(5)(3)(5)(5)(1)(3)
(3)(3)(4)(3)(1)
(5)(3)(2)(6) Three hits!
(2)+2 , (3) +2 , (6) +2 Butterfree takes 7 dmg! 1/8hp -3 pain.
Poisonpowder 1 on Gargryph
Not enough dice! "Oh no! Butterfree, you're in big trouble now!"
Arbok is already moving to use a Dark-type move on the ghostly sentinel.
Crunch 1 on Golett - just two actions thanks to paralysis
(4)(2)(2)(5)
(5)(1) Golett takes 2 dmg 5/7hp -1 pain
CD: (2)
Substitute 1
(3)(4)(2)(1) (Fight and Stealth don't go up, but Dex does, so you should really only use 4 actions this round given Pain.)
Gargryph takes 2 dmg and hides behind a Substitute
"You sure have a lot of rare Pokemon, Heart! That's something I'd like to work on for myself."
Confusion 2
(4)(2)
(1) No damage for the Substitute. Gargryph's Substitute is a perfect exemplar, since the actual Pokemon doesn't move much ever.
Crunch 2
(1)(1)(4) The Snake Eyes strike again!
Traits seems to include Attributes/their counterpart, Skills, and Specialties. Gargryph has a boost to Str, Dex, Defense, and Insight (I'm cool with that ruling, since Insight is akin to Special in many ways.)

That doesn't remain unnoticed by Shiva, especially how bulky Forretress does get knocked across the place; and she immediately gets the feeling of having overdone things a little. Heart thanks the trainer. "Thank you my friend. Its kinda my job to find and befriend as many types of Pokemon. Both rare and common. I a Pokemon Rare Collector. I have travel for a long travel in many regions in my life: From the beautiful buildings of Kalos to the deserts of Hoen to find the mysterious Mirage Tower. From the forests of Johto to dangerous caverns of Mt. Sentry. I have meet many types of Pokemon. Some unique and rare!"
"And most of all, I discovered at least a bit what kind of strength the Earthpower is capable. Earthpower is the greatest source of power to all Pokemon kind. Even for a few humans. From the lowest Pokemon, to the greatest. From the weakest move like a Ratatat Bite, to the most powerful as a Gyarados Hyper Beam. Its a power it is around us..."
"I will give a advice from someone who is in this journey for a long time: Sometimes is cool make your own journey alone. But it is nothing compared as make a journey with companions or even friends. You may sometimes fight against them and even say goodbye when they journey or yours end, but the memories you most hold dear is what truly matters. Someone only truly dies when that memory is forgot. Never forget that."
With that said Heart talk once again. "Heh, I sorry. I get myself babbling myself about this. I beg your pardon." Heart then talk again to his Gargoyle Pokemon. "Gargryph, you have doing a amazing job until now. If you want rest a bit I will let you return to the pokeball. Is your substitute stay here when you return to the pokeball?"
Mechanics: Ask if Gargryph want to rest and bring Typhon to the battlefield. And if the decoy stay on the field when return.

Yup! Shiva's battle with Zamboni, Round 4. Sun was present from Rounds 2-5, summoned by Nightshade. Nightshade was not on the battlefield during Round 4, however, but Sunny Day persisted. In addition, the book does not say the effects of Weather summoning moves end when their user leaves the battlefield.
Gallade analyzes the situation...he's slower than this Furret. And Furret is holding a Silk Scarf...
Perfect. That means the ferret has to either predict what's going to happen, or attack blindly. Conditional evasions aren't going to work. Hypnosis and Dream Eater aren't common moves on Gallade, either, given how easy it is to evolve Kirlia into Gallade before it ever has a chance to learn them. Tanuki might be caught off guard here.
"Give 'em what for, Gallade!" 3 Actions, with conditional orders for actions 2 and 3 based on if Furret is asleep or not.
Hypnosis 1 (burning another Will Point to add a success!)
Acc: 11 base - 4 Acc - 3 Actions + Will = 4 D6 + 1 success!
Effect: Inflicts Sleep if it hits!
Note: Sucker Punch and Me First fail if they attempt to out priority a non-attacking move.
Dream Eater 2 and (maybe) 3!
Acc: 11 base - 4/5 = 7/6 D6
Dmg: 4 + 5 + STAB + CP - 3 = 8 D6
Effect: Restores HP equal to half the damage dealt!
Rock Smash 2 and/or 3
Acc: 11 - 4/5 = 7/6
Dmg: 4 + 4 + STAB - 3 + SE = 6 D6 + 1 Damage
Effect: -1 Defense (5)

+1 XP for spreading the Earthpower!
"Don't apologize. Even we young trainers know there's more to being a trainer than Pokeballs and moves. I could feel it from the first moment I looked in another trainer's eyes."
I meant to give +1 Loyalty to Gargryph before that fight started, and with that in mind, he'd be happy to stay out.
If Heart wants to switch, that would be fine but the Substitute will not protect Typhon.

"Zigzagoon." Zigzagoon approaches, bringing sleepytime herbs for Furret. Then he retreats to the top of Tanuki's head.
Tanuki has another Pokeball ready. "My next Pokemon can be a bit surprising, so ready yourself!"

Gothy gets recalled as swiftly as possible into the safety of her painted Premier Ball, the Ball gets hugged a little and the inhabitant of it receives some whispered words of praise only audible/senseable for her before packing it away; as coy and shy Shiva may be she doesn't seem to mind too much showing how she values her own Pokemon in front of people. At least, she feels like Terra wouldn't laugh at her for doing so ._.
Tropius himself doesn't react too much to the fierce glare of Basteele nor that big bulky Fighting Type chuckling, he just keeps loooking down at them from above as if to silently mock the former that the nasty spikes do nothing to him, hah!
(…)
She grows meek again and shuffles her feef again upon being critizided for the usage, but knows that Terra does only mean it well. She doesn't speak up before he finished, and closes her eyes in thought before she faces him again - it was true, he only said these things because he was concerned for her. "I'll be careful. I am careful, yes - appreciated that you're concerned for....eh...me? Thank you... I, well, thought this battle is important enough to justify the usage, and look around - there's currently none who could scold me, any wild Pokemon around very likely don't care. You are...a member of our group since yeserday, so you deserve knowing about it... As long as you won't go shouting from rooftops about Rock Smash either we'll be on the safe side, no worries! Alright?" *encouraging shy smile displaying that things were okay all while searching for the Ball containing her Pokemon to replace Gothy*
(…)
Shiva herself meanwhile can't really help but to muster that Hariyama of Terra and throw glances between them both, eventually she decided that it'd be safe to speak out what she suspects. "Something seems weird about your Hariyama, doesn't it...? It's...twitching as if being hindered in moving freely, but this does seemingly only increase his power. Humm.... That's Guts Ability, isn't it? "
The rugged wander isn't Insightful enough to discreen that Shiva is sympathetic to the ardor of her Pokémon, but he CAN tell that she's bothered by them Fainting, causing him to frown in concern yet again.
"Shiva, are you okay? Is something.....troubling you about or battle....?"
(…)
"*Stares at her, before nodding his head* Good, and you are welcome. ….Yes, I know, like I said. …*Smiles* Thank you for the trust, Shiva. You really are a big hearted person. *Nods his head* Won't do that, I promise."
(…)
For a moment the simple monk simply raised an eyebrow at her guess, before nodding his head once with a slight smile.
"Yes, you are right. I Paralyzed him before the battle, so he could start out stronger right away. Good job finding that out, Shiva."

In contrast, Terra is mostly non-plussed about RS knocking his bombshell Bug back, as he is more concerned/interested in the HM Move being used itself in this battle. Because of that, he was completely taken off guard when the fair lady began to profusely apologize to him for using the Move, causing him to look both perplexed and a little bit bashful as he looked away from her slightly and rubbed the back of his head.
".....No need to be sorry, Shiva. In battles, you do what you can to win them, so using Rock Smash is okay. My Pokémon and I are.....impressed by it too, so we are happy you show it to us. *Pauses* ...Basteele is fine too. She's tough and Sturdy, and doesn't mind taking a beating, so don't worry about it.
(…)
Delphox's spectacular debut and the passionate Loyalty he display for his master caused Terra's eyes to widen slightly, before giving the fire fox a smile and respectful nod of his head. Seeing such a display cinches if for the herculean man: Shiva is truly a loving and dedicated Trainer toward her Pokémon, if she could inspire such strong feelings and intense dedication....
Shiranui can immediately tell that his new opponent is a Psychic type of some sort, and starts getting pumped up yet again for this battle! Now he was fighting against TWO types he was at a disadvantage at, so this would be an EXCELLENT challenge for him, oh yeah! Basteele, however....well, she was EXTREMELY displeased when their arrival, as she absolutely DESPISED Fire types with all her heart and SOUL. She glared at them with such force that you'd think she was using the Move, and readied herself to destroy her opponent. They. Will. Be. Snuffed. OUT!

"Awww, come here Furret!" Tanuki bundles up Furret and starts whispering new dreams into her head, and stroking her gently.

"Zigzagoon." Zigzagoon approaches, bringing sleepytime herbs for Furret. Then he retreats to the top of Tanuki's head.
Tanuki has another Pokeball ready. "My next Pokemon can be a bit surprising, so ready yourself!"
Nathan smiles. "Good attempt with the Fury Swipes. Still got a lot of fight left in us, though! Ready to get back in there, Forthright? Let's take advantage of your weather while it's still up. Not every day you get to summon and play in a Sandstorm indoors, right?"
Gallade returns to Nathan's side and Forthright's back on the battlefield. Still a Rock type, and now with a huge 5 Defense! 2 Rounds of Sandstorm remain!
