"To be honest, my dear, I only took this call to let you know I'm alright. I need to settle down to my research for the next few days or so - I'm at a very important stage in it. I won't be available to talk much at all. It's just that it was important to hear your voice again as I'm settling in. I will talk to you then, I promise! Goodbye for now."

He sounds thankful that you're letting him know Raphael is OK and that everything is going well, though it's only been a short time in his absence.

(We decided it would be better to leave Ventus' perspective for a time and concentrate 100% on Terra).

(That's fine. I just wished to get into contact with Ven once again, couldn't resist >.<; )

Shiva seems to be a little taken aback by Ventus being so scarce, but she quickly puts on a smile again that he of course couldn't see (but he'd notice that she's speaking in a delighted tone). "...Oh, then, ehm... Then I won't bother you for long, Ven! I just, well... longed to hear your voice again, you know. You have to tell me once what you're working on now, alright? I'd love to hear! T...take good care of yourself and make sure to eat and sleep enough among your research. .... Yes, I WILL be fine, don't worry too much for me. .... Yes, bye for now."

She hungs up and holds cell close to her heart (now at a slightly increased heartrate) as she rolls over to her side of the bed with a jolly smile gracing her. That simple call did a lot to make her feel better, soon Cottonee and Raphael are pulled into fond cuddle session. They enjoy the shared affection and attention. <3

(I'm sorry for that :C But after Nathan has blatantly hurt her feelings by not joining her table although she was friendly and decided to pry why Raphael's with her when she gave clear signs of not wishing to speak about that, you please shouldn't begrudge me for taking a safety measure to prevent such a thing from happening again.)

That was part of the arrangement, as he wants to get a basic grasp on how he might be able to go about tutoring moves himself (and I don't want to impose on Shiva/Phantom all the time when I/Nathan need a move tutored).

(That's totally fine, I'd still like to go by the rule of not more than 2 points in Move Tutoring Speciality on another player chara.)

Shiva does gladly let Nathan watch how she's tutoring, although it feels weird for her to have someone so interested in something she does. She emphasizes that everyone probably tutors differently and one has to experiment a little to find the way that works best for oneself and the Pokemon in question. Additionally she gives him the same advices she already gave Ventus about Tutoring, found here.

She's actually okay with heading back to the Center together if he is as well and even suggests that, but from how she gazes up to the sky with a dreamy expression she seems to prefer doing so in calm and peaceful silence with the Pokemon involved in the Training and Tutroing tagging along.

~~Onwards to the next Day then~~

This night, Shiva would have a most curious dream that she'll remember upon waking up, it's not a lucid one though. Thinking about it several times through the day, she'll eventually come to the conslusion that it's due to her subconscious mind processing the worried anticipitation she holds for the Main Event of this day of hers.

Flashing awake all of a sudden, that 'physical' feeling must have come from Vaporeon who STARED at her with curious eyes and her mermaid tail wagging in excitement, from the look of it she just took a heartfelt leap directly onto her Master's chest and stomach while she was still snoozing.

It was WAY too early in the morning, still feeling tired Shiva opted to stroke her waterly Eeveelution's cheek as a greeting. "Well, good morning, dear one... You're heavy, please get down of me. What's wrong that you're giving me such an eager look, is your Egg close to hatching already?" Vapreon shook her head, and took Shiva's hand between her teeth in response - a little reluctant, Shiva allowed herself to be dragged to out of bed and to the window by Vaporeon. 'Master, LOOK!!!' she seems to say.

Shiva couldn't see anything special apart from the rain and frowned a little in confusion. A begging chirp from Vaporeon made her understand though: "O.... Oh.... Well, OF COURSE you can play a little in the rain! Let me just.... eh.... get dressed properly and stuff...."

~~In the Lobby of the Center~~

With Vapreon almost wiggling of excitment beside her, Shiva picks up the Pokemon of hers who fainted yesterday with a delighted thankyou to Nurse Joy, places them onto a Box of Bill's PC and moves on to send Harylect to Heart/@Spiritmon, as agreed. He comes with a held paper note that said 'Here you go Heart, take good care of him.'

I'll just auto-add the 2000$ for Harylect then. Stats of the bug are here: http://pokemonuranium.co/forum/showthrea...t#pid45255
He doesn't hold the Charcoal though as I might need it today depending on the situation.

If Terra/@Lord Windos as the early bird is already around, she lets him know that she'll be roaming in Corsage Port today; in case anything happens she'll give a shout.

Grabbing breakfast from the cafeteria then (not much, toast and coffee do the trick) Shiva heads outdoors on Vaporeon's request, and quickly finds a bus stop nearby where she can enjoy breakfast while being protected by the rain. Vaporeon and Azu however were overjoyed and played in the rain like there's no tomorrow, fetching one another and jumping into puddles to heart's content. Azu even showed what Shiva has promised to Vaporeon upon convincing her to join: How she can make more rain fall down on them just by taking some dance steps! Vaporeon eagerly copied the moves Azu made but it didn't work on her as she doesn't know Rain Dance - booh! (This isn NO Training Session, just some bonding between the Water Types and Vaporeon-Shiva. Takes roughly 15minutes.)

Soon however, play time ends and Shiva asks them to return to their Ball now; Azu and Vaporeon object a little but eventually agree. In return how these two, Helios comes out - Carefully, Shiva takes the Alakazam's hand into hers and opts him to do the same in order to teleport:

"We'll be going to Corsage Port, Helios... You know this place. A haven city similar like my hometown, but with a much different feeling. We battled there, I fainted due to overstressing myself, you caught me up in my fall when you were stll an Abra. Concentrate, concentrate.... Bring us to this place please."

Assuming everything works, Shiva reappears in front of the Pokemon Center in Corsage Port! How's the general feeling in this city, has anything changed since the last time the group was there, and most importantly - which building looks like it was the local Gym and does something answer upon her shyly knocking on the door and mentioning that she's there for a Gym Battle?

It's not close to hatching at all. Still feels like a solid mass, no movement inside. It will probably take many days, as Beldum has a reputation for being slow to hatch.

Larvesta will definitely help a lot. There are also high-tech incubators available that can speed up hatching ($2250 for the Non-Almanac version). And walking around with the Egg in your party helps.

"Nathan Warren? Professor Laurelin, at the Creshire Museum. Hi. Got a minute? We've reviewed your application for our internship, and the secretary told me you were interested in getting some fossils revived. The bad news is, I already have a full crop of academic interns for the Spring season. I can hire you in the summer, but not right now. The good news is, there are some field research tasks I need performed, but none of my current interns have Pokemon strong enough to make them worthwhile. If you come to my office, I'll tell you about the tasks you can do in return for fossil revivification. How about it?"

Well, it's most likely after encounter 1, then...so the stuff that happens before that is:

- Nathan's call to his mom.  Nothing special, probably.  Just making sure to keep in touch, still.  And apologizing for missing her last few messages because he was busy.

- A training session for Rhea, Forthright, and Carvanha in the rain!  For Rhea, Nathan's helping her out with basic care of the little ones again (mostly Carvanha).  Forthright's playing in the rain, but she eventually gets bored of it and wants to try changing it to a different weather (not a Sandstorm, though).  No success this time, but she feels like she should be able to, for some reason...maybe she's missing something important...and Carvanha is doing what she does best!  Om nom nom!  Biting stuff!  Hence why Nathan needs to help Rhea out...(2 exp for all?)

-------------------

Well, it's not quite what Nathan expected from the call, but I guess that works.  "I'll be right on over.  See ya in a few."

Off we go to meet the history and biology professor!

2Xp to each Pokemon.

Laurelin is making crayon rubbings of various fossils when Nathan arrives. "Ah, hello, Nathan! How many badges do you have now, tell me right away!"

"Four, excellent. That will be more than enough. And you look...fast. I want you to be aware these assignments are too dangerous for someone without a few badges, but I think they'll be perfectly safe for a trainer like you. One assignment complete = one fossil revived. There's no hurry on these quests, so you can fulfill them as you travel, or right away if you want to. And feel free to bring one my interns with you, or whoever."

Professor Laurelin's Quests

Unown Quest
Go to Ancestor Cave in the base of the Great Divide, an hour north of Cress, and catch five different examples of the undersized Unown there. I need them for my research, because traces of their psychic power appear in a lot of fossils. There are also some cool murals there that might be of interest.
Dangers: Solosis-line, Meowth, Eeveelutions, Rock types, Dittos, Unown
Rewards: five Great Balls, 1 Fossil Revivification

Primal Bulbasaur
People are saying they're seeing a weird Bulbasaur on the western slopes of Mt. Sentry. You'll need a Pokemon that's good at climbing. Anyway, the Bulbasaur's rocky appearance suggests it may be Primal or Delta or something. Or a throwback. Bring it to me unfainted.
Dangers: Rock types, terrain
Rewards: Three Ultra Balls, 1 Fossil Revivification, 1 Mallorn-raised Bulbasaur.

Oversized Pokemon
I can't even tell you about this one until you swear to secrecy, and you must handle it solo. It's nothing illegal though.

Corsage Port has changed. It's Raining here too, and extremely gloomy, and everyone seems grumpy about it. BUT the gloominess does not feel physically present. It's easy to remain cheerful despite the others. People are actually selling some cheerful things, like colorful umbrella hats and a funny little mechanized toy that looks like a boat with a face attached to an iceberg.

Another difference is a big ship with a golden prow, being loaded up with Pokeballs in glass cases framed with steel. It's named "The Pacific Crester."

The Gym is not advertised, so she needs the help of a passing cop or something. But it's a big white mansion with a widow's walk facing the sea. A dark figure up there in the rain disappears when Shiva approaches the house, and the heavy wooden door to the Gym opens by itself upon the first knock. The portal leads to a very dim hallway.

When Heart user the PC he have see the little eletric bug there with Shiva note. Heart smile and send her the promise money. He also take some time to see the information from the little bug pokemon. Heart reange his party with this combination: Rose, Gustav, Natu (to use as a Teleport), Gargryph, Percival and Iron (Alola Geodude). Natu was out of the pokeball ready to use the Teleportation. But before anything, Heart bring Alola Geodude out of the pokeball. He decided to talk with the little Geodude. "Hey Iron. How are you? We gonna go to face the Gym Leader of the Ice-type, and your help will be very much important. But I want to clarify something: When we face Zamboni, dont even dare in using Lethal moves or attack the pokemons of Zamboni when they are already fainted. Director North warn me about your violent tendecies to attack fainted pokemon. So I want to beg you: Please, PLEASE! Hold your violence insticts okay? I dont want to such thing happen in your first Gym Battle okay? When your foe be fainted, leave that way. If you begin to act violent i gonna call you imediatly to the pokeball. Do I make myself clear?"

(Ohh, I hoped that Vaporeon would gain Happiness or such. Anyway, as longs as it's noted as bonding experience and she had her fun, it's all fine!)

Upon noticing that it's raining here as well, Shiva adjusts the hood of her Ranger's Cloak a little and recalled Helios into the safety of his Ball. After a quick rearranging of her party on Bill's PC within the Center, she roams the town a little and ended up at masion that gave her chills running over her whole body simply from standing in front of it. But she's very relieved that the dwelling gloomyness isn't so....tangible anymore.
'Mechanized toys looking like a boat with a face attached to an iceberg'.... [Image: latest?cb=20160816181817] ? These catch her interest, and she chuckles a bit at the thought that these thingies look like a Pokemon.

An encouraging coo from Raphael later, she steps through the wooden door and into the dim hallway of the presumed Gym. A white light of a Pokemon being summoned breaks the darkness and silence, with Delphox enlightening the way with his wand Shiva follows the hallway in worried anticipitation - The thought that she can make it as well as the dream give her the strength to march on.

Order: Finish things up with the Kimono Girls, and then get Nathan's assistance to Teleport to Stair to obtain Rilou for $1200 Poke! If he agrees, then just automate the Teleport and picking up of the young aura fighter!

Yup, Nathan would have Terra's phone number by now.  I'll assume this text would arrive before Nathan goes to meet Laurelin.

Terra gets a reply back rather quickly.

Sure.  Meet ya there.

Luckily for Terra, Gallade can Teleport them straight to the Shelter since he's been there enough times and it's a rather safe place to Teleport to.  Usually.  And Gallade can Teleport Terra back when he's done, too.

Though before Terra goes, Nathan does ask Terra, "...so, pardon me for asking, but...do you know what a Riolu is?"  Nathan would be happy to explain real quick if Terra doesn't, of course.

"I can definitely keep a secret, professor.  Promise."

So, what's up with that third one?

The simple monk is rather grateful for boy and his knight's assistance, smiling and bowing to both of them in turn to express it so.

"Thank you very much for helping me, Nathan and Gallade. Won't take me long to get Rilou, so I will be back soon. (…) *Nods* Yes. Looked up its.....species on my Pokedex yesterday. Walking, Fighting dog, with the ability to use its inner ki to sense others feelings and use it....directly. Very smart, strong, Loyal, and honorable too. Evolves into a Lucario, which are like Rilou, only better. Hm...good doggies, just like Melly. *Nods* Want to get them quickly before someone else, so see you later, Nathan. Have a good day."

Saying this, Terra waves them good-bye, before he goes over to his PC to deposit his Duskull to make room for Gallade, then exits the Center with the courteous paladin. He turns toward them, and plainly says: "Take me to the Shelter, or close to it, please Gallade."

A quick Teleport, and the mountain of a man arrives at the home for wayward and Disobedient Pokémon, and without hardly a moment's pause he marches right in and to the receptionist, crossing his arms and quietly (and perhaps imposingly) staring at them.

"I would like to adopt Rilou. My friend Heart told me about them yesterday, and I want to make them a partner of mine. Is that okay?"

When the matter of costs come up, he'll just wordlessly hand over the specified amount (which is $1200 Poke, if I recall correctly), and waits to be escorted to them in order to meet the aura user. All of this done in a simple, blunt, and straight to the point manner. When Terra wants to get something done, he makes no bones about it in the slightest way, unless given due reason!

Order: Teleport to the Shelter and adopt Rilou for the agreed price! He'll want to see them and greet them in person/inform them he's their new master (That'll be a small scene in of itself!), but he won't do the Test of Mettle at the Shelter, due to knowing from experience that most people don't look positively on humans fighting/training with Pokemon directly.

He'll then visit the Fountain with Lovely and have them add their water to it, as well as get their picture taken. I'd also like a small reaction scene to him letting out a Milotic to do those things, since that is a spectacle I'd enjoy reading, but I won't demand you do that if you rather focus on other stuff (Like those Gym Battles). Let's welcome the blue doggie into Terra's team, before enjoying some waterworks, shall we?
