a last Will and Testament !
He he he...!
The Star Unity Ball is basically a Discount Master Ball - I won't go into too much details about how PDed out the wazoo a M.B. is, but suffice to say if you Throw it at something, anything, it will be Capture Without Fail, and you have Absolute Control over It in Every Way. That, and you're not factoring in Pokemon can still make Evasion Attempts against Capture if they feel like it, or that the sort of Mons you'd want to use that bad boy on are the kind that still incur significant Disobedient Interactions and are extremely Willful no matter how Happy and Loyal they are. Or Running away after getting a wigged out by the potency of the SUB - sometimes Mons get freaked out by powerful Bonding Effects like that!
I wouldn't underestimate Recycle EX either - the Ability to get duplicate ANYTHING at least once with Man Made Single Use Items and have what amounts to a 'Fix It!' Button for 1-2 Pokemon is increadibly useful. Stuff like Max Revives or Full Restores getting dupped is just the tip of the iceburg, though a very fine one. Getting a Super Gun is also pretty great too, if you want hardware that makes your PC better in an actual Fight, especially against future Lethal Threats or Super Bosses - the fact you get it early too means it can also be used in the Super Boss Fight, if you REALLY want to make sure you're well equipped to handle the beastie.

Thank you. Thank you greatly so Dragon, as your re-affirmation of not wanting to take on the MM right away does ease my mind alot. And yes, I do have to agree that the rewards are...a quite temptation: High risk, high reward, after all.
Concering helping Seddi on fighting it: Bernhard will indeed help, if approached in a polite and honest way by him (bonus points if you butter him up with flattery or a reward). Yes he's a textbook-example of a lone wolf, but he's not beyond giving aid to those in need when it's possible for him.

Good to hear Bernhard will be willing to help.
Yeah, I do have a secondary incentive to rush slightly, Windos.
So fair warning y'all. If we're gonna attempt to fight this thing and protect Bayahama from more widespread destruction, we should do it before the end of Day 7 ideally.

Omph....hopefully my teasing hasn't put you off, mate. Sometimes my odd sense of humor gets the better of me, he he he...

It's fine. I was gonna talk about the specifics more IC, but talking about the relevant time limit here OOC is fine. Probably for the best too.
