Heart has found:
-an early compass, which is a glass sphere the size of his fist containing a magnet and amber housings. Value 2017: $4000. Value 500AD: $1000.
-a saddle for a Large Pokemon, with gold laced into it. Value 2017: $1000.
-two Potions in gourds. Value 2017: 0$, not believable.
-one dose of Honey in a clay jar. This stuff will keep forever.
-one fitted whitish Apricorn that can hold a willing Pokemon. You could use this to recover a Pokeball by swapping a member of your team, or you could use it to hold a Pokemon you've recruited with Empathy. It has a 'magic crystal' which is clearly Meteoric Superconductor.
(Since all pokemons I captured was via empathy, thats gonna be pretty useful)
Heart grab all of these items and finally return to his companions.

Mawile spins around, displaying colossal iron jaws! -1 Str for Angie and Terra. While you are flinching, Mawile advances hungrily, jaws first. While it is thus engaged in walking backward, the main body of the Pokemon is busily picking grass seeds and stuffing them into its mouth. It seems SUPER hungry. The steel horns sniff at Terra, searching for that food. It's going to take more than a light snack to mollify this Pokemon.
Unphazable as he typically was, even Terra's simple manner and stoicism was no match for the sheer Intimidation factor that was a hungry Mawile's gaping maw being aimed straight at them, and froze as he stared at them for several nerve wracking seconds. He managed to recover quickly, but now he no longer felt entirely confidant in his endeavor to courting the piercing pixie favor, nicely or otherwise.....
Angie had it even worse, as she let out a quiet and scared *ssssszzzzz* and scooted herself more to her papa's side, not wanting anything to do with that great big mouth on that metallic fae. Not only did she not want to get gobbled up, but something about them just........ scared her on an instinctual level beyond Intimidation. Like they were her....... natural predator, or a fiend that would bring no end of ill fortune should she incur their wrath.....
Right now, the rugged wanderer's focus was almost entirely on Mawile, but he was still aware enough of his smol chubby snake's unease/fright to position himself in front of her. He couldn't do much more than that right now without opening himself/her up to possible attack, but at the very least if they did become aggressive they have to go through him first before they could take a Bite out of her.
When Mawile began sniffing at him hungrily, he nearly jolted in place and set Angie upon them, but then he noticed what they were doing/eating with their true mouth + their current behavior, and from there was able to deduce that they were not looking to make a meal out of them.....yet. He then also remembered what he just offered to the metallic fae moments prior -fear's a good memory eraser, eh?-, and so quickly set about honoring his word, taking out and opening up all the remaining jars of ham he received from the farmer's in 1925, placing them carefully in front of them. After doing that, he slowly backed up to give the both of them some space, keeping his hands close to his side and speaking to them in a calm, kind tone, so as not to provoke/scare them.
"Here. Sweet fruit jam. Eat all you want. Have more food, if you eat all the jam."
Order: Feed that hungry Mawile all she can handle, even if it means cutting deeply into Terra's own supplies! That's all!

What Nathan finds is most spectacular of all. He's found the site of a recent fierce battle, where arches and road surfaces have been crumbled under the sheer force of powerful attacks. All the warding gems are shattered into dust. One arch has already been thoroughly looted, all the gems prised away. An empty slot is left for a large sphere. In the other ruined arch, the gems are likewise missing, but a huge metal orb has escaped detection beneath a thick layer of dust. Giving it a little rub, Nathan is amazed to discover it's made out of one of Sarimanok's three legendary metals.
Those are:
Orichalcum: Associated with wild Pokemon and Arceus and Mew.
Mithril: Associated with journeys/Quests and Heatran.
Adamant: Associated with time, and Dialga, of course.
What Nathan has found is a sphere made of Adamant, a large enough quantity to possess some power of its own. It doesn't hold the incredible evoked Earthpower of a true Adamant Orb, of course, but it's still worth a King's ransom in 2017, and it will certainly hold power in 500AD, though it's common enough to be used as a particularly grandiose decoration.
The Legendary Metals were created by Sarimanok as a boon from Heatran itself. No one knows what favor the King performed to earn such a reward. Only the King himself could create the metal using an infusion of Earthpower and metallurgical techniques now lost to the ages. It is known he had to be sitting in the Throne to perform this miracle.
This is a truly incredible find, but it may raise some ethical questions.
Whoa...an orb of solid Adamant?!
Whoa.
Looks like it came from one of those archways, too...must have been dislodged during the battle...the other orb must have been taken already...
Nathan looks at Gallade. "...does anything seem to be paying attention to us right now from what you can tell, Gallade? Or is it just us?"

Mawile eats all the jam, first opening the glass with her horns, then scooping out the sweetstuff with her hands. Then she eats all the marshmallows. She still looks hungry, but she looks calmer. She edges closer, licking her lips.

First of all, send a message to Bill!
Quote:Found something really, really cool, Bill. It's like, extra super duper valuable, though. Need to be able to store it safely and securely. Is the PC's item storage secure enough for something monetarily valuable beyond compare, in your opinion? I mean, I'm fairly certain it's secure, but I just want to make sure before I send this item over because it's easily one of the most valuable things I've ever seen and losing it would be...disastrous, to say the least.

Terra stood his ground as the metallic fae crept closer to him, this time managing to keep a straight face as he crouched down and smile kindly at her. He couldn't help but be impressed that she scarfed down all those sweets, including an entire bag of marshmallow ('Note to self: Buy more marshmallow in the future......future.'), but also a bit worried too, seeing as a voracious appetite like that could point towards good or bad health.
"Like that? *Nods* Good. Hm.....you still look hungry though. Here."
A moment of rumiging through his supplies later, and he pulled out two Oran Berries, and offered them to her directly.
"Oran Berries. Will fill you up, and make you.....healthier. Have more Berries, if you still are hungry."
Whether or not the piercing pixie takes them, he'll have this to say too, as he extends his other hand in a gesture of friendship:
"Mawile, why.....don't you become my partner? Will always take care of you....never go hungry again, and I can make you stronger. MUCH stronger. Can prove my own Strength and....worth too, if you want. Okay?"
Order: If Mawile still appears hungry, then why not give he Oran Berries and make the offer of partnership? If she needs more proof Terra can be relied upon, he'll demonstrate his Strength by first summoning Shiranui (informing her that he's not doing so to use them to Fight her), then lift the sumo wrestler off the ground (Which he should be able to do easily, given his max lifting capacity is 648lbs, and a Hariyama only weighs 560 lbs)! If that doesn't impress them enough....well, we'll get to that point if need be. Its time to make friends with the Deciever....or not! Who knows?

By return Pokemon:
Quote:"The Champion stores every one of his Pokemon in the PC system. They are valuable beyond compare. Does that answer your question? With the PTC you'll have to give the item to a Pokemon to hold."

And the response: (It's unimportant who Nathan sends to the future because he'll just trade for them again immediately, but this trade is specifically for Rhea)
Quote:Fair point, and I suppose it can be said for everyone's pokemon if you think about it. I'll hand the item to Rhea and send the item back with her.
Nathan's current party of pokemon should remain the same at the end of all this. The Adamant Sphere (not to be confused with Dialga's Adamant Orb), however, is going back to 2017 with Rhea. No risk of that orb being found by soldiers if it's in the future, after all!

As the PTC dings to show a completed trade, it starts glowing with a faint silvery light. This light doesn't fade as you wander back to the group.
