The Pokemon crawls from the mud and grabs one berry in its mouth, then tucks the other under its wing. Then it leaps up into some low nearby branches to chew.
As it eats, he can see that it chews with a beaklike mouth. The crest is red with gold nubs on it, and it has more feathers from its eyes. It has a stubby green tail with a red fan on it, too, and short claws. Its entire body is covered in feathers like leaves.

Ventus smiled as the strange green bird snake accept his offering, watching as it savored the Oran Berry and scanning its every physical feature into his memory for latter review (Just in case he doesn't get to capture it), before flicking his wrist and producing another from....somewhere, and used his other hand to reach into his satchel to pull out a nice and juicy Apple. This time, however, he opted to keep both of them in his hand, and gave the Pokémon a welcoming/beconning look, before saying to it: "Well, I'm heartened to see that all is forgiven then! Still, I find myself rather curious about you, since I have never encounter nor seen an individual of your species before, and as a Researcher that is impressive in of itself. Tell me, if I promise to provide you with all the substenance you want and plenty of attention and care, would you be willing to travel with me on my journey through Cheshire? You would have ample protection and provisions as a member of my family, and we would get the chance to learn more about one another; a win win scenario in my opinion. What do you say?"

Order: Attempt to close the deal with more bribery and an open offer. If it refuses and tries to escape, Apsis will Wrapp it and Ice Fang it until its Fainted. If it refuses but makes no moves to leave, then I have one last trick under my sleeve....

It controls the water around it, riding along on waves of its own making, corrupting the already disgusting water of the swamp!

Nathan runs up and sinks a bolt of purple energy into it just before Heart is subsumed.

The researcher doesn't seem too disappointed by the lack of response, though internally he's frowning to himself-'I though that offer would go over well for it, but the green bird seems to be a tough customer to sell too...-, and he racked his brain for something else to persuade when a thought struck him that almost caused him to grimace. He didn't like the thought of having to rely on him for aid in this matter, however indirect it might be, but if Berries and Apples alone were not enough to tempt the strange creature to his side, what about some a little....sweeter? "Hmm....well, if these offerings are not enough to convince you to join me, would it change your mind at all that I have a companion with Combee that can produce an almost limitless supply of Honey, given enough time? I'm sure he would be more than happy to share it with you if you would come along with me, since he has plenty of the stuff and hardly uses it to my knowledge. I also have more than Oran Berries on hand if that would help you decision making in any manner too. How about it?"

Order: Try to persuade it to come allow with the additional promise of Honey from Nathan and more berries from Ventus. If THAT does not work at all, then Apsis is just going to straight up Wrap it up and go to town on it with 2 Ice Fangs per round until its Frozen/Fainted, and then Apsis will Glare it so that it has the minimum number of Dice to resist as possible. Let's shake it!

Ventus almost raised an eyebrow at the slightly Draconi/Lordly behavior the serpentbird was now displaying, but he shrugged it off and decided to rummage through his satchel to see if he had some of that delicious golden substance on hand. Turn out, he did have a bottle of it, hidden away deep within and out of immediate sight, so the researcher promptly took it out and display it to the strange Pokémon, before offering it to them, saying: "You ask, and you shall receive. Their is much more of this for you if you come along with me, and a myriad variety of delicious food we can prepare besides Honey....."
