I've always wondered if they could be taught to produce art. You doubtless know that in the time of King SARIMANOK knights were often artists as well. Poets, calligraphers, landscape painters, martial performers."
"To the point where those of them that were fortunate to have Kirlia would especially emphasize retaining their passion for dance even after evolving them into Gallade." Nathan chuckles. "They say dancing is a form of art, too, and who am I to say it isn't? The whole reason I happen to have one of my rarest pokemon is because Gallade...well, he was still a Kirlia at the time, but he's still the same at heart even as a Gallade...finds Performing fun, just like her. Of course, she's got a particular talent for it that Gallade doesn't, but they get along really well."
"This Performing Pokemon does sound interesting. Please bring her to me when you come back! Or Oscar can let you use his PC."

...then Nathan realizes that Morgusi just said that Oscar has a PC in his home. He looks at his uncle curiously, mildly surprised.
"...you have a PC with access to the Pokemon Storage System?" That's certainly not something that's commonplace!

"A Meowstic. Very good. That is a good trade for a Sylveon." Morgusi whispers to Oscar, who comes back in a moment with one of the ceramic figurines. It's a Meowstic! Its legs have been carved, exposing the unglazed porcelain.
"You see, Oscar? You see the flaw in this artist's work? Look at Shiva's Meowstic. Does it stand inanimate and upright like a human? No! It stands lightly on its paws, ready to strut, ready to adopt new stances in response to who is watching and who it senses with its psychic power. See the set of its ears, protective of secrets, but always looking for someone who can be trusted enough to share and show off. It's a cat! Though it stands on two legs it still has the attitude of Persian, Skitty, Liepard, Glameow. This sculptor doesn't see the truth."
Oscar: "Don't fret, Mr. Morgusi. Someday you'll discover a sculptor who can capture the essence of a Pokemon. Then we'll redecorate the whole house!"
Morgusi: "And Heart, what would you like?"
Heart thinks for a second. "Hmm, maybe a mini-statue of a Volcarona and a painted of a Alola Golem? Iron my Geodude and my Larvesta would both like very much." Heart bring both of those mons with him to show them.
"I cannot sculpt, more's the pity but I will make you an Alolan Geodude card if that is your wish."
"Thats good too. There is by chance a Card of Larvesta to?"

It's not unheard of for wealthy folks. Oscar looks a little uncomfortable. "Yes, I do. And yes, you're welcome to use it."

A-GEODUDE then.

Color Nathan both curious and a little impressed.
"That's very generous of you, thank you. I don't need to rearrange my party pokemon right now, though. Maybe in the future, but not right now. I appreciate the offer, though. Very much."
Well, does anyone have anything left to say to/ask of Keni Morgusi?

Shiva's not impressed by Uncle Oscar having a PC with a connection to Bill's PC, in fact she doesn't really react apart from an appreciating gaze for him. She friendlily denies when being asked whether she personally would like to use it, no need to rearrange her party now. It's no definite requirement but considered very optimal that Daycares specialized in Pokemon Breeding have one with a connection to the Storage System at their reception, and Shiva's family is wealthy if measured by the common standard.
Stated somewhere in a previous post that she is fine with moving onward then after Heart has chosen a Pokemon for the free commission, though I'll be off for the night then.

Mr. Morgusi bids you a fond goodbye, though you aren't sure why he should be so fond of you already.
Route 12 and 13 travel together for a time, just after the Route Gate.. It's still drizzling, though the rain has backed off enough that an umbrella or hat can protect you. At this eastern end, the route's bricks are often replaced with little murals or pieces of mural, or sometimes even just pretty glass bricks. Much like Cress City.
Quite a few of the bricks are missing, and Grass types sometimes grow up through them.
The Pokemon on this route are fairly tame. Tanuki's influence still shows in a preoponderance of Normal types, but the ones out here are usually derived from escapees several generations ago.
Oh yeah, Geodude is here again. He seems happy that his "friends" are traveling a Route once more!
You know Bill's house is just a few miles NW of here. Nathan knows that Route 12 goes up to Liverwort in that direction, passing over a low spur of the Great Divide. It is steep, but there are maintained campsites along the way, and a few famous tarns and streams with excellent fishing.
Route 13 to Teazel Valley is SW of this junction. That road passes under/through the Great Divide's spur, dropping elevation constantly to reach the lows of the valley.
West of the junction is a big cliff face with many huge iron cubes set into it. It wasn't there several years ago when Nathan last passed this way. It is apparently a private Almanac research station, very tightly secured. Barbed wire, alarms, fences, and the famous Almanac Braviary and Decidueye flying distantly overhead. (Both are etched on the back of Shiva's copy.) It's way outside of city limits.
It looks foreboding. But worst of all is Gallade's reaction. He stiffens and his emotions turn drastically inward. Pain flows through the empathic link between him to Nathan. Gallade leaps up on a boulder, narrows his eyes, and points a dramatic challenge at the research facility.
Route 12+13 East Encounters
1. Name: Sandshrew*
Notes: It's a skittish little guy. Looks ready to flee. Looks visibly different from a distance but you aren't sure what exactly is up with him.
Challenge: Very easy.
Cap: 1
Bid start: 3
2. Name: Miltank
Challenge: Moderate
Cap: 1 (2)
Bid start: 1
Notes: A wild Miltank atop a grassy hill. It's practicing its mooves up there.
3. Name: Tall Grass
Challenge: ???
Cap: 1 per patch, but there's plenty of patches.
Notes: You never know what you'll find!
4. Name: Invisible Pokemon*
Challenge: ??
Cap: 1 (2)
Bid start: 1
Notes: Whoever takes this encounter hears subtle crunching sounds coming from a nearby clump of boulders and trees.
5. Name: Pansage
Challenge: Very easy (no XP)
Cap: 1 (2)

Terra's Egg is very very close to hatching!
